Quick, ready to go. Drop off was a snap. Trailer did the job. Would recommend getting a trailer hitch installed by them. Trailers are a fraction of the cost of a truck rental, but very spacious. Will go back again and again.Jon A.

The main Uhaul Website was very slow, first directed me to Axeman site (where there were NO trailers or vehicles to rent), then took many slowly loading screens to ask a multitude of irrelevant questions. The service at Benner Pike was excellentâ€¦ courteous, efficient, and quick. Once you get past the website, all is good!Anthony C.

Was told when getting equipment to have it back before close of business the following day. Received a phone call at 900am the following day saying the equipment needed to be back since it was rented to someone else at 1100. Was told to call back and let them know when I would be returning the equipment. Tried to call back was transferred to corporate call center not the local company. Tried to tell me to extend my rental until 12pm it would be $56 additional. A full day rental equivalent. I told them I didn't agree to the charge. I returned the equipment at 12pm. Was asked if an email receipt was ok. I said that would be fine. After driving an hour back to my home found that they had charged me for 2 full days rental for only having the equipment for 15 hours. Tried to call to talk to someone about this. Only could get ahold of corporate call center with a 98 min wait. Had other plans than sitting on the phone for over an hour and a half. Will not be utilizing this service again and will be calling on Monday.John D.
absolute garbage staff. I made a reservation for a 15-foot truck for 8 July 4 days before i needed it. The next day i received a call saying the reservation may change. I instructed the personnel that the vehicle and time may change but the date could not as i was taking a 3 hour public transport to get there. Tuesday night i received an email saying my reservation had been rescheduled to 7 july. Unfortunately i did not see this email (because moves are chaotic enough) until i was on my bus ride on July 8. I made several calls and through much hassle was given a 20-foot truck. When i arrived the staff charged me more than i was quoted due to the truck change even though the individual on the phone said i would not experience an up charge for the unwanted increase in truck size. As i was checking out the attendant could not find the keys for the 20-foot truck and was forced to give me the only truck they had left which ended up being a 15-foot truck. The exact truck i asked for in the first place but was told was unavailable. I understand this story may be confusing and dizzying but that is the exact reason im pissed off as a customer. I got exactly what i wanted but i had to fight tooth and claw for it and even still it came down to your employees losing a key. Furthermore, is the Uhaul company unaware of the definition of reservation? How can it be reserved but then not be there? And what company changes the date on a reservation? How is that useful in anyway? either the truck is there and reserved or it is not and cannot be reserved. Whatever is going on with your company (nation wide it seems) needs some new leadership to figure it out. I legitimately will never use Uhaul again and proactively warn any friends from using them in the future. UHaul lost a customer but gained a mortal enemy.JEFFREY G.

We were incredibly disappointed to find out we were being rented a bigger truck than we had requested. There was no communication about the size increase until we arrived at the pickup site. We rented based on the need of our trip and the space we had to load and unload. The larger size made our move much more challenging and I will not be recommending U-Haul rentals to anyone nor will I be using them for box truck rentals again in the future because of that.Trent B.

Uhaul all together was terrible to work with. My first experience was great but the last one was not. They could never give me a clear and definitive answer on where I was picking up my truck or what size it would be. If I reserved a certain truck size, that truck should be at the location that I requested. They shouldn't be able to give away a truck to someone who just walks in the door over my reservation. Won't be using uhaul again after all the trouble they caused my wife and I.BENJAMIN H.

The truck we picked up was dog tracking pretty severely down the highway. When we called a technician to come check out the truck, he determined it was not road worthy and we needed to get a replacement truck from another location. It was disappointing that we were given a malfunctioning truck for a trip of 1000+ miles and then needed to drive an hour away to get a better maintained vehicle.Samantha J.

Every uhaul employee I spoke with gave different answers, different prices, I didn't receive emails with codes or even a contract until I sat on hold for hours trouble shooting. I paid for moving help including packing the box but uhaul scheduled it wrong. Ended up paying almost 50% more than I originally expected. In the end it would have been cheaper, easier and faster to just hire a full service moving company. Luckily the moving companies hired on each end were flexible and beyond helpful or this would have been a complete nightmare.Brandy H.

The direct customer service was good. Both in store and on the phone, the digital service s is not successful. It wouldn't let me reserve my truck online and didn't provide reasons. Hindsight was they didn't have trucks for 48 hours. It should prompt guests as to why something can't be reserved so that we can adjust on our own. Drop off service did not work either. Even with location service turned on correctly on my phone, it would not processCURTIS S.

My comments apply to UHAUL traffic management, not the Benner Pike location. This specific experience with UHAUL was my WORST ever treatment as a customer by a rental agency. I made a reservation for a pick up truck at least 6 weeks in advance. Based on this reservation, i made specific weekend plans that included the use of the rental PICK UP TRUCK. Two days before my scheduled pick up, i was notified that my reservation was moved to a different location???? what is that? secondly, the new location did not have any pick up trucks. only box trucks?? what is that? terrible customer service to cancel/move/and substitute a reservation that I completely disagreed with. all my conversations with UHAL traffic were recorded. THIS IS NOT BENNER PIKE. THIS IS UHAUL TRAFFICE responsible for the mess that was created for me. Hopefully, i get a satisfactory response as i have not received one yet from UHAUL TRAFFIC.Michael L.
