Please consider a means to compensate/reimburse charges when applicable. I had spoken to an agent to book our truck and trailer (as I'm slightly apprehensive to do "on line scheduling"). When I arrived at the pick up sight, they did not have either of the units I'd reserved. The owner was extremely helpful and courteous and I was patient and understanding... BUT... I needed both the units. It's Saturday morning. Not likely it was going to work out. But it did. I only had to add 16 miles round trip to my order, which of course I was charged for the mileage. My ask is, in these situations, it would be good business to NOT add the additional charges to the customer or provide a reimbursement. I was informed I could not get that reimbursement. So going forward, just a suggestion to at least not add additional costs that were not caused by the customer. Thank you.Franklin U.

The lack of communication was very frustrating. Due to a minor snow fall they kept backing up the delivery. Finally it was delayed a day and they still could not tell us when it would be delivered. I was told a supervisor would call me twice and it didn't happen either time! Will think long and hard if I ever have to use Uhaul again.Robert G.
The delivery team for this location is great and the manager, Spencer, was super helpful in getting issues resolved! However, national scheduling is AWFUL. First, for our move-out, I completed a quote at a first price and checked out but the base price jumped 150% (I'm talking about just base price per box, I know there are a lot of different fees and taxes). Then, even though the contract showed the correct dates, I didn't get a call from local scheduling on the day I was supposed to get a call because apparently the schedule had been changed by the national organization without notifying us. If I hadn't caught that mistake we wouldn't have gotten our U-boxes in time and the U-boxes would have still been there when the next owners were supposed to take possession. Then, when we moved in, I called to set up delivery of our full U-boxes and pick-up of the empty boxes. They confirmed the dates over the phone, but then, again, the schedule that was entered into the system was three days after the day I had scheduled to have the boxes picked up and I wasn't notified of this change. Local U-Haul people are GREAT! Super helpful, super responsive, very customer focused, pleasant to deal wit, but I would NOT use or recommend U-Haul because of how terrible the communication is between national U-Haul and the local people.Yanek K.

Our experience with U-Haul was an absolute nightmare. We arrived in the morning to pickup our truck, but when ready to drive off it didn't start. The employees realized that the catalytic converter had been stolen from it overnight, and after the other trucks on site were checked, it was the same problem with them. The two women employees stated that often happens due to being in a bad area. I asked them if they knew this was a ongoing problem then why didn't they check the vehicles in the morning to make sure they were in working condition when customers were coming to rent a truck. Before they knew the catalytic converter was stolen off the truck, they had already charged me for the rental, but then reversed the charges. They gave us an address for another U-Haul store to pickup another truck, but now that the charges had already been taken out of my bank account, and the charges take approximately 3 days to go back into my account, I now didn't have enough money left in my account to rent another truck. That left me with the problem of having to find someone to borrow the money from which was somewhat humiliating and hard to do. It took awhile for the employees at the U-Haul store to find us another vehicle and gave us the choice to drive to Post Falls, Idaho, or in north Spokane, which we chose because it was closer and we already had people at our apartment waiting to help load the truck. When we arrived home with the truck we noticed that it wasn't clean inside but by that time we had no choice but to clean it ourselves before loading it. After spending hours loading the rental truck, we still had to return to the main store to pick up a rental trailer, but after being delayed so long, we had to wait until the next day to get it. When my husband returned to the main store the next day to get the trailer, the worker there asked him to turn on the windshield wipers because he was going to spray down the window to clean it. My husband turned on the wipers but discovered they weren't working. so he drove the truck and trailer home at the advise of U-Haul, and U-Haul then contacted roadside assistance to come to our location to fix the wipers. The worker spent most of that day working on the wipers but still wasn't able to get them to work. We already had hotel reservations in Boise, Idaho to spend the night there but being we were still stuck in Spokane awaiting for the wipers to get fixed, we were forced to spend $266.49 on a hotel room, but were still charged $97.63 for the Boise hotel room that we were were unable to cancel due to the late notice.. The next morning roadside assistance sent out another worker to check on the wipers, but after 3 or 4 hours, we were advised that the truck needed to be driven to a shop approximately 20 miles away so they could work on it there. With each delay, we kept being told that it would be fixed in about an hour or so. After driving the truck and our own vehicle down to their shop, we waited approximately 4-5 hours while they worked on the wipers. Finally we were told the wipers were fixed and we were able to head out of town. It was already 6:00-6:30 before we left Spokane and starting to get dark, so we were only able to drive for approximately 3 hours and find a place to spend the night. This whole process of having to delay our trip caused us to have to drive the next day for over 8 hours so we wouldn't miss our next reservation in Salt Lake City, Utah. The stress of having to drive under pressure of making our deadline to each city caused us all much stress and it wasn't the fun trip we had planned for. When we first rented the truck the person at the rental company, said the truck had a bad exhaust leak, plus my husband said that the truck was not getting very good gas millage. And when we returned the truck to the U-Haul company, the worker there started it up and commented that "this truck needed to be fixed and that they couldn't rent in out in that condition". Yet we were given that truck to drive from Spokane, WA to Las Vegas, NV. I'm just glad we all made it safely to our destination. I will NEVER do anymore business with U-Haul, as this fun trip that we had planned for a long time, turned into a nightmare with all the waiting we had to do and all the delays. And I expect to get compensated for the extra money we had to spend on hotels and other costs we hadn't planned on.JUDITH B.

