Truck had an issue with door opener tensioner. Staff was very helpful.

Our truck was given to us with a system warning on display and we were told to ignore it. Otherwise, the equipment and personal interaction was good. A $1 per mile is absolutely ridiculous. It cost me $140 to pick up donated furniture to give to a family in need.

The online check in system was horrible. It took me forever to get my rental. The people inside were of little help and seemed bothered by me.

Tim is amazing at this location. I am a business owner and he always comes through for us. This past weekend the service center decided on their own to change my rental from his location to another which I don’t like and changed the time of the pickup to 3p.m. This would make a big problem for my work since we do weddings and no one can reschedule their wedding because of a truck. So I called and Tim figured it all out for me. This one one of many times where he has come through for us. Thank you Tim

I reserved a trailer in Warren 2 weeks ahead of time and they didn’t have it had to send me to Madison heights.Which cost me more money and time to pay my movers that had to wait for me to go get it. I also had to go a hour away to get to where I was going and half way there the trailer started rocking like it was going to flip me.Then all of a sudden it came unhooked from my van and slid.It pulled my wiring out also.I will never trust them to hookup a trailer again as it must not of been done right or I wouldn’t of lost it.I will not use them again.

There was only 1 worker at the counter with no sense of urgency whatsoever. It took forever to get checked out. We did everything online ahead of time.

First. The person who checked us in was not the friendliest person. Second we were told the day before we could get there a little earlier since we were picking up at 8 (first customers) and they open up at 7 That way we get it back in time because they had it being re rented at 2. We showed up at 7 and the employee bitched we were early. Third I pre registered on line that morning because it stated it would be faster and no wait. Still had to show credit card and go over paper work. What’s the point of pre registration on line if we still have to do all that once we get in there?

The unit I rented was old. The roll up door was very difficult to raise and lower. The tie down slots on the rub rails were useless. That said the rental facility and staff are great to work with and I’ve rented servers units from there.

The truck I used needed to be serviced. It did not drive well. I couldn't go over 25 miles per hour. All in all it served its purpose.

Not pick-up location specific, but I would suggest if rentals aren't available at the customer's original reservation location that U-Haul brings them to that location instead of making the customer travel to the alternate location.
