-Very much appreciated the staff coming in early to accommodate my requested pick up time of 08:00 when their location didn't technically open until 10:00. -There were issues in securing the drop off location. I was told the drop off location would be revealed when I picked up the truck. However, the staff member at the store had difficulty finding the address of the location. The computer system was not giving an address in the town I needed to drop off in. After calling another staff member we were given an address in Cochrane, Alberta, as requested. However this address was incorrect and resulted in issues at drop off. See comment under the "drop off" review.Stacy L.

The pick-up location was perfectly fine and the person at the counter was friendly and helpful! The problem I have is that, the first vehicle which was booked for me, was a walking distance away. I received an email the day of pickup and I had to take a 35 minute cab ride to get to the new location of pickup and again after dropping the vehicle off! That was very inconvenient and expensive for me! It cost me an extra $70 in cab fare! And I'm sure I was over-charged! A 3 day rental of a pickup truck should not cost over $300 with free mileage!MARC T.
No contract was given (paper, text or email) so I had no return instructions and she was closed for the next two days in a row. We tried to return it the next day but no drop box and the store was closed / no signage etc. on how to return key. tried to call uhaul and no answer. So when I showed up as soon as she finally opened two days later she charged me for three days â€¦after I did everything possible to return the truck. It was sitting in her parking lot the entire time. Nice scam. No customer service, and no accountability.Kara F.
Unprofessional Staff who demand that the truck be returned to the pickup location and then I was charged for the distance in mileage. I have been renting trucks/vans from U-Haul for years and never had this terrible experience. No gas in the vehicle, no wiper blades (of course it rained), the truck was dirty and not cleaned I was given poor excuses.."oh the person before you didn't have time to refill the gas, the wiper blades should have been changed since last week, the truck was very dirty we had to sweep it out...the customer service rep said "we are the only ones in Edmonton with this size truck so that is the reason you have to take it back to the pick up location..I believe they should agree to half if the mileage since they insiated that it be taken back to the pick up location and this was never told to us when the booking was made!!I never had this experience before.....I therefore will not recommend anyone renting from this U-Haul location...10998 124 Edmonton.Gerald S.

My experience with the location was positive. But returning the truck through the mobile app was not. The photos would not upload and I had to call uhaul for support where I was provided a workaround. It seemed to be a known and common issue. And then the app did not provide a four letter pass code for the combination pad lock and i had to call uhaul again. I spent almost an hr trying to return the truck.Karen T.
When I returned the truck after hours, they left a padlock in their outside mailbox without a code. There is no secure drop box for the key; I decided to keep the key to drop it off the next day. I also called the numbers listed for support, the calls went unanswered and there was no voicemail setup. The location was not open on Mondays. After waiting 45 to be connected with a representative; he was very rude. He cut me off several times when I tried to explain why I didn't leave the key and basically said they needed their key. He eventually connected me to another lady who told me to leave the key in the mailbox because the truck was booked for another family. Not one of the customers service representatives I spoke with apologized for this inconvenience. Horrible experience and service.Terona B.

Planned for the online checkin but vehicle was 10 minutes late so showed as not available and see agent. Once the vehicle was returned, to check out the vehicle took ~20 minutes as needed to provide drivers licences, remove insurance and then problems with card reader. -All things thought I would bypass sign booked online and selected online checkin. Vehicle could use a cleaning inside and out but because it was late understand wasn't cleaned (other than covid wipe down in interior). Returning was better than pickup other than hard to park as small lot.Joseph P.

I am really very impressed with this new business model of contracting with existing small businesses to rent your vehicles. It means a chance for them to add a new revenue stream for their business, and many more vehicles available at easier to reach locations throughout the city for customers.
