Randy SellersFix the website for after hour returns and returns in general, it’s awful. I spent 30+ minutes on the phone to get told a whole lot of nothing. Check your vehicles. A Truck with under 10k miles with no oil change and minimal gas is absurd. Especially when anyone with a brain knows its just an excuse to charge the next person for it. Also, massive false advertising. We rented for a $20 truck, purchased no additional equipment and spent $55. That makes no sense. At least disclose additional fees and advertise accordingly.
angel cruzOverall Customer service was lacking. The area was very crowded and I had to move other trailers to get to the one that i was assigned. Better communication would have been nice from the employee as well. He just was like, I think it's that one. Later while we were moving other trailers around, he finally came out and assisted. I would expect more from a location that has a sign posted on the register to be off your cell phone. Respect goes both ways.

Jorge CristalesThe trailer was not attached correctly to my hitch. The person attaching the trailer said everything was ready to go and sent me on my way. I traveled less than 5 miles and while unloading a sofa, the trailer came off the hitch hitting my car. We weee lucky were were not traveling down the road. Upon inspection of the trailer, the connection part was so rusted that it could not be tightened down... therefore allowing for the trailer to come off the hitch at anytime. I proceeded to tie the trailer down to the hitch and drive 3 miles back to the shop. I was repeatedly told the trailer was defective but that the manager was not there to proceed. I was given a new trailer to finish my short move. I returned an hour later and the manager and the employee meet us. They wanted to talk to us outside of the store ( away from other customers). They wanted to gregubd the amount we had paid for the rental. This was not acceptable since my car had done minor issues with it (that grey preceded to deny it happened from this incident). Ironically, they could produce pictures that they could not produce earlier. It was also insinuated that I was to blame...I was given a defective piece of equipment and I was treated very poorly. This was very dangerous!!!! I will be contacting Uhaul directly

mehegan morganThese people will STEAL your money. Flat out. The manager was making up rules that contradict each other as she spoke in order to validate charging me a gas fee.My truck was supposed to be returned with 1/8 tank so I fueled it and dropped it off. When I confronted her about the $30 charge the next day she said her employee found a discrepancy so they had to charge me. I showed her a picture that I took after fueling and she said, and I am not joking in the slightest, "You see this picture is showing a QUARTER, so there's the discrepancy". I was absolutely dumbfounded. She refused to refund and after 15 minutes of her apparently not understanding how to process information in real-time I had to walk away and hope there was someone else I could contact (not hopeful). She also told me I should be GRATEFUL that she didn't charge me an overnight fee because I returned the truck at ---7:01pm--- because the employee literally shut and locked the door as I was walking up and pointed to the drop box so I had to do it on my phone (all this despite the fact that the return window literally stated 7:30). Everyone working here absolutely reeks of "I've never had control over any aspect of my life so I abuse the minuscule about of influence I have at work". It's Pathetic. They were all short-tempered, rude, and vindictive. Even towards each other! The fact that this review is one of MANY saying the same things indicates that none of this was brought on by the particular circumstances of my interactions or even by the U-Haul business model itself which can sometimes lead to frustrations for people who don't have much experience with it. It is 100% the cause of these miserable employees spreading their own grief to anyone they're forced to interact with. So I will go out of my way to very loudly ensure anyone who even mentions anything related to equipment rental stays far, far away from this location. Do not give them business.

Had a good experience with Zae who suggested I come back for the trailer after loading the truck. The truck itself had a door that would shut correctly so it was a drafty 800+ mile drive.

David CloakI’ve rented from this location SEVERAL times in the last few years. I always dread it but it’s the closest with the right equipment. The manager is not usually rude to your face (at least to mine) but she’s definitely not customer focused. She makes up arbitrary rules like every van must have cdw and you can only avoid it by renting and checking in online. The equipment is not well taken care of and often dirty. We ve had to fix mirrors, seats etc. The employees turn over often. I rarely see the same one twice. This location is just terrible. The Google reviews are all super negative too.

