Good experience. Pickup and drop off were fast and efficient. Hook up assistance by staff was prompt and courteous. 6 x 12 trailer towed well behind Ford F-150. Dealer location is very confined, with tight quarters but they are doing the best that they can. They are in desperate need of additional space. I would use them again.Steven E.

Staff was over worked, wearing too many hats to provide good customer service. Equipment failure ( broken gear shift) was brought up and was meet with an â€˜oh well, we will fix it' comment, nothing about compensation or rental discount or any conversation pertaining to the quality time of the rental. The location opened up @9:05, with 8 people waiting. Only one person at the front desk. The guy was swamped. I reserved a 5x8 trailer, but was initially given a 8x12 trailer, which my Jeep renegade bottomed out with. I was able to get the proper trailer 1 hour after arriving on site.Brandon M.

Someone dropped their truck off right in the middle of the entrance/exit. My car is blocked in and I can't get out and I have to work in the morning. It clearly states NOT to block the entrance/exit and there's plenty of room in the backâ€¦this is very frustrating and inconvenient.Dante M.

Nothing Kegan ( I think that was his nsme) called ladt night to saynthe 10' truck was in the repair shop & asked if the van would, do it wouldnt as we needed theextra height & length than a van. He called all over Des Moines to other uhauls to see if they had a 10' truck & no one did. He offered me a 20' truck for the same price. In return we got the truck back 1& 1/2 hours early. He is a great guy & very customer service oriented. You're lucky to have him as an empyee. Has a very easy going personality even though there wete probably 10 people to get their vehicles & boxes. The traffic flow was poor. THe attendant did not screw down the clasp on the ball hitch and as a result the trailer came loose and did $4200 damage to my car. The were pretty good about giving me assurances as to that it would be taken care of but I have not heard from UHaul yet.wayne F.

This is not the location's fault, but my return location got messed up in your system. I set it up as Urbandale IA from the very start of my reservation. Later on I noticed my return location had changed to somewhere else in TN. I called U-Haul and they told me they saw it correctly, even though I was still seeing it incorrectly set when I logged in. Then I returned it to Urbandale and sure enough, they weren't expecting me. It took a few minutes for them to call U-Haul and clear it up, but it was not a smooth, stress-free transaction for me. One other thing. I competed the check-in process several days before pick-up and then the next day I received a "check-in" reminder text from U-Haul. This is confusing to a customer. Did my check-in NOT work? Do I need to do it again? Will there be trouble when I pick up? You should fix this if you want to really satisfied customers in this modern day and age. The guy that helped me on Tuesday, 7-19 -22 at 5:30 was extremely helpful, polite and professional. The appliance dolly that we wanted to rent was not available. However, he found out that one wound be back in an hour. He called me to let me know that it had been returned and we were able to get it that evening. Very grateful for his customer service!!Ann B.

Despite being an online reservation and pickup, I was forced to go inside the store to pickup my key, where I waited for 10 minutes before being helped. There was only 1 employee who was clearly overworked. Once I finally got the key, the dolly I ordered wasn't there as someone hadn't returned it. Why does this store only have ONE?! Additionally, the pictures of the truck on the inspection were taken many months ago as indicated by snow in the picture, despite being July. How am I supposed to believe those were accurate or a true representation? I was thoroughly disappointed by U-Hauls policies and practices.Benjamin D.
Maybe ask if the customer need a ramp to pull the Dolly up for heavy items that customers are loading up just a suggestion but besides everything was good.. Excellent customer service and good price for Rentals will be coming back & Giving referrals to come do you guys 😊Julie J.

The manager cheated me by asking me to fill it up all the way and indicated that I would be refunded any excess fuel over the 1/4th level. That was not true. I am deeply disappointed. Cheap and short-sighted.Atul M.

The people helping were really nice. The one gal was training so she was struggling with the computer but the gentleman came back over to help. He did forget to grab the blankets for the truck so I had to go and ask for them again. All in all clean store, nice people, relatively easy check in and check out process.Lynn A.
