Representative only explained the gas level and that was it. Nothing about checking the vehicle or letting me know that the vehicle has a back up camera.

I was ripped off by the manager CORY PARKER. And I wasn't the only one. While I was waiting to rent a U-HAUL, a women had just returned her vehicle and said that she was told she had received a truck with a full tank of gas, but when she went to fill the tank before her return, she realized that her truck did not have a full tank of gas. Knowing this, when I received my truck, I checked, and it appeared to register a full tank. However, after drive just under 20 miles, it cost me $28 to fill the tank (I have the receipt). The gas station is RIGHT NEXT DOOR to U-HAUL location at 3609 ROUTE 38 in Mount Laurel, so it is not as if I filled the tank and then travelled around in the rental. When I told this to Cory, he said "We don't refund on gas." I said "But there is the expectation that you would give me a rental with a full tank of gas IF you expect me to return the rental with a full tank of gas." To which Cory replied "Then we won't charge you the return fee!" and he walked out the door and into the rental yard before I could even ask what that meant. In addition, there WERE NO DEDUCTIONS for return fees (whatever that means), so he lied! So there were at least 2 of us who had the same experience at the same U-HAUL location on the same day. I will never go back to that location nor will I use U-Haul.

Should not be charged for an extra day for a 24 hour rental that started at 7am Saturday and location rented doesn't open until 9am on Sunday.

Accuracy. Seems the employee that completed the rental agreement did not pay attention to detail. I provided my DL, insurance card. Credit card and spelled out my name and email address but still the rental agreement had the wrong first name on it. Not sure how that can happen. Promised a one way rental after driving All around to get the right truck that I reserved a week before and being told I had to return it to the place I picked it up or pay $500 for not doing it. Then being charged a extra $3?? Cause I had it extra time!!! They pray on people moving!! Never again!! RYDER!!!!

The movers hired through the app canceled leaving me with a truck I couldn’t use. The gas tank light came on leaving me afraid to drive it. When I took it back they didn’t care I was not able to use it. I paid nearly 100 for nothing and still have not been refunded fir the movers.

The men behind the counter were nice but very slow. I was in a hurry and it took forever. Then when I declined the insurance and they took a picture of my insurance card they still charged me for the insurance. I called and they are going to credit it, but not a great experience. Oh and being told truck was to the left, there were 3 I had no idea which one was mine and I had to go back in and ask.

Have car tow dolly's at your Maple Shade Kings Highway nj location The Mt Laurel depot is a pain in the ass to get to, on account of excess traffic in that area.

The truck we rented was very clean. Steve the guy that helped was very nice. There was a mistake in reserving the truck, but Steve fixed the error upon renting and all worked out great. We have rented UHaul's from storage facilities, but by far this was the best experience.

Cheaper pricing on truck per miles or a low flat rate daily. $120.00ish is a bit high for traveling only 90 miles round trip. (Still have to fill up gas) Auto transport pricing is adequate.