Arthur CarrionI arrived at my scheduled appointment time (when my communication had mentioned to arrive within an hour of your appointment time) and was told the van I requested would not be available because I was there after hours. I didn’t feel comfortable driving a larger truck and without my friend accompanying me, I wouldn’t have been able to use your services because of this change of plans. The call center told me I should’ve arrived 15 minutes before in order to receive the van I requested but that was not clearly conveyed to me upon booking, and even if it was I think it is unacceptable that someone with a 7:00PM appt time should be barred from getting the equipment they requested when the store closes at 7:00Pm unless there is specific and explicit communication letting the customer know. Upon arriving to the location at 6:50PM, there was no employee to be seen and the lights were off inside the office, and had I known that I needed to interact with the office to get the equipment my experience could’ve been totally different
Caroline BoydWhen we arrived, the UHaul we were assigned had a homeless man sleeping in it. I guess they do not lock the vehicles... The only other truck they offered had less than 50 miles worth of gas left in it. The UHaul leaked when it started raining. The driver was soaking wet by the end of the drive. The people working at the store were kind and did what they could, but the equipment and general maintenance was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this location at all.
Kaitlyn DannInside of box van, floor is rotting away due to moisture intrusion. Cab was loud, not sealed to box. But, 120k+ miles on truck, so items to be expected. Staff was helpful and liked location. Will definitely rent here again.

Fred TorresI rented the truck for three days and truthfully I only needed it for approximately one day because my things were put in the storage that night of the rental. I returned the truck the next morning upon opening and wasn’t given the money back for the two days extra that I was charged for. Can I please get that money back? Thanks

Kenneth JonesI had difficulty with the ignition key. The guy at the desk said you just have to wiggle it. He was able to make it work and i drove off. Each time I started the truck I had to fiddle with the key until the truck would start. If I put the key in normally, it would not turn. If I put it in partially, it would rotate but not engage the starter. Usually after about 10-15 attempts, it would turn and start the truck, but it would fall out of the ignition switch.

I apparently looked confused at some point (I’ve never used a U-Haul or moving equipment before) because I was asked, “what’s the problem?” When she was showing me what I was supposed to take with me. What I had already ordered online wasn’t available, so I felt like I paid for things I didn’t get to use. The truck’s sun shield was broken, so it kept falling down and the manual window opener knob kept falling off every time I tried to roll down the window. I would definitely not use this location for another rental. I could deal with the mechanical defects of an old truck but the rudeness and condescension were unconscionable.

STANLEY V BARNETTMy goodness this location is not a good one. You can't even park on the property. There are so so many vehicles on the lot. I had a hard time finding the front door because big box trucks were backed up to the front if the building! The truck was not clean. I had to wipe it down because there was drool/spit on the window. Also the tire pressure light was on from the moment I turned the truck on. I was in a rush so I had to.make due but I doubt I'll ever come back to this location
Kendra MarshThe place is poorly run. At check out - forgot to return my license - showed me one truck - gave me keys to another truck - the check-out for my truck was wrong. The system in place is flawed and unfair! I'm given the keys and told the check-out form has all the info (gas level, damage) - but I don't receive the EMAIL with that information for 3-4 hours AFTER I depart. By then, I've filled the truck up back to where the gas gauge was when I left. Then, I'm charged for not putting gas in the car - AND EVEN WHEN I SHOW PROOF OF PUTTING MORE GAS into the truck (with receipts and Iphone/GPS/credit card evidence) - they tell me....tooo bad. You should have taken a photo of th gauge. So as a customer - no one told me I needed to take photos! No one. I now was charge extra for NO reason. Just a terrible system! And the employees there should be fired.
Eric VastagWe requested the 24/7 pickup and our truck was fully blocked into the parking lot so we couldn’t access it. We called customer service and got transferred between the 24/7 line and the scheduling line for 30 minutes and we’re eventually told the only thing we could do was wait until the store opened, so we lost a lot of time. Really awful experience
ROBERT TORRENCEThis time it was NOT at its best game. I'd give it 3 stars for today. They made my personal phone ring 18times in a row before they stopped re-dialing, and left me a voice message. Who answers unknown calls these days? Caller ID just gave the # calling, not the name or nature of the business. Once I heard the message, I called them right back and we took care of business. I recommend that staff, particularly the lady working the desk Nov 10 about 8AM learn to leave a voice message after the first call. And wait a short while for the call to be returned. THAT'S HOW PHONE CALLS FROM UNKOWN NUMBERS ARE HANDLED THESE DAYS. iT'S THE 23RD CENTURY. If no one returns the call shortly, then call some more.

mary larconwe dropped the truck 3 minutes after 3pm which is whgen I saidf I would bring it back and were charged an additonal 49.10 cents for a full day, had I indicated I wanted truck for 6 hours and not 4 the cost would have been the same, and no late fee could have been charged, this is an assinine policy

jeanne harrisCustomer Service was rude. Peaches is the manager and the way she spoke to me and others while there was not professional. She interrupted my transactions to ask a worker what he was doing in the office. My uhaul van was so dirty that my husband had to sweep the entire back out and wipe the entire front down with Lysol wipes. We found Visine, drinks, flower stems and buds along with trash in the front of the van.
