Over charged from what rate was discussed and when I came to pick up the truck the guy sped out of the parking lot with it. When I went in to all the other guy if that was my truck he said yes. I asked if he was getting gas or something. “ no personal use” unbelievable

Everything went so smooth! The truck was all hooked up to the tow & was nice & warm when we got in. The nice man who told my husband & myself how to hook everything up before we towed our car was exceptionally nice! We were confident that we knew what to do once we arrived to hook up our car. In trying to do contactless check in, I was given the wrong truck number which meant lost time for the move and way too long in sub zero weather. There are way too many hidden charges-- 39.95 is so deceptive and charging 4.50 a gallon for gas is just plain gouging.

I found damage on the van 30 miles east of St. Paul, but I sent a picture of the rusty dent on the roof, indicating it was old, and its related broken plastic trim piece to the store manager, and he noted it as previous to my rental. I did not get charged for it, so I'm happy.

I was invoiced for 1 mile over the 255, but charged $1.43 instead of $.43. Returned truck properly cleaned with 1/2 tank of gas MORE than I was given. Maybe I should send UHaul a bill for MY cleaning fee and extra fuel. Very disappointed with this ridiculous charge.

Our reservation had been changed from Brooklyn Park to Hwy. 280 in St. Paul. When we arrived the manager was horrific. When my husband told him we were there to pick up a trailer for a 12:00 noon reservation, the manager told him that NO reservation ever has a time on it (what???) and that the trailer we were there to pick up would not be there until 1p. When my husband told him we definitely had paperwork showing a 12:00p pick-up, the manager told my husband he could either wait in our car for the trailer - or “just leave”. Although our state has a mandatory mask policy in place, the manager was not wearing one. We waited in the.car, actually trying to find a different location to rent from (we did NOT want to give them our money), when a young man came out and said we could drive to University Avenue in St. Paul and pick up a trailer. We left and went to the new location. The team there was excellent and out drop off in Knoxville was excellent. Very unfortunate to have had to deal with the manager at the location on Hwy. 280.

Charged my card before telling me the hold amount of $175 and the actual hold amount was $250. If a certain card shouldn't be used the customer should be informed. Not everyone has $250 to put on hold.

U-Haul needs to get the picture-taking feature that it requires its customers to use return vehicles after hours working on ALL mobile phones. It has not worked for me for the last few years!

When I made the reservation I gave everything necessary to complete and pay for it. When I went to pickup my van I had to give them all the info I had given over the phone. The only info they had was my name date and type of vehicle. Staff was very polite.

Clean and well maintained...there are degrees of this. The cargo van I rented had the low tire pressure on - probably a faulty sensor, but on it was. OK, as clean as I would expect it to be :-)

Tried to do a remote pickup through the app. Could not find the truck in the lot because the employees had it in the garage. We really did not want to go into the location, but had no choice.

Second weekend in a row renting a truck for moving, I had the same sales person and She was so delightful to work with. I am sad that I am moving from this city now and won't be using this location. Truck needs attention: 1. strange noise coming from drivers side front wheel well......suspension, 2. unusual clicking noise coming from drivers side rear end, maybe fuel pump....lasted for about 20 minutes after vehicle had been parked not running for about 20 minutes with blinkers on.

I appreciate the staff giving me a credit for the low fuel. It did stress me out a little to start the trip that low. Otherwise the process was very smooth, including the online reservation process and online check-in using the U-Haul App. The 15-foot truck also turned out to be exactly what we needed. Thanks.

Skimming profit here at this location. Gas gauge listed 7/8 full at pickup and actually was below 3/4 tank. I did not request or want or need a dolly or furniture pads, yet they were put in truck. I never used them yet charged $10.00. When I complained he said pads were dislodged from fixture so no refund as charged. All unacceptable.

The lower lights did not work on the trailer, only the upper lights. A 18-wheeler truck driver informed me that the trailer lights were not working properly. Fortunately, I made it to GA safely and without any citations. I am concerned because the Uhaul rep checked for the proper maintenance of the lights and gave me the thumbs up that they were working properly. Unfortunately, they did not function properly.

My complaint is with the web interface. It was difficult to collect the images requested and advance while attempting the online checkout. Otherwise, I appreciated being able to collect my clean rental without human contact. Oh, except that the blankets and dolly were not IN the vehicle, requiring me to speak with an employee who quickly and cheerfully provided them.
