Check to make sure the roll up door opens and closes properly without getting stuck in the ceiling of the trailer every time. Very difficult to close and could not close after dropping off after hours with the drop App- said take pics so we opened it again and took pics could not close at all lock stuck up in ceiling and had to call after hours remote guy in Arizona (Brandon) said leave it open it was fine. Very stressful at 7:30 pm and trying to just get home to Vancouver.

Was called and told to drop off at another location. The new location had just opened and took over 30 minutes to find the location. Called the Andesen store asked to return it where I rented it. They told me I could not return it to there store. I would have to find the other store. They blamed it on my iPhone was giving me the wrong directions but they could not help me with better directions.

My entire cache of worldly goods were stored at this facility for 2 1/2 years. When I needed to move, after a rough start (non-U Haul company), I switched to U Haul and it was a flawless process.

Not sure why they needed two additional contacts and why they had to call those contacts to confirm. You had my credit card number and that has a sufficient line of credit to cover the entire cost of the dolly. The dolly ended up losing a taillight during the trip which was quite inconvenient. Also, this dolly was extremely noisy. They had better dollys they could have provided, but they were unwilling to part with them. Future dolly designs need to have forward facing lights on the fenders so you can see the dolly at night.

I was overcharged on mileage because the person who checked the vehicle transcribed the last two numbers on the odometer (I was billed for 88 miles when I'd only driven the vehicle 52 miles). When I went back into the shop to get it addressed (immediately afterward), the person working the counter was extremely rude as said in a very condescending manner, "Did you do your pre-inspection), and it was only after I said that I did and I believe the person who did the check-in misread the odometer, did he go and double-check (and he was clearly none too happy to do this). He confirmed that the last two numbers were transcribed, and was a little more friendly afterwards. He resolved the issue, but his attitude could have been a whole lot more favorable up-front.

Back of the U-Haul had a really bad smell. Inside was not fully cleaned, food left on the floor. Was told there was a 10ft truck available then was told it was not, had to rent a 15ft truck. Checking the truck back in was the worst, had to wait outside for a good while. Not the best customer service either.

Moving days always are lousy, but Uhaul was the one bright spot, quick, competent, easy.

It was a little frustrating that it would have cost an extra $50 just for an extra hour of time, even though while booking the UHAUL online, I could have put till 6pm with no extra charge.

I reserved online, twice because although I requested a closed trailer it changed to an open one. The second time it changed pickup locations. When I got to the pick up location the trailer wasn’t there. They did have an open one and only charged me the lower rate of the one I originally requested. They also tried to charge me an additional $5 fee that wasn’t on my online reservation or the rental breakdown. They eventually pulled that charge. I had to go through the rental process twice because of a computer problem even though I went through the quick check out on line. Took me close to 40 min start to finish just renting the trailer. Frustrating!

The only issue I had was with the return. It was an after hours return. I was advised to follow the link from the original text from pickup. When I tried to return it said that the link had expired and had to call the after hour number. I was walked through the return for the trailer but fort the dolly it was unclear. Overall great experience. Love dealing with U-Haul. Ty

I booked online to pick up in Washougal, Wa. I got a call the day before pick up saying there was no truck available to pick up. I had to drive WAY out of my way to get the truck and take back. Asked to have a discount on milage and no one was willing to help in any way. I paid more in milage then I was supposed to since my reservation wasn't honored.

Friendlier, more personable customer service. The manager repeated twice “This is where we part,” with the time & body language that he could WAIT another nanosecond to be escape. The online review of trick was new process for me & I wanted to be sure what I was agreeing to. In the end my friend calmed my concerns. This manager interaction was the only unpleasant experience I had. However it was strange enough to cause me to pause when giving excellent rating overall. Using a 5 point scale, I’d say 4.5.
