Halls are lit but almost no visibility in the units. Bay doors are often not working. At least once a week the music was blasting so loud over the PA that you couldnt even talk to anyone you brought with. The worst was when the cheap lock they gave me kept getting stuck. I drove to Target and picked up a temporary one fearing the one they provided might not open again ..ever. it was sort of an emergency fix to secure my unit until I could get a better replacement. Apparently u haul staff didn't approve of the only lock available locally in an emergency. SO THEY LOCKED ME OUT OF MY PAID UNIT FOR 3 FREAKING DAYS!!! ON PAID UNIT, no friendless note saying you need a better lock, we're just going to seize your property and take our lock back off wherever the f we get around to it? Def deal breaker. I'm not paying 200 a month for that BS.

This is a basic customer service need, to a long time paying customer that was not met when I needed you. Disappointed.

The folks at the store were ridiculously patient, and got everything ready to go very quickly. Really appreciate it!
MICHAEL S | First ImpressionsMy move out date was the 9th of March and key was rerurned. I was charged again for the next months storage fee on March 12th and it cleared my bank on the 14th. I called and explained to Uhaul that i had already moved out and returned my key and the person from uhaul said i didn't remove the lock and thats why i was charged but, she assured me she would take off the lock and reverse my storage fees. So far it has not been reversed.

Phil R | First ImpressionsI rented a unit online and was instructed to show up directly at my unit because it was ready (I had the unit number, door code, etc). I showed up and my unit was zip-tied shut. I called 3 different phone numbers, including the manager's (which was listed on the complex door) and no one answered, so I had to drive back to the office which was a few miles away. When I told the workers I couldn't get in my unit, they suggested I use a lighter to melt the zip-tie? I do not own a lighter, and I should have been notified I needed a scissors or another tool to access my unit (in reality they should have opened it for me ahead of time). It ended up being a blessing in a disguise because at the complex I felt uneasy. My unit was in the back corner, it was dark, it smelled, there were stains on the floor, and there was a sketchy man hanging out by the front door when I left. There was a couple waiting by their vehicle because they didn't want to approach the front door with him there. I did not feel safe there, and would NOT recommend renting at this location (both 250 N Hwy 10 and 126 Lincoln Ave SE) due to this and the rude customer service! I ended up closing my unit when I went to the office and the two men working literally laughed in my face when I told them I felt unsafe. Oh, they were also trying to close up a half hour before the store was supposed to be closed, which is unprofessional. Avoid this place!!

Only things I would change are the following: Extend access hours on the weekends to 11pm. Lighting inside the temperature controlled units was a bit too dim. Additional lighting would be appreciated. Also, having a broom to use would be helpful.
Jamie K | Overall ExperienceThe reservation was changed very last minute. Was very difficult to sign in to the uhaul account. Customer service was great, however, I did spend 30 minutes on hold over 2 separate calls. The online check-in process is ridiculous. You should inform customers when they choose this option that they need to be pre approved to complete the process. I spent a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes trying to get my truck. Which meant that I was unloading the truck at the end of the day in the dark. I had not planned that so didn't bring a flashlight with me.
James NI rated the drop off recommendation as not applicable because this location has not opened for business yet. I dropped off the truck and their just happened to be a Uhaul Representative there working on the building. He phoned the other location and let them know I dropped the truck off.
