I signed in online, and the truck I was given was already assigned to and taken by a different customer. As a result, it took about a half hour to get my truck, and then I didn't get my furniture pads/blankets. I told the staff about this when I returned the truck, and they said those furniture pads would be refunded and removed from my bill. It was still on the receipt emailed to me, and I haven't gotten a refund.Brandon B.

Rented an auto transporter from this location, employee helped set up the trailer on my hitch and ensured everything was properly hooked up. Upon dropoff, another employee promptly helped with unhooking the trailer from my vehicle. Great service all around! I'm deducting 1 star due to the location, it's not in the easiest spot to navigate to/from, and there is little, and crowded, parking available to use during the checkout process.Matthew D.

This was the worst Uhaul location ever. The customer service was poor and so was the communication upon staff. I've been to many Uhauls, and this was the worst. I was told I could park my vehicle in a particular spot. I asked permission twice. I was told it was ok. This location towed my vehicle from their lot to a side street (without my permission), far from the curb. The cashier/front desk person yelled stating I was wasting his time and that if I didn't calm down about them touching my vehicle he wouldn't give me my recipient. This person also continued to be rude and short with his comments. Stating â€œ I am tired I don't have time for this!â€ As a long time customer of uhaul this honestly was so upsetting and a terrible experience.Ernestine W.

Unfortunately we had to pick up our truck after hours so we did the 24/7 pickup option. We had trouble locating our truck. It wasn't conveniently parked . It was parked behind another truck far over in the lot. Only had a little space in front and behind vehicle. Took several minutes to get truck out. (This wasn't as bad as the person picking up their truck at the same time. His was parked 3 trucks in and surrounded by other trucks . He was told to wait 2 hrs for someone to come move trucks) Neither of these trucks were ready for pickup! Our truck was dirty. Had to wash windows so we could see. Luckily the interior and storage area were clean. The 24/7 pickup option was not as easy as claimed. Also no customer service person called us the day before as promised.Anne D.

We were only outside this facilitiy to drop off our rented U-Haul trailer. The young man who assisted us was friendly and helpful. We needed to borrow a tool to remove an item belonging to us and had forgotten to take off before returning the trailer. The young attendant found the tool and we were on our way!CAROL D.
The process is never as smooth as I expect it to be. I use the mobile app to simplify things, but have to stand in line and re-enter all of the info with staff when I check in. And not sure why I have to photograph and scan my license each rental when it's already been uploaded via the app. Not life or death stuff, but it's never efficient, save for the after hours drop-off, which I prefer. Inventory on the mobile app hasn't matched inventory at physical location my last two rentals (in Sept) so had to adjust on the fly.RANDY B.

The latch on one of the rear doors of the van we rented was stuck closed. The handle would not release it. When we got to the location to load the van, we were unable to open both of the rear doors. As a result, we were required to load the large item (sofa) we were transferring through the side doors, blocking the parking lot. Some very long items (not ours fortunately) simply could not be loaded through side doors. For us it was an inconvenience. When we reported this upon returning the van, the attendant assured me that she knew about the problem with that van. (She was not the attendant who checked us in, though.) Good business practice would have been either to fix it before renting the van or to at least notify me and ask if it was a problem before renting the van.Joel M.

Only one guy was there. But when I made the reservation I requested to pick up my uhaul from a location miles closer to me and that didn't happen. I had to drive to a crappy Part of town to grab it. While driving it, itv was very shaky, I could tell some thing was wrong but driving on the highway I didn't want to pull over with a 26ft truck . Their was a sticker telling me to turn off the tow/haul button but it doesn't say where that button is. Figuring out later that button didn't matter, the ride was just shaky and uncomfortable driving. The seat sat too low, not adjustable. I would not recommend driving this unless you have experience with some thing similar. I drive school bus and now I know i prefer it.Krystal B.

I made a reservation and said I wasn't sure if I could drop it off at the same location or in ft worth, this is a 6X12 trailer, they said just put this location because it needs to be filled out, and you can call and drop it off wherever you need to. LIE, they charge you $1000 to drop off a 6x12 trailer which they have probably thousands off, at a different location than you initially put, so ALWAS put a location that you are DEFINITIVELY going to drop it off at. I tried to talk to the Customer service, but she was extremely rude and just said "READ YOUR CONTRACT" I have used uhaul any times and this is the last time I will ever use them.TIMOTHY F.

The rate you guys gave me was wrong. I rented the 10' truck and you guys charged me 39.90 instead of the listed 19.95, and I also only got the base safemove insurance for 14.00 but was charged 28.00 for safemove plus. This is a scam and I am very unhappy.Benjamin V.

