they ruined my reservation for a truck and trailer. I had to drive extra miles to get a trailer from a different location and charged for those miles. If I had another option I would have use it but was forced into using them after them explaining how it was my faultmatt G.

I returned the truck with 1/4 tank of fuel over what I took it out with. the pleasant young lady behind the counter informed me that, while U-haul company policy is to charge the customer for returning the truck with less fuel, but there is no policy for reimbursement / credit for extra fuel. At the current price of fuel that equates to @ $60.00 of added expense to rental. In my opinion your fuel policy should be a two-way street, the current policy is nothing short of larceny.Allen G.

Our gas tank was completely siphoned out . We had time fill up , 5 miles away . This added us going over our alotted mileage , we left a 1/4 of fuel. We were charged for going over our mileage. We should be reimbursed.Anthony S.

Be more straigh with people and disinfect the trucks with bleach and pressure washer,because the truck that I rented stick like death people,probably in the past months someone was transporting body bags of dead covid19 people inside the uhaul tru k that I rented. 4 people filled up the truck with my furniture and 2 of them started to throwing up and never return to unload the truck,so me and my wife unloaded the 26 ft truck by ourselves. Not happy at all with uhaul,they have to clean the trucksbefore they rented to someone else.salvador M.

The manager Gil was not understanding to my situation after I explained I was 9 months pregnant and felt my rental was dangerous. It took me twice as long because the trailer was so unstable. He also charger me for a second day because I turned the trailer in 3 hours late, even though it was after hours. So the trailer was clean and ready for the next reservation in the morning, if there was one. The trailer was not clean when I picked it up there was a bunch of boxes in the back I had to dispose of. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I am highly dissatisfied with his customer service.Luis N.

This location needs far better signage to direct return vehicle traffic. The Return got off to a bad start because it's difficult and confusing to know where to enter the lot. Approaching the return lot, but ESPECIALLY from the freeway, there should be signs directing customers to the proper entrance, which requires you to pass the lot and enter from the side street. I unfortunately entered the front drive, went against the one way arrows, exited and entered another drive, also the wrong way, and finally just parked the truck in an open area of the lot. I took pictures of the milage and fuel level and went into the store, expecting to be able to do the return there. They refused to check in the truck unless I turned it around and parked it in their check in zone. When I asked if they could check it in where it was already parked they refused and said there was four signs indicating the check in area and that I needed to move the truck there. Those four signs are all AT the check in area so they are NOT visible from the street. Instead of helping they indicated I could use the mobile checkin process. Luckily that worked fine. One positive note is that this location has a readily available bathroom which is essential after a long drive.Joe H.

The MLK location was great, but I made the reservation with the U-Haul location at 2080 Yosemite Parkway, Sierra Storage South. The reservation was for 10 am. When I arrived the store was closed. I called and was advised that the store wouldn't open until 11:30. But the store was still closed then. I ended up at the MLK location, which got me going, but I was several hours behind schedule all day, and missed my meetings with movers, and had to drive at ight, which I didn't want. It was extremely unprofessional.James G.
