Both the people who checked me in and checked me out were fantastic, little trailer worked great!! Thanks and will be back next time I need it!

Justin L.don't put the right information on the invoice at pick up, they ask me to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas,(standard procedure) they put ½ tank on the invoice but the truck has less than ½ tank at pick up. On the invoice at pick up said 18944 miles but the odometer read 18945.2 since you charge by the mile that's a ripoff.

Vincent P.Your communication with a human suck! All you get is a recording. The location phone number had me on hold for 45 minutes before I hung up. My husband has leukemia, and I am not supposed to be near people, I ended up going into the store.

Jerry M.I rented an 8' pickup. Part way through my use of the vehicle the 'Low Oil' message came on. I still had good oil pressure and was able to complete my task, but things like this are disconcerting and point to poor maintenance of the vehicles. I am not happy about this and it will factor into my future decisions to rent - or NOT rent - from U-Haul.

Matthew S.Make sure the uhauls get back in time. We wasted many hours because we were given a small van instead of a truck and had to drive back and forth to uhaul to finally get a truck when one was available(and still wasnt the truck we orginally rented for). Made our moving out and into a new home 20mi away very difficult. And took much longer. Also the ridiculous fact that we were charged for the van. And was only given a small discount.

Todd T.Trailer wiring had been pinched in the past and had not been replaced. This could cause non function on the road. Also could short causing blown vehicle fuses or possible vehicle wiring damage. One clerk at counter to reduce labor costs to corporate also results in delays and wasted time at the customer level.

John M.Make it easier to obtain receipts. My receipt only showed $70 some charged to my credit card when in fact the charge was over $1,000 which showed paid but I need a receipt stating when I paid the $1,000. I requested a copy and the manager said that I have everyting that i needed and clearly this is not the case.

DAVID J.I can't remember the black gentleman's name that helped me out but he went above and beyond. I was on crutches he was happy to hook everything up for me. The lights didn't work on the trailer so he called the manager out and they upgraded me to the next size up and then re hooked that one up. Friendly and courteous

David R.My only issue is that I was told it would be a $47 hold on my card, I had $89 on the card so didn't bother transferring more money since I was told $47 at the desk. It ended up being $123 hold, causing an over draft, and then the next morning after the truck was returned the night before earlier than the return time I was charged an additional $83. Currently my account is negative $120. That is very concerning since I was told the charge would be approximately$48.00, more if I went over the miles or if it needed gas, which I refilled the gas I used. I'm waiting for the overdraft fees to hit, because now a $50 truck is going to end up costing me $200. I understand that there is a hold, but I'm confused about the second hold, and why it ended up being double the amount that I was quoted..

Michael W.If you have a vehicle set aside for a 24/7 mobile check-in customer, then it shouldn't be blocked by another vehicle. Once a staff member got the other vehicle out of the way, I found that my truck was so closely parked to the one next to it that I couldn't properly inspect the side and had to make a guess as to if its condition matched the photo on the site. The mobile check-in was very glitchy and I had to take multiple photos of each thing, and it never scanned the location sticker when I returned so I had to go in and check out the in-person way anyway. Based on my experiences today, I will never do the mobile check-in/out again, since I ended up having to use the staff anyway and it thus ended up taking even more time--my goal was to take less time by doing it.
Michael M.The trailer did not have lights. During the pre-departure check, the employee only had me step on the brake and use the 4-way flashers. When I was driving in a rainstorm at 8:00 p.m. on interstate 81, I had a feeling something was wrong when two different 18-wheeler trucks flashed their lights at me and then passed me and tapped their brakes and then put on their turn signal hinting that I should exit. I did and in a parking lot of a tavern, I noticed I had no lights. This made for quite a harrowing continuation of the drive. I did use the flashers though to alert others that may be coming up behind me. When surrendering the trailer, Anthony checked the harness and noted that one of the 4 pins was missing on the trailer. I know mistakes happen, but the other employee should be taught to check all lights, not just brake and 4 way flashers.
THOMAS G.Van was warmed up and ready to go. In-person check in procedure was less than 5minutes. Staff was masked appropriately. Witnessed an elderly confused customer trying to buy wardrobes and the staff expertly reviewed the customer's need, helped them select the style of wardrobe and get the supplies to the customers car between my Check-in electronic prompts and payment prompts without making me wait at all. The consistency of the Uhaul experience at this Vestal location is why I continue to return to them everytime I or my service groups have a moving need.
