When it was time to leave with the rental. I wasn’t comfortable backing out the truck in such a small space and she went and did it for me. The gentleman was very helpful as well. We weren’t planning on getting a storage because it was expensive but he helped us get one with a promotion so the price worked out better for us.

Lincoln WellingtonI had a horrible experience. It started with a uhaul location changing my one way move 10 mins before pickup to a place 30 mins away. I could not make it in time as I had scheduled movers through uhaul to meet me at the loading location. I scrambled to find a truck at this location that was in town. I had to pay mileage and return the truck back to Tamarac from Ft pierce. To make it worse, the truck paperwork said it had a 1/4 tank of gas and it did not. I drove 10 miles and had to put 20 gallons in to hit almost half a tank. I dropped the truck back in tamarac with the same gas it was given to me. I let the location know about the problem and they charged me 60 dollars to add gas to it. I LEFT IT WITH THE SAME GAS I WAS GIVEN. To top it off the truck was unsafe. It pulled to the right so bad it wanted to drive off the road and the truck made a loud buzzing sound coming from under the dash when I stepped on the brake. I reported both issues to the location and they did nothing. This was the worst experience ever. Each time I spoke to a rep of uhaul I was given canned responses and not helped one bit. When your company is at fault for multiple missteps the least you can do is bend over backwards to fix it. No one did any of that. I had to fix all the problems you caused myself.

kIMBERLY RILEYhad a terrible experience with my reservation process, it took 5 days to get a confirmation that i had a truck and tow dolly for my move. Finally got it two days before my move to find out my tow dolly was cancelled. Customer service did find me one, but had to be picked up at another location, then i get to the other location to hear that I can’t have a one way tow dolly, then the CSR had to figure that out. But my original reservation from over a week ago, was definitely a one way. Then before I was returning my equipment I had to have my return place changed twice because, U-Haul wanted me to return each piece of equipment at separate locations with one location being over 40 mins away from the address that was put on the original reservation. Some type of refund would be appreciated for the consistent inconvenience I had to experience during such a big move, and also a call from a member of management at U-Haul corporation. I have rented from U-Haul for all of my moves in the past 10 years, and never had an experience like this one. Very disappointing to see a company so disorganized.
Cody ScottTruck smelt like heavy cigarette smoke The back of the truck was filthy I had to sweep it my self and waste my time . There was dirt dirty wet clothes lighters and other miscellaneous things . The front of the truck had a bunch of papers that were garbage that I also had to clean up
