Control the people coming with propane tanks. When I was trying to leave a car was parked in the middle of the entrance driveway. I had reserved a 15 foot truck in Goleta to move my child . My child was graduating from UCSB. Day prior I received a call saying no 15 foot available and i have been moved to 20 foot. Then I got call at a call late evening close to 6.30 pm stating that no 20 foot truck available in Goleta and that I will have to drive out 50 miles to Oxnard to pick a truck. I had scheduled movers in the morning at 8.30 am . As you must realize on move out weekend no street parking is available, therfore i had schedule my pick up for Sun Morning at 8.0 am in Goleta. But because of non availability I had to miss graduation ceremony celebrations as i had to Pick truck up from OXnard a day early. It was very stressful and upsetting. It was difficult process of UHAUL that made acessing the truck difficult. The site in Oxnard was not a problem, but the UHAUL system in itself was not user friendly. I am very upset that I had to miss out on my child's graduatin celebrations. On reaching i realized there were many smaller trucks avialable that i could have taken and could have had a 15 foot instead of struggling with a 20 foot. I had to struggle finding street parking and driving a 20 foot was stressfulAnurag S.

The self return process was extremely problematic and did not work properly. After 15 minutes of trying to make the website work correctly, my return was rejected by an "unknown internal error" and I had to ultimately go inside to talk with a human being. She helped me in a very efficient and friendly way. The self check-in process is a flawed waste of time and U-Haul should either remove the system completely or pay professional to make it work correctly before exposing this defective process to the customers. I want to emphasize that the staff who assisted me with the return were cheerful and efficient and completed the check-in process in less than 5 minutes.Michael O.

George was an INCREDIBLE employee! Online check in wasn't working so I was in the store for quite awhile trying to check in on my phone. During my long wait I quickly noticed George's ability to prioritize and keep all the customers happy even with them having a wait. It was truly a talent. It's not his fault uhaul only has one employee because they want everyone to check in but the problem was everyone was having online issues so he was working the check in process full time as well as the propane station and cleaning the trucks coming in all with a good attitude. He was knowledgeable in all areas of the store and never stopped working. I wish George was one of my employees.Omar A.

I tried returning my trailer with the self check-in but it was a little confusing. It kept asking for an odometer reading and a fuel with a picture and it wouldn't let me skip or keep going even if I put a picture. Thankfully George was able to help me out with a swift check in. Manager in this location is very unprofessional and rude. Does not know how to speak to costumers. We rented a trailer and returned that same night. We got charged for three days supposedly saying we returned the trailer three days later. Manager called us liars and said she saw us returning the trailor three days later when we already had returned it the same day we rented it. She hanged up on us and was very rude. Never going back to that location. Very bad experience. Manager needs help in dealin with costumers. She has no clue how to run a business.Javier A.

I rented one tow dolly on Tuesday 19 and I let to know them when I returned that the TD was making a lot of noise when I push the brake, then I rented another TD on Saturday 23 and they give me the same dolly with same problem.Jorge O.
The customer care at 3020 Saviers Rd Oxnard, CA 93033 was incredible especially after a horrible experience at the initial pick up location. UHaul booked me at a place after they had closed for the day and when I went to self check in, it turns out they had not placed the key. I ended up losing 1 hour and 30 min.Adib T.

The mileage was incorrectly logged (overcharging me at least $40) and it wasn't communicated to me until I looked at the paperwork upon leaving that I had to check that on my own. The truck struggled to start, had mushy breaks, struggled to shift no matter if the Tow setting was engaged or not, and had dirt in the back. Guy was nice at check out but not pleased overall.Todd N.

Your store front only had one person working the counter and It made things run so slow. and to top it off you had a Spanish speaking customer who requested assistance and asked the Girl at the counter if she spoke spanish and if she could help her. The girl at the counters only response was NO and she was nasty about it. she didn't bother to ask any one for help translating or if she could get one of the other guys in the back to help she just left the lady wondering around in the store till I stepped in to translate. The location you are at is mostly spanish speaking you MUST have a spanish speaker available at all times or you will lose a lot of customers due to poor customer assistance. THAT is the only reason I will not recommend my spanish speaking family members. I strongly believe by fixing this one thing your store front will be perfect.kathy C.

The manager and his associate Justin were absolutely wonderful. Our rental was in a minor fender bender and both employees were extremely patient and helpful.