The General Manager, Nicole, was very rude when I explained my experience was not one I expected to have with them. She talked badly of me on Skype with a friend/customer and employee. She started to refund the month rental I was not supposed to be charged but when I tried to discuss the experience I had she pushed my receipt to the side and said she had other things to do and would get to me last. After my boxes left that store things were more pleasant and people were understanding and communication was better. I say use the other store down the road since moving is already stressful enough to be treated rudely makes it worse.TINA S.

The staff were very nice. We gave our zip code like four times and it was still inputted incorrectly. We were given a number to call to change the drop off. At first that number did not work but finally we were able to connect with a u haul person to move the drop off from 100 miles away to just a 1/2 mile. I was skeptical at first but, all worked out! We were concerned that when I arrived in office, a staff member approached me without a mask. I asked her to put a mask on and reminded her of the state policy and the U-HAUL posted policy. She turned and walked into the warehouse area without saying a word. The gentleman that waited on me wore a mask, and was helpful and efficient. I believe his name was Jacob. Perhaps its time for more staff training. The day before, I was in your office, and 3 out of 4 staff were unmasked. One of them put a mask on to come to greet meet. This was indoors. You are out of compliance for WA state mask requirements.gary V.

The regional manager, Nicole, was extremely rude, not helpful, and short with me regarding having to drop the trailer off at a location one and one half hours away from where I had reserved to drop off. I had just traveled well over 1100 miles across country and she acted like driving 3 more hours to drop off the trailer should be expected and that I was not being reasonable to question how could this happen when I had made these plans well in advance with no mention of an issue with the drop off location. Her short, snippy, rude attitude under the circumstances was very unfortunate since the people at both the pick up and drop off locations were just awesome!CHERI P.

Rented a 6 x 12 trailer online. My order was confirmed. When I arrived to get the trailer there were none available. Store agent didn't know why system allowed me to secure a rental when that size trailer was not on site. Agent arranged for me to get a trailer at a nearby location. Apparently the $50.00 rental guarantee didn't apply for some unknown reason. Unhappy with the delay in getting trailer but all worked out in the end.John M.
The gentleman that has helped me with returns is fantastic, great attitude and extremely helpful. Always comes out and greets you takes care of everything and makes it a pleasant experience without any hassle or stress. He is on the ball. Greatly appreciated. Extremely helpfull and professional. Always has a smile and gives your location a better experience makes you want to recommend your location. The genral manager also helpfull. The front desk may be stressed out it shows I know they may have more to do but the this gentleman made the difference in my opinion of your location. I had to ask the front desk three times where my truck was and got three different answers and no smile. I may not always be pleasant and tend to be more demanding then most however I feel that it's important to let you know that it does matter how you behave and treat a customer. This man deserves a raise for sure his attitude is amazing and his work ethic is solid.Amanda E.

I couldn't access my u box for over 3 weeks. When I tried to get a hold of the manager Nicole by coming in or through her workers i was unsuccessful. I eventually reached out to the call center about my missing box. The call center sent her a message and she called me literally yelling at me that my box wasn't lost....it just wasn't there when I went to access it, even though I would call or come in 24 hrs ahead of time and none of her workers were able to locate it. When I vacated my box and let her know I was leaving she explained that my box was somewhere in the back which I should have known but none of her own workers did. One of my worst experience with a manager ever. She never apologized ONCE, and YELLED AT ME. I will be leaving a review of my experience online. Nobody should go through this with their items, it was extremely stressful.melissa H.

Renting from Uhaul was one of the worst experiences I've had when it comes to convince and a easy plan move. I had to go to 6 different Uhauls to pick up my truck and trailer for my car. I had even called scheduling the day before to confirm the location and when it came to moving day I was delayed 2 hours going place to place trying to figure out where my uhaul was. While the people in the stores were kind the overall experience had left me screwed and pushing my moving day another day.CHLOE B.
