Two different people Called me on the return date asking where the keys to the truck where even though I still had the the truck (still in the allowed time frame) and never had dropped it off. Then also received a butt dial that night. The fact that I am just now a month later getting the receipt is crazyChristina M.

I picked up the van at 9:16 am. The gentleman behind opened store was late but very courteous and helpful. I got in the van and as I started to drive I noticed the tank was on E. I put $15.00 on it, of which I hardly even used. Then I received a bill in my email stating one charge.. for gas! I put $15.00 why should I get charged $9.00 for gas? You should not charge anything. In fact I should be reimbursed bc the van was left with 1/4 tank.Anna A.

The location should open at 8:00am. 9:00am is very late for rental of vehicle. For example Home Depot starts at 6:00am.paul G.
I booked a one way from Staten Island to New Jersey for a 15ft truck as well as moving equipment. This reservation was booked last month and made for Tuesday the 26th. On Sunday the 24th, I received a call from Valley Gas advising me they did not have any one ways and was unsure why I'd be able to book through Uhaul. Being desperate on time I agreed to take the 15ft and return it back to Staten Island by 9am Wednesday morning. Even though I would need to pay more. On Monday the 25th I received a call from valley gas in Staten Island advising me they had just received in a 20ft truck that would qualify for one way to New Jersey for an additional $10 and agreed. It was also at this time that Valley Gas advised me they do not have any moving equipment, I.e pads, dollys, and blankets that I originally reserved and therefore went out to purchase all the above last minute the day before the truck was obtained. I confirmed with Valley Gas I would be there for 9am. When I arrived on a Tuesday the 26th I was helped by a very nice gentleman who advised me his boss had filled him in on everything. He confirmed we were taking a one way, asked us for the zip code we'd be heading, confirmed that we could take it TO ANY UHUAL WITHIN this area, and finished up the paper work. I was charged for $195 which was an agreed upon amount and he advised me to walk to their driveway and essentially get the vehicle myself. When I got into the vehicle there is 1/2 tank of gas. I have a photo of the dashboard as well as an entire video of the cab or the car to document. I THEN SEE that on the contract it says there was 3/4 which was just false. Especially that I have now been charged to fill the tank back to 3/4 of a tank when this was 100% a falsely documented amount. My issue with Valley has arises when I drop off the Car with Uhaul in Passaic. I've been advised that it showed Staten Island as the drop off by Kevin. This was at 6:40 pm.shannon M.

I did my reservation for 8am pickup the place was closed and open after 9am and keep waiting on the street and when I complained they told me that's U-Haul mistake and also when I returned the car they charge me for fuel and I returned the truck with gas more than I have it when I pickup the truck and also the place was closed and open by 9amSamy M.
The first truck I was assigned had issues which i fortunately noticed before leaving facility. John was very helpful in immediately switching me to another truck which turned out to be fine.JOEL M.

John, the worker there, charged me 16$ for insurance that I did not want. He informed me he would take it off when I returned the truck. The location didn't check what reasons they had and failed to have one for us at the time of pick up, plus we have had a couple of problems with biking and then being charged for had when we had ahead of had in the vehicle. We understand that reservations are not written in some but we have been renting from that location frequently. Also we received the beholder with less than a1/4 tank of gas, we will talking our business to another locationJOHN N.

Put people there to fix the trailer for customers. Customers don't have to fix the trailer them self. And the guy there has to let customers know what they getting them self into, I mean the contract. He don't have to sign it for themSETH M.

The location was great. However, my terrible experience came from uhaul logistics. At checkout I was told I could rent a dolly and when I picked up the truck there was no dolly AND my pickup location did not even offer any. It was a huge inconvenience for me. I should never have been able to checkout a dolly online if my location did not have one. Btw I waited on hold with uhaul costumer support for 1 hour. Really not ok. I give the location 3 stars and uhaul 1 star.Vincent S.

I usually use the Bay Street Location. Always a good or excellent experience. Valley gas not that my equipment wasn't working but didn't even bother checking to see if all was good or give a little help at least line me up to connect trailer to my van.Domenick C.

I had contactless pickup setup but has to wait an hour for shop to open up because uhaul was not ready and parked for me to pickup like stated in reservation. Truck and move went great, excellent truck for move. When i dropped off it was very hars for me to contact you to inform i was going to be late to dropoff i hope i wasn't charged extra for that. I rented trailer one day and returned same day and no one in the office they were close ,three days later someone called me and he said when you return to trailer, I told him I did same day ,, he said ooo sorry our mistake , next day I saw my credit information show they charged me three days ...Ahmet N.
