everything was great but had some trouble with verifying the state of the vehicle on the website. appreciated the idea behind it but wasn't able to upload pictures (maybe an issue with the phone software or my phone IDK.) but couldn't proceed with simply leaving a comment which would've been a nice feature.Kyle K.
The manager at this location was great. She helped refund me $25.00 for overfilling the gas tank because the gas gauge was not reading. I come to this facility a lot when it makes sense for the budget. Love the location and the staff.Matthew R.

Uhaul needs to join the 21st century. Someone will come and blast your company out of the water soon. The process is onerous, the trucks need an update and guzzle gas.Jeremy L.
I really liked the staff at this location. I was originally scheduled to drop else where in LA but the person from that location was pushy and stressing me out. I went to this location because it was closer and I explained my situation to them. They went out of their way to help me and allowed me to drop off at their location. Moving is so stressful so when the staff from moving companies are helpful and empathetic it makes the experience so much better. Thank you to the staff at the Hollywood U-Haul location, they are awesome.Carla R.

Dropoff process was just as effortless, and I also received a credit for the extra fuel, which I was legit pleasantly surprised by. Didn't even have to ask! make sure the truck batteries are charged before giving them to customers. our truck's battery died 30 minutes after picking up the truck. the uhaul location representative said they would dispatch roadside assistance and they did not. I had to call 3 times and delayed our trip 4 hours.Julian P.

The truck I used had a problem with the ignition. It as loose and if the key was inserted all the way - it wouldn't turn. I had to partially insert the key to get it to work. The Sun visor on the drivers side was broken when I got the truck. I reconnected it but it kept falling into my line of sight while I was driving. Was very dangerous at times.John H.
the mobile checkout system needs work. Arrived logged in and uploaded driver's license but my assigned pickup truck was blocked by another pickup. Told attendant. Instead of him just moving it he told me to pick another truck on app. I told him what if blocked again and he said "sorry." I picked another and got the combo to lock to get the key and the box was empty. Had to wait for a long time in a long line to get them to give me the key. He told me the box "is just a decoy" and they never keep it in there. Then why waste customer's time doing it. Also box locks are mechanical and need to upgrade to scan QC code or digital keypad.Aaron J.

The online rates are not clear â€¦ got charged for fuel 2 times and it won't show you where you gas was to begin with â€¦ had an original charge of 91$ and some how it went to 130$â€¦ no staff to talk to and no one to handle the situationâ€¦ very unsatisfactoryJose H.

The tail lights and brake lights were out so it was dangerous to drive the truck especially on the freeway. It was a big inconvenience and liability to drive around for safety and we could have gotten a ticket but had to take side streets instead of freeway so our trip took longerJos S.

I called to reserve a truck to pick up my u-boxes, and the person on the phone was told this. They helped me set up the rental. When we get there the day to use it, the truck does not have the trailer attached. We ask the man who gave us the truck if we needed it, and he assured us that we did that at the location where we pick up the u-boxes. Not to mention that this man also asked if we had gotten coverage and when I said yes, whipped the dolly into the truck. When we got down to the location to pick up the u-boxes, we were unable to and decided to return the truck immediately. I am rating averagely because the woman working the desk was extremely nice, professional, and did everything she could to help us out. It was uhaul's poor training that ensured we were not even able to use the truck, as we were told different things by different people resulting in a waste of money.Gage W.
I know you have everything online these days. But a dent and scratch inspection with an employee would have been nice. Also, a basic controls lesson on the van would have helped. The van automatically unlocks all the doors when you park. I could not figure out how to re-lock them. So, I had to go to each door with the key and check them each time I parked. Have your employee Marcos not have a power trip and harass me for an already empty/clean truck. He went on about how he needs to charge me a cleaning fee for a little bit of dust (dust) at the end of the truck. He ran his finger along the back of it and said it needs to be ran through a car wash. Insane. But, I decided to use a rag I had in my pocket to dust dust off, and he hands me a mop. Complete insanity when it was NOT dirty like that. I will make sure they spray & wipe down my steering wheel and coffee stains prior to every reservation since cleanliness is their top priority & not sincere customer service.Yesenia R.

If you say you;'re a 24/7 drop-off location here's an idea: DON'T INTENTIONALLY BLOCK ALL OF THE ENTRANCES WITH TRUCKS. Contract states truck must be returned to inside lot. After an 18-hour day, the last thing I needed last night with to spend two extra hours taking care of your trucks.Alan S.

The staff was helpful. I have an issue with Uhaul. 10-inch trucks do not come with a ramp, as people who are moving should not even rent this truck. I hired movers and they didn't show up. So I only had this truck. It took me three days to move things onto the truck bc there was no ramp and no help. It's been physically and emotionally draining, and physically exhausting. If you guys want to make more money, always up-sell the truck with the ramp. Uhaul should not have trucks without a ramp as people are moving, rented a dolly, and quite insane to offer this without a ramp. As I was out of it, the day of the move, and not fully paying attention, there were items added to my contract . I didn't request those items or realize I accepted those items. I only need one small dolly. The other dolly was too heavy from me to carry. I am a petite woman, weight at 120lbs. I was also given furnishing pads, that I did not need. Nothing I have required those things. I have no idea they were added to the order and did not double check. At this point, I had been in accident, ( as I was getting out Uber, a finder bender, I wasn't able to get Uhaul until 5, mover's cancelled, and it was a crazy day to say the least. Thanks for your time, pls stop selling trucks without a ramp.Sophia S.

My issue is with this location but with Uhaul's processes. My pick-up location was changed and no one called me the day before to confirm my pick-up as they usually do. After arriving at my original location, I had to go to a different location to pick up the truck which caused the whole move to be delayed. I hired movers through Uhaul which meant I had to pay them extra because we went over the allotted time. I looked back and noticed that Uhaul had sent me an email to say my reservation was updated. FEEDBACK FOR UHAUL: That updated email did not clearly state that my location was changed from _____ to ________. In fact, it should be in the subject line what was changed- such as pick-up location or time. Furthermore, the change should be highlighted in RED or BOLD or ITALICS or something to alert you what was changed in the reservation. When you're in the middle of a move, there's a lot going on and so many emails to complete just one transaction. I hope the IT or marketing or operations department is listening and will make it easier to alert users about changes to the reservation. I should have been refunded a portion of my charge due to the inconvenience caused but the UHaul manager did not see it that way and denied my request.Chris H.

Very glad I took a picture of the mileage/gas gauge. When receiving the vehicle, they had indicated the tank was 7/8 full while it was only showing 3/4. I returned the vehicle at 3/4 and was told I'd have to pay for gas. I was able to resolve everything with the desk staff and they were very helpful. Just a heads up to take pictures!Timothy C.
