It would be helpful for those managing these sites suggesting to offer to either help with the hookup or at least provide either some hook up advice or be there to assit with it. I needed an extension for the lighting wire as what was on the trailer was too short. I was able to obtain line from the manger, but then had to buy an adaptor so I could hook it up my car.

Your reservation “system” is incredibly frustrating. Over the course of 3 days I was told twice that my truck was not available and was given different options at locations 45 minutes away which is not a viable option. Overall this made my experience very stressful. This location itself didn't do anything wrong as the employee did a good job meeting my needs.

Truck was not swept out. Furniture blankets unfolded. Uhaul customer were last priority, as any customer paying for gas went ahead, no matter how long uhaul customer had been waiting. Service agent was friendly though, and relatively helpful.

Very dissatisfied overall! The truck size we booked a month in advance was not available and we had no choice but to go smaller. Now we have no choice but to make a 2nd trip for the rest of our items because we were unable to fit everything in the smaller truck. This is now going to cost us a couple extra hundred dollars. Uhaul really needs to get their shit together!

We ordered a 26 foot truck in March for the end of June. There wasn't one available. We were provided with a trailer that did not hold much. Our move was a six hour drive. My husband had to make an additional trip that cost us an extra $400 plus gas. Very very disappointed. I tried to call you several times to dispute without success of reaching anyone either by phone or live chat.

We rented a 26' moving Van and to pickup truck from 2 different locations we were late bringing back the Van but we spoke to a lady on the phone saying it was ok to have it for another day. As we were not done moving all of our stuff yet. The manager was extremely rude and told me that he was going to give my phone number to the other customers that wanted the vehicle so they could yell at me. All because we were one day late with the Van and we clearly had told them we were going to keep it an extra day. Some people do take a bit longer to move and don't judge their move correctly. Whoever is managing u-haul should tell customers not to but it's not to be expecting a vehicle if it's not in yet. Maybe get the customer's phone numbers so when the vehicle does come in you can just call somebody and rent it out if we are a day too late. Also the pickup truck that I rented they never told me that I needed to return it to the same place I'm now 4 hours away from where I picked it up and they're telling me to drive it back. U-haul is all about the convenience of having the ability to return vehicles at any location.

Service was friendly but lacked knowledge oh how to change an order or cancel and re-make an order to change the trailer type. We were at the location for almost 40 minutes trying to get it right. Inside of trailer floor was dirty and not inspected between customers. Only a check of the outside of the trailer was completed.

Odometer was not correct and I was overcharged. I was told too bad as I didn't take a picture before leaving. I track my whereabouts with the GPS on my phone and prove I didn't put the mileage on the truck, however depending the outcome of my scheduled call with customer service I'm not sure I trust or have faith in the uhaul brand if I have to document and protect myself from fraud every time I use your equipment.

U-Haul needs to separate from the Ultramar. Also the online booking platform is so poorly designed. Just terribly frustrating, inaccurate. Thank goodness for the excellent customer Service reps that helped me when the App AND the website failed. She was incredibly kind and knew how to troubleshoot the issue right away. Awesome and so appreciated!

Clearly a gas station and convienience store first, Uhaulk servicing second. Was waited on in between people buying snacks and candy, gas etc and me getting my truck. Trucks were also parked in the mud lot as it had rained earlier in the day i went to pick up the truck.

The man at the counter was very preoccupied with other things and didn't seem to know to much of what he was doing. *I also want to add about my first experience using uhaul!!!! I ordered a 20 ft truck, and was called later on to say it was not available at my location, and I would have to travel 2 hours away to get it??? Then I was told I could have a 15 foot truck with a trailer, but I would have to pick it up 45 minutes away from my location, this was very inconvenient, and not what I was expecting. Also, they still charged me the same high price on the rental with no discount for the inconvenience. I will never rent from uhaul again, and I will NEVER recommend it, I would actually suggest to people to not bother with uhaul ever!!! I'm overly disappointed with my experience.

