Karra CrawfordEvery ubox service I’ve used in the past offered metal boxes… these were cheap wooden crates that we struggled to close. The customer service rep I spoke to for booking a month a head of time, was super nice… but a day before moving day we found out that the order never went through. I had no movers, and no one to deliver my boxes. Thankfully I caught the mistake and called again, and someone was able to have the boxes delivered on time regardless… but the emotional distress added to my move was horrific. I never want to use uhaul for anything again.

Asked for a future discount/credit due to the hassle of driving all around town, was told they can't do anything about it. Terrible company, won't use Uhaul again

Joseph MartinWhen scheduling, I chose mobile check in. I got an email that told me how to do that. When I arrived at the location, I followed the instructions specifically, but when I opened my order there was no "pick up my truck" option on there anywhere as the instructions said. It resulted in me having to wait for quite awhile because there were many people at the location when I got there.

It wouldn’t allow me to access my account but when I tried to make a new one it insisted my account already existed. If it wasn’t for the kind employees at the 82nd location, a stressful day of moving would have been made so much worse.

Making your customers figure our some bullshit that is complicated is bullshit. My apologies for the language. But it didn't work. If I'm paying you whatever amount of money. I should just have to drop the keys. Or I'm wanting to back charge you for your system not working and me having to self check out. So I'd my employees have to burn up more of my wage hours trying to figure out your self log in system than you should say for that. I want the old system. I park and I or my employees drop key in box. You fo the system log in. I can go to the other rental places that have a seamless system. Even your employees couldn't tell me how to navigate the drop off after 7 as they were processing trucks. Wtf. I'm not happy. I do not enjoy looking like a idiot. Fux your shit.

We had an issue with an error regarding the amount of fuel that was reported to be in the vehicle and attempted to discuss that with your staff. Your employee would not assist at all. I made the comment that I run a business and we strive to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and I would assume that U-Haul also has the same aspiration. The idiot I spoke with (he identified himself as John, but he may have been lying about his name) accused me of threatening him. Listen to the recording and you can judge for yourself. I didn’t threaten him despite him being totally inappropriate. The call was approximately 12:30 pm.

I finally had a little help from one person then to make matters worse there was no where to put a 26ft truck with car transport but 1 spot. Then a uhaul employee purposely parks multiple uhaul s around me and boxes me in. I only know that because I went into store and over heard him and another employee talking about it and laughing at me. Honestly I'm upset feel like I'm stupid and never want to go back. If I woulda just had a little direction or help it could have been avoided. But childish games made my uhaul return late and the rest of my stuff literally left in the rain down the street.

Robin RichardsonThe gentleman that checked us in got visibility irritated when I said I hadn’t been able to complete the move in electronically. When I made the call to reserve the unit I wasn’t told that a “round” lock was required, then because the unit was actually 2 units next to each other I had to buy 2! We ended up not needing the unit, never put stuff in it, or put a lock on it, and we checked in on the 10th, and checked out on the 12th, and got no money back. I called the storage manager, and never got a call back. The only bright spot we’re the 2 employees that helped us check out on the 12th, I could tell that they cared.

JODY GUENGERICH | Overall ExperienceWhen my family and I arrived to check in to our storage unit UHaul provided for the truck rental and 4 state move we had just done, we notice right away that the access was rough to get to the units. We walked in and the guy at the counter was never quiet and non responsive to questions and concerns and took over and hour to check us in and struggled the entire time and even though he was standing there with 3 other guys around that clearly had more experience, he didn't ask for help nor did anyone offer him help when they saw him struggling and our growing frustration and not knowing what was going on. By the time we got to the end of check in, the unit that had been reserved for us for over two weeks was not available and they were giving us two smaller units side by side which was not gonna work for us and not only that but the large unit for a 3+ bedroom home was up stairs and inside which was not feasible and the only way up was some rickety stairs on outside of building that were too narrow and had and awning that prevented any large furniture from getting up them. We canceled the whole thing and went down the street to Public Storage and their service and ease of access and timeliness far exceeded uhaul.

ROCK HUNT | Overall ExperienceGround level outdoor unit, appreciated very convenient drive up and simple access- However, to be helpful- seasonal outdoor maintenance use of leaf blowers regularly pushed debris, paint chips, dirt, and dust under my unit door and onto my stored belongings. Stored papers, furniture, textiles, equipment and art were all affected, with layers of dirt clinging to some vulnerable items. Not entirely unexpected, nor was I significantly disappointed... Thank you.

We alerted the office at once and for some reason it was not tended to and I received a voice message (thank you for that anyway) that I don't have a lock, and that is the reason why. I apologize as I should have made a temporary lock to secure it before leaving my things. I was on a time scrunch and decided to attend to it later. Jonathan went back yesterday and the latch was still not done. I believe the manager took care of it in 5 minutes. Now that, is the excellent part. I am grateful for Seth for helping with my move-in procedures, inspite of a few hiccups.
