ROSE CI waited an hour and a half for help. They are seriously understaffed.
Pamela LI ordered this truck to be picked up in Williston, ND. Not only did I have to drive 75 miles to get it because you failed in your responsibility, you didn't even have the decency to pay for the gas it took me to get it to where I needed it to be. In addition, you called me and gave me 12 hours' worth of notice. You should have told me sooner. The truck was absolutely filthy. It had obviously not even been checked by any U-Haul employee. Finally, I had planned to drive through the night to make it to my destination. Because the headlights were so dim, I couldn't risk being out after dark and was forced to stay in a hotel for a night I hadn't planned to spend. I have used U-Haul many times through the years and never had an experience like this. I'll not be using U-Haul again, and neither will my son in his upcoming move. You ought to have reimbursed me at least some of the money I spent but when I returned the truck, (you) tried to extract more money out of me for going over the miles allotted (BECAUSE you didn't have the truck where you told me it would be). Shame on you for treating a long-time customer like this.

Jenny SThere was no drop off box, so had to go into the facility which was confusing as to where to go once inside. A few workers were unsure of how to handle to drop off although all was done through the app and I just needed to drop off the keys. Would have been more efficient to have just a designated drop off location at the facility that was easy to access.

STEVEN GI was very disappointed in Uhaul with this rent. I rented both a 26 foot truck and car hauler. I needed the truck and hauler on Friday the 21st of May. I reserved both as well as 5 dozen furniture blankets approximately 1-1/2 weeks earlier. I didn't hear from Uhaul at all, so on the 18th I called and was told I needed to pick the truck and trailer up in New Town ND. This location was a 2 hour drive from where I reserved the truck which is where I lived. I had also asked for a 7:30 pickup time so I could use Friday to load the truck and trailer as I had a lot to load. I was told I couldn't get the truck until 1:00 PM. The following day I got a link to confirm with the pickup location and did so. A very nice lady spoke to me and took my phone number so she could let me know if the equipment came in early. She did call on Thursday and told me the truck was there and trailer expected within an hour so I could pick it up Friday Morning. I had to get up at 4:00 AM to get there by 7:30 and when I did and when I processed the truck, it was completely filthy. The front was completely covered with bugs and sides were covered in a film of clay which is common on the dirt roads in this area. The trailer was covered in the same thing. The ratchets to hold the car were full of mud and wouldn't even operate. I was able to make them work after washing them with a hose. When I confirmed the rental, I also confirmed the furniture blankets. The nice lady said they only have 10 blankets and that UHaul had not sent any to them. I called dispatch again and was told that I had to go to a large uhaul center to pick up the blankets. The closest center was a 1-1/2 hour in the opposite direction from where the truck was being picked up. I drove there on Thursday and could only pick 3 dozen up, that's all they had. I got on the phone and found 2 more dozen in the next town which was on my way home so I got them there. The equipment did function and the truck although damaged on both sides was clean inside and performed well. Fuel economy was not great, it averaged 6 MPG but is a very large truck. It did have good power and pulled the trailer well. It rode fairly well and protected my household goods. My disappointment was in Uhaul not keeping in touch, not coordinating the blankets with the truck and trailer and sending me a long distance to pick the truck up. When dispatch told me where to pick up the truck, I mentioned that it was a long ways. She said it was only 60 miles which was not true. That location was 130 miles. Their information was not correct. It was frustrating to have to deal with this along with planning and executing the move itself.
EDWARD MNot the locations fault, but 1) don’t make me drive an hour and a half to a different location to pick up an order. 2) Don’t THEN charge me 300 dollars more than you quoted me.

CAROLINE KWe booked a uhaul truck in Minot for Thursday March 25. This was booked and confirmed over one month prior. We called to be sure it would be there for us. To our surprise. Told us no. There was nothing there for us and they did not offer to get us a vehicle there. We found one in Newtown and had to pay for a cab to get there which cost us $150. No apology. We needed this vehicle to get back to Canada and this out our plans in jeopardy. We told the folks at newtown and they said they could not do anything. We had to contact U Haul directly. We would like you to address this with us. Also the truck was very dirty inside. We went one photo as that was all was allowed to upload. We have more. Garbage, dust, dirt, ketchup stuck to the console. Not happy with this at all.

Marlon mGet a different counter person. He was training someone else who took 3 times to get it right and did not speak English. I don't speak Spanish. Did not confirm fuel by observing it. No key drop and they were not open when I brought truck back. Called U-Haul they told me bring the key back next am. I did at 715 am. No one there. So I gave key and my phone numberI to another employee at the counter. I drove total 5 miles used 1 gallon gas in fact more gas in when I returned truck then when I got truck and his initial calculation was wrong. Charged me for 3 days use when it was 23 hrs.
Corrine Sthis is more or a compliment since i believe you need to hear good things as well as constructive criticisms. i want to tell you that the persons at this location were VERY accommodating and expedient. They helped me make a reservation and helped me to get quickly on my way. These people need an "That a boy!"

Edgar MThey changed me an extra 50.00 to drop off at a location closest to me. Why would I drop off if I was leaving town? Uhaul need to communicate with other uhauls. This was not worth it... I could of had family helped me. But decided to give them a try.. would NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!!!
