The mice in the unit was kinda lucky it took us longer to move our things out due to having to look though everything.

When I addressed it with the place they lied and said they can't do anything about it, even though I had been paying for the insurance which covers vermin. If I could give this place negative stars I would, I will be posting about this on google review as well to so people don't make the same mistake of doing business here.

richard a | Overall ExperienceThis 'free one month storage unit' offer with Truck Rental has become a nightmare of 1/2 dozen HARASSMENT phone calls, texts, automated reminders for additional months' rental fees. An employee named Lance began asking if I still needed the unit 14 days before any additional rental fee would be due. I called & OFFERED to release the unit thinking they may have been full occupancy, and needed the unit for someone in dire need. NOTE: This was a completely selfless act of kindness that I was not obligated to do; yet not even a thank you for this special consideration. All of the nuisance followed; reminders of rent due……then after formerly releasing the unit in 3 different phone calls ( ALL intercepted by the call center; NEVER, EVER handled by the Greensburg staff. ) I am truly sorry to write such a scathing review because Will is a nice person who is trying very hard to manage TWO locations with little to ZERO sufficient manpower to do business ethically, and with prompt efficient service to customers. FYI: As I have suggested for over FIVE years now………..The Greensburg location needs to hire ONE dedicated, live, PHONE RESPONSE-only person ( no additional Truck or facility duties )to handle such immediate nightmare problems as I have experienced. I am formerly requesting a phone call to consider some solutions for equity, and restoration to make amends to our struggling nonprofit. Please have Will, or next level Management contact me ASAP. Helen N | First ImpressionsNot fond of the steep hill. Bad lication in terms of highway accessibility, in my opinion. My unit had a hole in the ceiling and a rat trap. It's an outside unit so it's not the worst thing in the world and I'm thankful that there was a trap placed there. The unit is pretty easy to access, however there are boats parked next to it so it's difficult to back the car up to the door. Have to park along the building. Not a dealbreaker, but would be better if the boats parked along the fence rather than sticking out, as there seems to be plenty of room to do so.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the inconvenience of having to travel 3 miles from the storage unit to the office to complete paperwork (it was not clear that we needed to go to a different location), and then drive 3 miles back to the storage unit to empty the items from the trailer, and then travel 3 miles back to the office again to drop off the trailer.

David H | Online Move InWell let's see... moved in on 4/20/23. Drove my RV to greensburg to make the reservation. Was given a spot and was told it was the last one. Drove all the way down to the storage facility, and the spot I was given had a rv already in the spot. Tried to call u-haul where I made the reservation to see what I should do but all their calls get directed to a call center that was no help and the district manager could not be reached. Didn't want to drive my RV all the way back to Greensburg so I left it there in another spot (probably someone elses). Drove all the way back to uhaul in greensburg to let them know that my spot was taken and was told to just park it anywhere. Now let's talk about the lot... the lot I was given is on a steep incline and very rocky and loose gravel. Why they would give out these spots for recreation vehicles that don't have parking brakes is beyond me but I was In a pinch and had to leave it there. So I use cement blocks that were laying close by to put in front of my wheels. I was looking for a storage solution to store my rv yearly when not in use but rest assured, I'll be leaving this lot after 1 month (already paid for it) for another storage facility. Go somewhere else.

Stuart F | Overall ExperienceRoad access getting down to the facility was terrible. It was narrow and very steep and not good for towing a trailer or boat. My space was very narrow and difficult to back in to. It was also on a rather steep grade. I only parked there one night and pulled my boat out and moved it to another storage facility. It took me 4 times to visit the office to cancel my contract because the counter was left unattended. Each time I waited for at least 10 minutes and no one ever came into the store to see what I needed. The staff is either very unattentive or it is severely understaffed. I would NOT recommend U-Haul to anyone.

The rental office is about 3 miles away from the unit storage area. There needs to be signing to let you know that and the folks that answer the calls at the 800# need to know what to tell the customers .

Uhaul.. We want your $ and don't care what happens to you & your families lifetime belongings. Uhaul needs to recognize the dynamics of todays' society.. And these organized-crime families/group/ teams..are well aware that this gets brushed under the rug.. And nothing gets monetarily replaced nor validations of these actual burglarized cargos & units... ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...families are losing completely everything & becoming homeless due to such acts of crimes. These criminals are communicating worldwide to spread the continued shenanigans that they get to "come up" .. So go ahead you can do it too..easy job..no consequences. This should NOT BE THE NORMALITY OF TODAYS ' LIVING! IF YOU KNOW BETTER UHAUL, DO BETTER!
Jamie C | First ImpressionsThe road leading to the facility was extremely steep and narrow, no signage for direction. The units are built on a slope, the area had been plowed, which left a very slippery surface to work on. We had to go buy salt, we both slipped and fell several times, a huge liability for U-haul. I was forced to buy u-haul locks for the units, what a racquet. The associate that rented me the units had an extremely hard time with his computer, didn't seem to know what he was doing, poor customer skills. I rented a 26 ft truck and an 8 ft trailer at the store on blanding blvd in orange park, the rental experience was relatively normal, I got the truck back to my step sons house, checked the truck, low on antifreeze, low on brake fluid, I had to buy antifreeze, the brake fluid is special, 5.1, couldn't find it anywhere. U-haul has a monopoly on the moving business, overpriced, outrageous "add ons. I hope never to use them again.

We almost got locked inside the gate due to uhaul having double access numbers and the gate not working properly. Please contact your after hours number and see what I mean. There's zero help. When you press the number you need the phone goes dead. I cannot use a facility with no after hours help. Management said there's nothing they can do. I feel that's not appropriate for the money we spend for a facility.

Tried to call the store for help and didn't get through 7 times, called roadside 3 times and got disconnected all 3. Finally went to the website link and submitted a report and had to wait for response. Ended up wasting 3 hours of my time because the storage unit roads weren't properly taken care. Then I got 1 load done by dark and the lights weren't on at the facility. I had to unload with a flashlight because there was no lights. Got stuck again leaving except I managed to get out without assistance that time. Not a fun time. If it weren't for the employees of uhaul being as awesome as they were, I would be a lot more unhappy.

I called the store, received the company wide system prompts, NONE of which answered, instead went silent on what seemed to be a silent hold. The third time I decided to wait, 20 mins later there was nothing, I tried the call button at the entrance gate but no response...I finally thought I would call the new store in Latrobe Laurel Mountain plaza and asked the manager if he had a special way to get through to the Greensburg store on RT 30. He tried and left them a message. By then the movers arrived at site. By happenstance there was a woman driving around the site. Turns out she was there helping another person with the same situation. She was actually able to make contact with the store manager by calling his cell phone. Finally they issued me another bin, after all the calls and all the time I was finally able to unload. Solution for ya, have an "urgent" line to contact within the prompt section. Someway to help those who just leased a unit, was paying movers by the hour and exhausted all options. That's all.

The driveway is steep and dangerous, and the office didn't warn me about this ahead of time. I emailed the office to request a callback which I never received. I called the national 1-800 number but they couldn't help. Poor service all around. Very disappointing.

Never got them finally got a unit. told your site i was out of unit. started gettiung late charges and theats of liens. finally got that resolved and i started getting late notices for the two small units that I was never in. the Greensburg manager never got in touch with me to try and resolve this.

Once they fixed the gate if you were three days late they locked you out of accessing the storage units. Customers should of been given discounts for all the time the gate was not functional.