The parking lot is a complete disaster it was a sheet of ice I flipped on my ass twice while trying to get my trailer out of the ice there was approximately three to six inches of ice everywhere the guy beside me trying to get his trailer out of the ice ended up having to leave it because the chain had about 4 inches of ice on top of it he was unable to break it free after I was returning the trailer I was unable to park it in the exact location that the employee wanted it because of the ice I did not want to slide around and damage either my vehicle or the trailers normally that I would have to pay for any of the damages to the trailers I was then called on my phone telling me that they were going to charge me extra for having to move the trailer I said that that was ridiculous and I would call you all about this so I did

- The van needed to be swept out. - TPMS Service tire light was on. - The app for self check in was very glitchy and took 40 minutes to check in. - Finally after self check in was successful, I had to go in the store to get the key and another 10 minute wait while the clerk looks me up in the computer. - Once checked in, there needs to be better directions of where the key pick up is located. - I don't think self check in is any quicker.

Very disappointing after having received excellent service at the Collingwood Uhaul rental recently. Here in Midland we found our trailer under 18” of snow and 2” of ice frozen into the ground. We needed to go home and get our shovel and a pick axe to clear all the snow and ice. The least that could have been be done was to make sure the trailer was accessible. This was not the case. Without the shovel and pick axe we would not have been able to use the trailer. There was no one at this location who was able to help. We were left to our own devices to solve the problem. This needs to be fixed! Uhaul needs to make sure that the equipment they are renting is ready to go when the customer shows up at the agreed upon time. Perhaps this location is not an ideal spot for Uhaul to be located. You need to address this issue as we live in a snow belt and are often faced with inclement weather.

What I wouldn't recommend to anyone is to use U-Haul at all. I ask for a 6x12 trailer, got a phone call 15 minutes after booking saying I can't get what I want at my preferred location, they did say I could drive 2 hours to get it. So I had to settle for a 5x8. Once i got there to pay they also charged my credit card for insurance that I didn't ask for.

There is 1 clerk for Gas Station and rentals. The locations doors were all closed when i arrived and other customers had called the police believing a possible robbery. The clerk was asleep or whatever once the cop got him to answer. The 1 day rental van i rented and returned on time with gas topped up and 34 km of mileage disappeared for 2 days and was then billed to me for additional kms and half tank of gas missing from what i returned it with. I had taken pictures and complained to Uhaul 1800 and they recified the charges. This is the second time i have had a very bad experience with this location

No one went over the truck with me to make sure I knew what I needed to know. The windshield wasn't clear when the sun shone on it. Didn't tell me that I had to return on a certain time just the day. Make people aware of the time not just the day.

Booked a trailer and no ball hitch was included in rental. Had to spend an extra $100 to buy one for a one time use. Rep at location said we can drop off at any location. We decided to drop off closer to home and they informed us we'd have an additional charge of the rental fee so we had to drive another hour out of our way back to the original drop off location. Our original “guaranteed” pick up day was also cancelled by uhaul so we had to pick up the next day. The whole experience was a big waste of time and money. Will no be issuing uhaul for any more rentals.

I tried for over a week to rent a truck. I finally had to settle on a cargo van, which meant multiple trips and a fortune in mileage. Wasn't fair to have to pay extra because I couldn't get truck that I needed.

Online, it said we could use the key drop box to return the truck at any time, so we went in the evening after the location was closed as we had work the next day. However, there was no drop off box to be found. We had to return in the morning which was a huge waste of time, and the staff were completely unapologetic. U-haul should ensure all locations have the key dropbox as stated on the website.

We had no issues with the pick up. However, we had issues with the 1st and 2nd guaranteed reservation in Oro Medonte and the 2nd location Orillia. While we did receive a discount on the rental and extra mileage, this does not make up for the time lost on the day of the move, or the time spent on numerous calls trying to find another truck available. Would I rent from Uhaul again, probably not. Would I recommend Uhaul to someone else, probably not.

I will never recommend Uhaul. I didn't get the equipment I ordered and the service provided by the uhaul representative that the midland dealer called, was less than understanding. Your corporate systems are a disgrace, while the local rep did the best they could. Your company needs help.

The lady and the gentleman we dealt with were both unaware of everything and rather rude. They DO NOT clean between customs nor check if the truck has been gassed or anything. Drove 6 km which somehow turned into over 11? Was extremely rude when I pointed out they never made sure the pervious customee had returned it with the gas required 7/8 of a tank. Apparently it's the customer's job to go back.into the store and tell them before you leave? Wtf!? Will never use Uhaul again if I can help it. Especially Midland Ultramar location.

After a dispute regarding KMs, owner of Ultramar canceled our reservation for a 15 foot truck for Saturday May 29 2021 out of spite screwing us on our move. Thankfully we had a back up plan so his stupidity failed. Will never use uhaul again! What a joke! Movers be ware and proceed with caution!!!!
