Douglas FWas told one price and charged another. Then was told some BS scam about fuel and charged $32 even tho I only drove 4 miles. It's a straight scam. Employees were rude. Do not rent from here unless you want to be lied to and overcharged

dimas hI did not see a orange key drop off box as shown online so I put truck key in silver payment drop off box instead.
Elliott WI picked up a 15 foot in closed to move my daughter. The truck full of small roaches! I had to go get roach spray to kill them before we could do anything. Every place that was sprayed( all rails, overhead voids, track for the door) produced live roaches. After closing up and leaving for 45 minutes, I came back out and checked for movement. Swept the entire truck and wipe down all flat areas. When we got to new place and started unloading I did see 2 walkers still alive but slow. I told the nice lady at the drop off and she said that she would report the truck and not rent again. I have a small business in Myrtle Beach and from time to time rent from my local UHaul company and have never see anything like this! So I'm not sure how this truck was inspected and sent out again? This is something that, as a company, you should follow up on fast.
Johnny SIt was a very efficient process and the staff were amazingly professional. The app and online booking process accompanied by the service a pick up and drop off complimented each and worked in unison; efficient.
Brian MWas not told about the broken driver door mirror which made for a hazard driving for lane change, noted to them when i pulled off lot, they advised they aware and a part on order but failed to tell me i was renting avtruck at full cost with a danger to drive of a broken mirror to see traffic, very annoying.

Carl KMy guaranteed truck was not available. I had to go 10 miles further to another location and still was charged the extra miles. Upon return of the truck, I was billed an extra $50 because they read the odometer wrong (supposedly). I think they were trying to cheat me.

Elizete FThe truck didn't work and the assistance when I got back was not friendly . She tried to check me out on her phone for 20 mins. I stood waiting in front of her for a really long time telling her how my truck wasn't useable and what happened . She seemed apathetic. I had to get roadside to help late at night - and needed to extend the time since after roadside came I forgot the door didn't work when unloading and had to get the truck back before 6 . The door not working meant I needed to go back to the storage to drop off stuff and use the other doors which was difficult . She was able to slam it shut . I asked for a receipt . I emailed the storage center and never got anything back. I explained that my email link ended up being a blank pdf and I needed to dispute it. The online rental took an hour on my phone . Thanks fully the tech support helped but that is well recorded that it kept kicking me out and I had to log in and re-register many time. I'm on hold right now for 25 mins … just bad

Wayne GTheir terms isn't fair. I went for van which had an almost empty fuel, but I was told to refuel It to quarter Guage when returning else the fuel hold on my debit card won't be released. What I know is that when renting trucks from different companies, you usually return the fuel as it was or get charged for not refueling.
jameson iStaff was cold and seemed irritated to assist me. I was the only person there at opening. I reserved a hand truck on the original reservation and none were available at the location. Staff member didn't even apologize and said "you can try another location." When I called U-Haul to add time (to a daily rate) to accommodate for my lack of hand truck and additional labor time, I was told the price would be doubled for adding 1 hour. Van was not cleaned inside from prior renter. Windshield was filthy and no washer fluid. Back door lock on van was broken.

Barbara mI am having a discrepancy with the final statement. Uhaul is charging me for gas and I filled up to 3/8 of the tank before returns truck. I called this facility and they said they couldn't do anything.
Antonio AThe return process left me a touch less confident than it should. It consisted of just handing the key to someone at the store who said, "we'll send you and email after we check the truck back in." It would have been better to have a receipt in hand when I left. Granted, it was right at Store Open, so the PCs might not have been fully spun up and ready to do this.

WAYNE GSTAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. They overcharged me a whole day with a dolly. I didn't even get to use. Nick the guy behind desk called me early morning to say I was late returning the truck and to return it asap . I advised I see a pending charge for second day, he states bring back the truck I'll take care of it ..Lies they hit my card with $145 on a $50 rental.. SCAMMERS reporting to All agencies ….

ALIYAH DThis place was so clean and courteous! I went to the wrong location before I came here.. No one greeted me and after I stood there for at least 20 mins .. when someone got to me they said you're at the wrong place. ( mind you no one was in front of me) When I arrived at Value storage I was greeted immediately! They quickly took me through the process and I had a truck in less time then it took for me to stand ln line at the other place. I'm glad the other place sent me down the road and I found this place. A++. P.s it was so simple I was waiting for the scam... when I walked out I said so that's it? The sales man said yup that's it, here are the keys...
