The staff was great there if I had been there the first three days it might have been better .. I have never experienced the mess I had the first three days before that with a u haul ever .. it was not a great experience .. I was over charged .. canceled on on the whole order from haul .. never been so mistreated in my whole life and just as rude as they could be .. never seen anything like itMARGIE B.

Phone number displayed on the office door to get help was not a working number. Had to track down the manager who was out of the office checking storage units. Truck was not swept out but the manager accomplished this while we waited.Kevin S.

I couldn't adjust the back on the seat to be comfortable driving. I was told by my daughter who lives in Douglasville GA and my sister who lives in Chicago IL. That the $41.86 I paid for driving less than 30 miles was to much I only had the truck for less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. When I return with the truck your employee was not there. I was told by my daughter that the Home Depot U-Haul in Villa Rica have unlimited and your renting it for the day and you pay only the $19.95 and other fees that didn't amount to the $41.86 I was charged I will NEVER go back to the U-Haul located at Villa Rica Lock Storage-(5212) 525 E. Montgomery St,Villa Rica GA30180. I was charge 0.79 X 20.00 per mile. That a shame. I had never rent a u-haul before. But I know now not to go back there I feel that I was cheated..corine J.

Engine light was on for both times when I used the 26 foot truck. Being a truck driver I wasn't that concerned, but it could be pretty stressful for someone who isn't use to it. And if a light is on, there should be a box the renter can check...so the renter doesn't feel liable in case the truck should break down. Which was my only concern.David B.
There was no customer service rep on this location on 7/28/22 when the trailer was dropped off on Thursday 7/28/22. Villa Rica Lock Storage 5212. 525 East Montgomery St. Villa Rica GA. 30180. I received an email today with an added charge of $29.96. It says the trailer was dropped off at 0800 on 7/30/22. Please reverse this charge to my credit card.Kevin W.

Absolutely terrible. I rented the truck for a no contact pickup at 8:30 am. We get there and it tells us we have to go inside and see the person working. Well, they don't open until 9. So we sat there for 30 minutes. Then, I paid for insurance. The insurance didn't cover roadside assistance, and we needed to be pulled from where our back end was stuck. Uhaul wanted another $350 to come do that. I'm not even sure what I paid for insurance for! Absolutely do not recommend.Aaron P.

Requested equipment was not available, we were not notified that the equipment we ordered a week prior was not available so that that we could make alternative arrangements. Instead we were told the main office the next city over would have the equipment we need, called there in the morning and that office ALSO didn't have what we needed.Allyson P.

We waited a hour for our first location in Douglasville GA to open up. We got there at 10:00 and waited almost a hour before calling U-Haul because the business wasn't open. Was told by U-Haul they called the owner and he should be on his way!! We asked for another location, No we are sorry NOTHING!Shelley B.

They literally had all the trailers sitting on the ground. My injured husband literally had to hulk this 1000 pound trailer off the ground. Maintain your equipment better. Dont make people get trailers off the ground. Do not recommend this store.John L.

The cab door did not latch properly and the entire ride from Georgia to New York in January was cold and noisy. The gas tank on the dash stopped registering at 1/4 tank and once it was realized that it read 1/4 tank for several miles, we almost ran out of gas. The hand truck we ordered was not in the truck and the 10 blankets ordered were not there. Their excuse was we're not a regular U-haul store. My advice: steer away from the Villa Rica location and go to Douglasville to rent your truck. Villa Rica location was not professional. Don't experience what I did.Susan D.

They were not on site. I called and the person, Jess, said to drop the keys and contract in the drop box and they would make sure I had the correct time entered duct I was on time and I did not need to do any further check in on my phone. I dropped the keys in the drop box but was charged for an extra day because they entered the drop later in the day and now I'm charged for there lies and bad business tactics. I would but recommend U-Haul until this is fixed and should have utilized another company .KAREEM W.

It seemed strange when I arrived to pick up the truck, the facility was locked down. No one was allowed in. If you want to require mask is fin but no need to lock down. I had to call from out side the building to do business.John O.
I rented a 12 foot box trailer. And it did not come with a jack to lift it off my truck would be able to store it. And honestly it was heavy and it got even heavier after it was loaded. It would be very wise to install Jax and lifts on these trailersJAMES G.

They had the truck and trailer but not the appliance dolly or enough blankets. Had to go to another store to pick up. They provided no help to connect the trailer.Robert L.

The computer system used by U-Haul is pathetic. I was delayed by 45 minutes because the system would not allow manual entries. The person there (Kimberly) was great, but she had to talk to the district manager to get an answer for our problem. Where are your troubleshooting manuals? Training manuals?
