Granted this facility doesn't rent many UHauls (they had two small trailers in their yard). Their bread and butter is selling new trailers. My disappointment was related to the un-hitching of the 6x12 van trailer. The gentleman behind the desk went out to inspect the trailer, took about four minutes, walks around the trailer, looks inside, then returns to his service desk. He punches in more stuff in the computer, then prints out my receipt showing no charges remaining (yea). Then he hands it to me and says, "just unhitch it and leave it where it is." I repeat back to him what he just said, and he says "yup". So I go out with my 66.5 year old non-chiseled body and take my time unhitching the thing that he just left from his inspection. The tongue weight was pretty steep for me. I grumbled to myself all the way home for 40 miles asking myself why he didn't go to the effort of putting a little elbow grease into the customer appreciation experience.......... Thanks for listening if you've made it this far. My closing thoughts are that I don't think I'll ever buy a trailer there, and I won't be renting from that UHaul location. It appears that's not something that they like to do. Just a hunch.

This was an absolute shitshow. They could not find our receipt, kept getting calls several times a day from uhaul about whether we dropped it off yet. It doesnt seem like it was the locations fault but rather uhauls fault. Will not be doing this again

Representative was not friendly and to hookup and unhook trailer myself. Nice place but poor customer service. Even when I was a recent customer for a new snowblower.

This is for Uhaul in general. I did not like that the truck came with no loading ramp. Not until after I got home and the loaders came, were they the ones to tell me that only 15’ trucks come with loading ramps. Additionally, there was no cruise control. It made the 19 hour drive pretty miserable. Additionally, the small 10’ trucks have a huge bump over the tires on the inside of the truck. This made loading very inconvenient and tricky. Nothing about this truck was convenient. Had I known all of these things were present when I ordered over the phone, I would have gotten something else or gone with another company. If your trucks don’t come with features that I think most people would expect to find on vehicles nowadays, like loading ramps and cruise control and flat inside storage bed (flat inside of truck) , say that OR outfit your vehicles with those features.

Union Trailer Sales is by far the best Trailer dealer and Uhaul Rental place in the Chippewa Valley. The customer service they provided is nothing short of amazing! I would recommend Union Trailer Sales to anyone looking to buy or rent a trailer or other equipment that they sell.

Made the reservation by phone. Got to the center, and was told the didn’t have the dolly I needed. They sent me too another center, because they had one. Got there was told they might have it, but the guy who does that stuff isn’t here. Went to another center, rented the dolly at that location to pick up at the sencond location. Finally got the dolly. Used it for what I needed, and tried to bring it back. Locked gates. Called U-Haul, they called the service manager, and said to just leave it by the gate. Got a phone call a couple days later from U-Haul wondering what happened to the dolly, along with an email for a “Jim”?? Not sure what happened after that, but at least I only got charged for the one day..... Very unorganized!!!! Would have been cheaper and less headache to have just had the car towed.
