We reserved a 10-foot truck the night before. We were called shortly before our arrival time and told they only had a 15-foot in stock. The truck only had a quarter of a tank of gas. We needed to put gas in in order to make it to Tampa and wound up putting in $25 too much. When we inquired about a gas credit, they told us ithey would only give us a credit if the truck was below a quarter of a tank when rented. We were also only supposed to be charged the $54 when we came in to pick up the truck but we're charged $154. The truck also didn't have windshield wiper fluid and seemed to struggle the entire time.MARY K.

I was disappointed that I had to go to two locations to get the equipment I needed for a simple local appliance move. I rented the truck in Seminole FL and had to go across town to St Petersburg FL to get an appliance dolly. A third location was closed. I was told that they were short staffed when I called them. Quite a bit of running around wasting my time and gas. The young man at this location where I rented the appliance dolly was very friendly and helpful and made sure that I received a newer dolly.Sid B.

Was informed vehicle gas was just under half a tank when in fact was just above 1/4. I took a picture with the app to dispute the amount of fuel and returned it with the same or more. They charged me 25 fuel surcharge because their records were inaccurate. Now I have to follow up with customer service. Also the trucks transmission shifted hard unloaded or loaded shaking the vehicle while in transit. Truck was clean.JAMES D.

I came in earlier to wait on while my husband gassed up the truck. I noticed a young man, Brendan I believe his name was, not helping a customer to the standard I expected. He was on his cell, when a lady asked about a bundle. He just sat there and pointed where they was located. When cashing her out, he made the comment that he had been there an hour and had yet time to himself. While she was paying, he put a phone call on hold which is proper. After the lady paid, he went back on his cell phone. I asked the lady if she needed help with the door, she responded yes, please. We spoke for a moment and we both agree in the past that the employees would help one out to the car with bundles. When I got back to the counter Brendan was still on the cell phone. Next, a nice young lady came back in and he asked her to take the phone call that was on hold. Brendan did nothing, while the young lady came out to the truck when my husband arrived to cash us out. I realized then that the cell phones are used to work, however, it didn't appear that Brendan was working on his cell. I asked the young lady her name, she replied Anna (not sure of the spelling). I recall the last time we were renting a truck that we worked with Joe. He too was courteous and very helpful, as was Anna. I believe this young lady deserves a raise. Knowing it's hard finding employees thus a raise for her and none for Brendan would be her reward for quality work, and no raise for him. He needs a refresher on what customer service really is to be successful.Cary V.

Great experience. Although I pre-reserved and provided all pertinent information and reserved credit card information online, it seemed the process was repeated in person. Other than that, rental fees were affordable. Associates were prompt & friendly. Return was even easier & quick. Overall it was a fine experience. The store customer service could've been more pleasant. Also I was called by Uhaul Customer Service the morning of the rental and told their were no trucks of the size I rented available and they tried to give me a way bigger truck than I needed/wanted. Yet when I went to the location, their were 4 of those trucks in the lot! I explained this to the man working there and he gave an attitude a out how they were rented for other people. I told him that I rented one for one hour and that's what I was taking. Even returned it early, but still that attitude that I was the inconvenience despite just wanted what I reserved since it was obviously available, that'll stick with me.ALEXANDER A.

The most important thing would be to make sure the manager does not cough in people's faces. The next important thing would be to keep the trucks better maintained. We rented one to drive across the country. The truck was in terrible shape. Even the windshield wipers were awful.GWENDOLYN G.
Although the amount of equipment available and staffing seems sufficient at this location my experience was sub par. I selected Mobil pickup, but upon arrival the site said no equipment was assigned to my reservation so I had to go inside, have them scan my license, answer some questions on the credit card machine and then pay again with my card. The vehicle was advertised as being clean and sanitized (due to covid times we live in) but was obviously not. The dash was dusty, the passenger seat had a handprint of dried mud on it as well as various small debris throughout the truck that wasn't vacuumed up. This truck also smelled like smoke and I noticed where there used to be a no smoking sign in the cab is now an advertisement for uhaul self storage. I vacuumed the truck when I got home and wiped it down with some Clorox wipes which after using 8-10 I decided wasn't enough based on how black they were. I proceeded with a damp rag and some simple green. The rags were black. This truck was disgustingly dirty. For being a 2020 model year with low miles it almost seemed like it'd never been cleaned. The truck also had a minor misfire so it doesn't seem like the vehicle has been well maintained either. Upon return to uhaul to return the truck the guy outside said leave the key in the door and we'll get to it when we get to it. No receipt, no confirmation that I dropped it off and am no longer responsible for it. I understand covid has changed the world and workplaces are short staffed, and staff in general are not happy due to being overworked and under paid. I'm leaving 4 stars because everything was tolerable to me except for the dirty cab of the truck.TYLER K.

please call me 727-678-2775 the truck had a drivers license left in it, the passenger seat belt was inoperable, the passenger visor fell off, when i rented the truck I told the center associate that i had to drive to orlando and back and he assured me that the cheapest was was to rent daily with mileage, and the total was 397 and i just looked up the charge form tampa to orlando one way is 91. I am extremely frustrated and will take other action if this is not resolvedROGER A.

26' truck was good. Gas mileage was poor @6 mpg. Trailer had low tire pressures and no running lights. Had to fix lights in my front yard after hours. Best part, had a tire blow out on trailer in Louisiana and only took 3 hrs from time I called to time I was on road again, GREAT!Michael A.
