I had reserved a pick up truck. But was given a box truck.Farren M.
I needed the truck a little longer than usual I had a lot of things to do toward the end of this month and normally I have such a hard time renting the 8-ft pickup so I just decided to keep on renting it and keep going with my rental the last time I got a phone call from one of the employees at that location I was threatened with having the police called on me when all I told him was to charge me again because I was not done working and I had so much stuff to do and he told me when I left that as long as I keep paying I can keep the truck as long as I want but then to turn around and accuse me of stealing the truck and also stating that they were going to report it stolen that was completely unnecessary I rent trucks from you guys almost every week for the last 6 months I spend anywhere between $600 and $1,000 I'm on renting trucks from you guys and for me to be treated this way which I have never incurred this type of treatment at any of your other locations that I go to I found it outrageous and unacceptable I have never felt so much like a piece of crap after the way the person at that location spoke to me I'm not going to lie after being treated in such a manner I got upset and gave him my opinion of himself but I found it was so uncool and even on this time around I spent over $700 on the truck and I had no problem doing so because I needed it but for me to be treated in such a manner was uncalled forjose T.

I was told the oil can symbol and the beep every 20 seconds was just that the U-Haul vehicle needing an oil change and it would be fine for the 714 miles I had to drive from Tampa Florida to Danville Virginia. THE TRUCK BROKE DOWN 3 TIMES!!! Come to find out my concerns voiced to the employee at the pick up location about the beep, the oil pressure going from H to L, the valve rattling, and the filth of the vehicle were correct. I was placed in a situation where I was told it is this truck or nothing. On top of that I had to drive 80 miles to get the vehicle in which I was just happy U-Haul found one at all after submitting my request almost 1 month prior and having to wait or drive a longer distance to pick a truck due to "a shortage in 20ft and 26ft vehicles". I will never rent from U-Haul again and feel I should be compensated some of my funds back due to the having to constantly stop amd let the truck cool down as the rep said. Think about it.. ... all your worldly possessions packed in a 20ft truck and towing your new vehicle behind that for all th I se miles with a constant beep ever 20 seconds plus the rattling and oil symbol. Not enjoyable one bit. Scared the entire 18 and a half hour drive! When I returned the truck and car hauler the rep at the location just laughed and said "let me guess, you paid cash as well and the oil can symbol and beep means the engine could have blown at any time"? I was shocked and to put it politely pissed out of my mind and tired!Tristen W.

The brakes were nerve wracking & it sounded like air was coming from the windshield as if there was an opening in the glass not really sure how to explain itâ€¦ Also there was almost no gas in the U Haul I'm not sure if that is the normal. When I tried to do the mobile check out the website wouldn't load luckily there was 5 minutes before close to talk to someone inside.Alex D.

The location is extremely clean and inviting. The attendant came out to the truck to meet me even though I had a mobile check-in. She saw me sitting in the truck for a few minutes and came out to ask if I needed any help. She's very kind and although my drop off was apparently scheduled at a different location in error, she did what she could to see if I could return the truck to her location. She looked at my reservation and confirm that I could return the truck at her location. This was very helpful. She personally check the mileage and the gas and inside the back of the truck appropriately. In addition she kindly discuss the additional charges that I was charged for mileage and asked if I understood. I would certainly recommend the site for not only drop off but pick up as well.Francene G.
Auto transport,had issues with lights not working. Agent had find one in different location , in that process she maxed out my credit card. . because she had it holding for 2 reservations . My original one and the second one . When I went to pick up trailer at other location I did not have the available credit to rent the trailer . Not to mention all of the extra time it took to complete equipment pickup . Never has it been this difficult . I made reservations way ahead of time.Gerri R.

El servicio y la atenciÃ³n son excelente aunque debo seÃ±alar que deben darle un mejor mantenimiento a camiones ya que no le sirve las conexiones para cargar celular lo cual dificulta la gps a larga distancia ,las puerta no funcionan perfectamente, hay que tirarlas con fuerza para que cierren y muy altos consumidores de combustible deberÃa perfeccionar mejores calidades ya que si tienen buena demanda por la poblaciÃ³n.YOANDY M.
the door was messed up, there was no gas cap, and when checking out they charged me 99 cents a mile when I was told I would be charged 79 cents a mile and the lady told me that the guy was new and didn't know the prices. Not is not a customers problem she should of granted me the 79 cents a mile and didn't want to even dough we have a 10x20 rented where she could of granted it.Anelida A.

This location is very appealing. The inside of the cab's surfaces were all very gross. This location was easy to get to, but communication was a little off and confusing in regards to dropping off. Would still go here. It would have been nice if they told me the UHAUL number to call (when ready to drop off) was only available 7am-7pm. I had made plans to drop off one evening and called at 8pm and they were not available- which would have not been an issue had I known up front.JESSICA B.
This location is running a scam. They charged me for gas even though I have a picture with evidence showing I returned it with as much gas as the truck left with. Also before renting the truck I called and asked if a hitch was included. They told me it was. When I arrived they told me that a hitch was not included. I am extremely disappointed. I attempted to resolve the gas issue with Rachel the supposed â€œassistant managerâ€ who has no customer service skills whatsoever. She argued with me after flipping her story when she was proving wrong. I regularly rent U-Haul trucks from other locations. This was the first time for this location and definitely the last. It's only $7. But it's not about the money it's the principle to me. I took 30 minutes to put the correct amount of gas in the truck and then to be charged for gas after the fact is completely wrong.
