I live in immediate Cutler Bay Area. The service this location provides has become invaluable. Very easy to pick up a vehicle for use/ easy return process. Very well priced for its usage, provides a big savings.

Normally I don't take the time to comment on these surveys but when I first returned the pick-up truck, an older employee wearing glasses and a safari type soft hat was SOO condescending and rude, that I raised my voice and got angry. He asked me several times in several different ways if I felt the bed of the truck was clean. I told him I did sweep it out and it was about how I received it when I picked it up. He went on to point at a sticker on the rear window of a $25 cleaning fee and also saying in a nasty tone that he was going to have to clean the bed. I said, I thought it was clean enough and was unaware that it had to be returned "cleaned". So I took the truck to a car wash and paid to have it cleaned. And returned with the truck where someone else, who was much more polite helped me with checking in the truck. There was no need for the first employee to have such a fowl attitude from the get-go. He could have said in a much better way that truck needed to be cleaner to avoid any additional fees, and I would have apologized and gone out to get it washed as I did. But instead, his rudeness will have me sharing this incident and looking elsewhere when I need to rent a truck. His tone was nasty and unacceptable.

I had a very bad experience with the first person available at the counter , I don't have his name , he was sit in the middle of the 3 positions that day, he was very rude , un professional and lacked of manners and skills to treat customers. He was on the phone after he finished I approached his window but he ignore me for a while and instead of greeting me he made a sign with his fingers , then when he was ready he made another sign with fingers to get closer , that seem to me totally unprofessional so I said to him :” I m a customer , and can use those signs to your dog not with me” and he reply to step out that line and go to another representative. I find that behavior was totally Inappropriate.. That person is in the wrong position or need to be educated and trained . You can reach me for more comments but I,m sure that you can locate that employee and also look at your security videos. ThNk you

If a vehicle is damage with little items like that it should be noted before the vehicle is taken by the renters and brought with a attendant to look over it's not the clients job to do all this research to protect them self

The customer service when calling the 800 number is the worlds worst. I call the day before i was suppose to pick and asked about picking up that day. grace said NO we dont have that truck here. I said how about another size, she I dont know why dont I just call the location myself. Then I called the 800 # ask for a receipt for the $80.51 refund that was due to over charge. Becky the manager said that she cannot that I should call the bank , give a ref# and the bank would tell me when about the refund. Go to the location do NOT CALL THE 800#you will not be happy

Customer service left a lot to be desired. I paid $35 extra to be allowed to return the trailer to the store where I had rented a pick up truck. When I attempted to return it in the Doral, Florida store, they told me they could not accept it. I paid for nothing. They didn't even attempt to accommodate me at the Doral store or the Perrine store. Thumbs down Uhaul!

The Pickup truck I rented was very nasty at a times like these were faced with with covid-19. Filthy inside, i had to get hand sanitizer and paper towels from my vehicle to clean the steering wheel and components that I had to touch. I also was due a refund, I haven't received yet for mileage. The person that checked me out told me he was sending my receipt to my email and he hasn't done that either. I'm so displeased with this location, it used to be a very nice, decent place to rent from. I don't know what happened? Must be management!!

When you know a customer only drove 4 miles you dont charge them for 20 miles worth of gas. Ive always used Uhaul but this will be the last time. Customer service at the location was also terrible.

All people that we talked to when bringing back the vehicle are completely rude and incompetent. This is our first time renting at uhaul and are not aware of all policies but everyone in this location just starts screaming at us and treating us like shit. They don't have customer service skills. We went over the miles we had put in on the contract and we didn't know we had to fill up the tank so we asked if we are gonna get charged extra and the first guy said just started screaming at us instead of properly telling us that we should fill up the tank before the return and after we filled up the tank another guy came in screaming at us saying we went over the miles and so we asked if we are gonna get charged extra because we notice that we had already been charged in our bank account. But instead this guy said that “everyone plays that game with me and it never works” like we are trying to trick him into something. This type of treatment is unacceptable. It felt like we weren't being treated fairly and they come with a theatening attitude.

I needed to extend the hours of usage of the truck I had rented. Tried the website and also called the location. The website was not working and at the location no one ever answered the phone. I finally went there. Even though there is a sign at the location stating the fact the there is late drop off, the gentleman that works there told me that they do not have it and to come back the following morning to return the truck. Other than the above, this place is ok.

Made reservation online for 10:30. Arrived at 10:50 and left with truck at 11:45. Key drop off box was stolen and never replaced causing customer inconvenience so I had to pay for an extra day. Barely any communication I was standing around waiting for the truck to pull up but nobody had the key or knew where it was. Will not be coming back to this U-Haul location ever again.

Manager Juan, lacks customer service skills. I purchased a dolly for $20 during my rental yesterday because Juan mentioned they sell dolly's and dolly are not rentable. As I completed the transaction, U-Haul immediately sent me a link to follow and inspect he Van which distracted me and I forgot Juan never issued me the Dolly he sold me? I returned and Juan was unwilling to credit me the miles to return to get the Dolly and after I mentioned I would escalate to Cooperate, he offered me to split the miles - Odd? Secondly, the truck smelled foul and had lots of construction dust in the Cab and in the cargo area (pics were submitted). Last, when I returned the dolly because one of the wheels was defective and when I returned the Van, I returned the Dolly as an exchange not a credit but Juan was more interested in proving to me the dolly was not defective, standing on it and gliding on the floor within the facility and I felt his actions was condescending and insulting therefore, I decided to take the credit? I recommend Cooperate coach and counsel this team as they are lost on delivering good client outcome. FYI- I rent frequently here but after this experience, I plan to seek another U-Haul location as I did not appreciate Juan's action and humiliation conducted in the presence of other customers (Cameras should prove my point). Trucks need to be properly maintained. The first truck I was given, back door could not close and rubber trim around driver's door was not secure (kept falling). They then changed the truck to another, which after packing the truck and taking it to my destination, it began raining. Due to this we were unable to unpack the truck right away. After the rain stopped, when we opened the truck and began unloading we found the truck had a leak and my belongings got wet. I WAS NOT A HAPPY AND SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!!!!

I used moving helpers so did not go to this facility. They were prompt about calling me when my U-Box arrived and were good about coordinating with the moving-helpers to arrange my UBox delivery.
