when I made a reservation at hyannis U haul and went to pick up the truck they said they had no vehicles. I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone and then to go Virgin Automotive in Yarmouth to get the truck overall the truck was good but the hyannis location screwed up and made a reservation for me that they could not honor. When I went to Hyanns they had two trucks in the lot but would not give me one. Overall I believe I should get a partial refund or discount.

Virgin Automotive was the best. U-Haul sent us on a 7 hour nightmare in search of a 10' truck. It was originally scheduled for a noon pickup in Orleans, MA, but the price was $100+ more than what I was quoted so I cancelled. I eventually got the truck I wanted,. at the correct price, thanks entirely to the owner of Virgin Automotive. U- Haul needs to overhaul their online reservation process: When choosing a destination the question is asked if you could be flexible. I originally chose Springfield, VT, but if I would agree to drop the truck off in Brattleboro, VT U-haul would drop the price by $106. Someone interpreted that to mean Brattleboro was my first choice, and in order to get the discount, I would have to drop off in Greenfield, MA. That would have been rediculous. In the end it worked out and there are some very good people we encountered at U-Haul, but they were not empowered to correct the price. That is, until we got to Virgin Automotive. And he fixed it. I hit recommend Virgin Automotive to anyone in need of their services.

I had an immediate need but the reservation process was terrible. First got an acceptance online and while I headed to the pickup site the regional coordinator sent an email that they could not provide a van anywhere near but had one 30 miles away. However the local agent in Dennis knew of a nearby location at Virgin Automotive who had a van. He confirmed that and at the pickup the owner was extremely helpful. Also while trying to reserve the first van online I somehow ended up with an order for $135 in moving supplies which I did not need or want. The order shipped immediately so I will have to physically return it to a uhaul site. I'm very unhappy about and will never reserve a van from uhaul online site again. I have only praise for the people on the ground who helped me in a tight situation. The van I rented was new, clean comfortable and drove perfectly through torrential rain.

Chris at Virgin Auto has been very accommodating. Our pantry has been renting a u-haul weekly to pick up food from the Boston Food Bank for distribution at our food pantry. For the past year or so we have been picking up the truck at VA, which is a convent location for us. We have recently purchased our own vehicle and will no longer be doing the weekly rental.

Gentleman who helped us very accommodating and helpful...service could truly not be any better. I think he could use more uhaul trucks availability was poor....we rented the last vehicle!!! Everything else perfect!