This experience was a disaster. UHaul rep Anthony made several misleading comments. Originally told me I could rent the truck for 4 days for $89. When I arrived to reserve the truck I enquired if the deal was still available. I was told it was. When I came to pick up the truck, I was told the deal was for a trailer; not a truck. At this point, I was told my mileage would be capped at 200 miles when I returned. I had told this location I needed the truck for 3 days. On the way to our location, I got a text from UHaul stating the truck was due back later that day. I had to call UHaul and was told I could have the truck for 2 more days for an additional $67. I had no choice but to agree or be charged with vehicle theft. When I returned the truck I told the UHaul rep about the 200 mile deal. He stated he would talk to Anthony and make sure I got it. I left thinking UHaul would honor this agreement. They didn't. I got the bill the next day with no discount. I returned to this location to enquire about the bill. Anthony was hostile and abusive and stated he couldn't change the mileage. He gave me the name and number of a local rep for UHaul. I called this number and left a message. No one called back. In summary this location makes misleading statements and is hostile to customer. I would give them zero stars if possible.DAVID P.

I had my hitch installed on August 7 and my muffler started making a rattling noise, I called uhaul back and they told me it wasn't their fault because they never touched my muffler so the best thing for me to do was take it to a muffler shop so I made an appointment next door at meineke and they hooked the heat shield back up and the noise stopped. 1 week later, the noise comes back and I take it back to meineke, they took a better look at my muffler and told me whoever installed my hitch forgot to screw in a bolt and now it messed up my gasket and now I'm out 130.00. Uhaul and their workers needs to own up to their mistakes. If they would have just told me to bring my car back in so they can take a look, all this would have been avoided!Cha L.

The customer service was horrible. No one even greeted their customers. The manager was so rude and the teller can't even do basic math as I was paying. No one was nice to me. Then they called to rush me to return the van right away because they rented it out already for another customer when I said I was going g to extend. We use to rent trucks or vans all day because moving is not easy! 4 hours is not enough time. This is by far the worst uhaul I rented from when it comes to customer service! It smelled like stale cigarettes inside the moment I opened the door. The transmission was not working properly and I did not feel very safe driving it. The acceleration was very weak and inconsistent, and the gears did not shift properly at all the entire time. The employee gave us a key for one and as we were looking around for it another employee gave us a different key and said â€œI don't know why he gave you that truckâ€. So, we were then directed to a different truck and told we would be emailed a new contract? So the different truck we were given doesn't work properly..? It was barely even touching a quarter tank when we turned it on. We therefore had to get gas right away and somehow guess how much we would be using. As I was filling out the form at the beginning where I input the starting mileage, it told me that I would only have 4 hours with the truck. My original reservation was for 10 hours. Which reminds me that my original reservation was also supposed to be at Mr. tire in northeast minneapolis at 10am, but when I called in the morning to confirm, I was told that they were overbooked and that I would have to go to St. Paul at 3:30 for a truck. So, getting back to the form I was filling out; before I submitted it I spoke to the store employee to make sure it's okay we kept it longer, like until 11pm or so, and he said as long as it's back before they open the next day it would be ok and that we can return the key in the drop box. We arrived at about 11:30pm and there was barely enough space to even pull it into the lot. We absolutely did not park it where it was supposed to be because we physically couldn't. We had our car parked in a designated customer spot that I confirmed with the employee we could stay in.. and it was blocked in. We had to pull over a huge concrete curb and through some grass to get out of the lot. I filled out the form at the end and then it was trying to charge me for 2 days instead of 1. There is no reason I should be charged for a second day. After this experience I am extremely hesitant to ever rent from U-Haul again. From the moment I booked a reservation everything was unreliable. I hope that my experience can help things actually improve.Cassandra H.

My only complaint was there is very limited customer parking available so I had to park around the corner before coming in but overall this was a very pleasant experience. I do want to call out the employee who checked me in at pickup time - the location was fairly busy which is not uncommon but the representative at the counter (name tag said Anthony Duke) was extremely quick and efficient at getting people moved through. Moved quickly through the process and had a unique ability to multi-task while giving each task complete attention. Mr Duke's efforts made what I thought was going to be an extended process go very quickly.Michael V.

The truck was a piece of junk. It had 114,000 miles on it and had obviously been in an accident based on the physical condition. The engine ran poorly with no acceleration. The drivers seat was torn and worn out so badly that I leaned to the left for the entire 7 hour trip. I have used UHAUL before with no problems but will have to seriously consider if I should use your service again. Thanks for the back ache and incredibly poor experience.David N.
