My rent was raised twice this year. That is not acceptable. I had that storage unit for almost 30 years and the person that owned it raised it twice. My rent was 79.00 whe you people took over. You people keep this up and you won't have anyone renting any units.

The only improvement made to the facility was replacing the storage unit door (not sure that justified the continuous price increases). Not well lit at night, U-Haul office is across town.

STEPHEN T | First ImpressionsLocation was clean and easy to get to, grounds need to be maintained better there were a lot of potholes leading into the entrance of back storage area and the back storage area had a lot of glass and debris around by unit doors. Storage location needs to be repaved as well, a lot of standing water after rain and the mosquitoes were terrible at dusk. I worked for U Haul about 15 years ago and this location was a private storage place so it's not my first time renting here but it was well maintained back then. Unit was clean and provided plenty of space for my belonging. There were a lot of dust bunnies, or pollen that ended up in my unit but like I said not my first time so made sure boxes were taped shut and any furniture was covered or wrapped to prevent dust intrusion. Love the ease of the process of renting rooms as well, on-line service is great and easy to navigate, check out was a breeze. Overall, I would rent again from here if need be. Closest location to my current house and being realistic on what the price is verses what I got, and it seemed a bit high but supply and demand drives prices.

Allison L | Online Move InHello, the facility is well kept except for the large hole that is in the back of the property. My unit was 230, I entered the parking lot and would turn right at the end lane to access my unit. When leaving, I would need to back up and turn around to avoid the huge hole near the light pole if I had continued to drive straight and circle the property to exit. A few times, I would turn left around the light pole, into the grassy area to avoid the hole.

My checkout process at the office went well, yet when I arrived at the storage facility I found that the unit was unlocked with stored items still inside (was not ready for rental). I waited for the office to open again the next day and tried calling the local number, was transferred to a central help line. I explained the situation and provided a call-back number. I received a call back from a location in another state which had received my concern via a transfer error. To this point I am still attempting to reach the local office by phone with no success.

I could not access the unit and eventually decided I didn't need it and ended the lease. After submitting emails requesting responses from management, I never received one.

JENNEL B | Overall ExperienceIt was by far the worst single experience I have ever had well use a new hall which has been tens of times. First off when I was trying to make the reservation online I was only given one drop off location which was about a half hour away from where I was moving to a big metropolitan city of Wausau Wisconsin. so I was tricked into thinking by the customer service rep that he would save me time by letting me drop it off closer to where I was unloading. I had to make three stops one to book the storage unit another to unload at the storage unit several minutes away about 10 minutes and then lastly, I had to go to a third location to drop the trailer off. The trailer I picked up was dirty the time it took to wait for the pick up location to find the keys to get the lock off the back of it so they could unload things they were storing was ridiculous. About a half hour. And again dropping off the trailer required three different locations, which is absurd. I am deemed disabled and had to disconnect the trailer myself and I'm still in pain because the drop off was not open on Sundays the day I was dropping off.
