Used self pick up. Got in the truck and check engine light was on. Got a new truck through one of the workers being able to help me. Went to return the truck, was instructed to just “throw the keys in the window here”. Was not able to complete my return through the website due to the fact that I was given another truck to drive than I originally was assigned to. Hoping I am not charged for not “properly” returning the truck.

You need to do a better job of listening. we reserved a truck for six days. you were not clear that you would only let us have it for 2 days . and then you were rude. We rented from your store for decades. Never again.

The truck was clean and the staff generally were friendly. I appreciate being allowed to extend my rental time without any added cost. It was impossible to contact the staff directly. It would be very helpful to be able to speak with a real person there rather than having to go through a general automated system or a website.

Mobile app checkin didnt work so I had to go into the office and have someone get me set-up to take the truck.

I think the company's car rental service is simple and convenient, and the car is also very convenient. When I return the car, I just need to drive the car to the back door of the office. After a handsome guy checks, I can successfully apply for the return service. The lady at the front desk said that the receipt will be sent to my mailbox. Therefore, from start to finish, car rental services are very convenient, fast and simple. The most important thing is that it is very cheap. It only costs $19.95 for 24 hours. Other expenses are billed by mileage, which is also very cheap. Remind everyone, remember to fill up the car before returning it, because the mailbox was full when you borrowed it. The experience was great. I spent a total of about US$80 to move, including the US$30 petrol that I added to the car. Give praise!

have a closer location for pick up. be customer focused, u haul did not care about the out of the way location I had to do, no compensation, nothing.

You did not honor my reservation. When I got to the location the trailer was not available. They said come back in 2 hours. I called the main number who told me that the trailer had been returned and that they were 100% sure that it was there now that it's two hours later. I drove the truck back out there it was not there. At this point it's two hours later and the help that I had hired independently to help me load left because they're two hours was up and I had to pay them $200 for nothing. There was another trailer available at another location so I had to drive to that location and pick up the trailer. You do not honor your reservations they are worthless. I will never come back to that location again as the manager couldn't care less. And can do nothing about any of this. Never again!

I rented truck from this location before and the truck was ok . This time the truck was dirty inside and out. They tried do a quick clean but it was still dust on the dashboard, steering wheel, also the windows weren't clean inside and out. The outside of the truck needed a good wash. I wish I could get some of my money back from the truck rental.

Vehicle was beaten to death. Door rattled. Needed oil change. I was left with almost an empty tank. There was no reverse camera like on others I've rented.

Staff was helpful modifying a reservation but there was little explanation of how things worked, what to do once you had your key, etc. More "how to get started" information would be helpful. Staff handling the vans and equipment were helpful, too. All in all, a good experience.

I had a problem later in the evening when I went to return the truck because of location services being turned off on my iPhone (apparently there's a special new way that this needs to be turned on in the iPhone that was not explained on the uhaul site). Because of this issue, I had to call customer service and it took much longer to drop off. The people at the site itself were very nice and helpful.

The agreed return time was 4pm however the cashier did not update the order and I was charged for another 24 hour. I had to pay the dues but was not allowed to keep the truck for the additional paid time. Cashier was very impolite and didn't want to hear anything about the issue.

U-Haul changed a 24-hour rental of a truck at one location to an 8-hour rental of a van at a different location (different vehicle, different location, different length of time). When we arrived, there NO vehicles at all. We went back to the first location and were able to get only a 2-hour rental there. We only were able to move a fraction of the things that we needed to move. We'll have to rent another truck next weekend, which needless to say, will NOT be from U-Haul.

The front tires of the 20' truck I rented were bald on the edges because the alignment has not been adjusted. Because of the issue, steering the vehicle was challenging at times.

nothing was wrong with the location where the truck was pick up, it was just too far from where i make the reservation it was less than half a mile from where i am living and there were trucks there but instead they send me 10 miles away to pick up the truck i am very disappointed with the long distance because its was 10 miles away from where i am living, thats is dirty stink i check 3 days before at the original pick up point to confirm for sunday pick up and i was told that every thing was ago for sunday i say thank you and left only to get email on the saturday evening to say i have to go 10 miles away to pick up the truck i was very pissed.

Way to expensive for a less than 24 hour rental. Coordinate with AAA to allow coverage via AAA road side insurance. It would send more business your way, and allow AAA to pay instead of the customer.

Be kind to the staff in-house, understand that whoever makes your reservation is not the physical location you pick up your equipment - this is a separate department. The staff at U-Haul of Havertown was so sweet to accommodate me, things could have been a nightmare but the staff was so helpful. thank you again.

I arrived at 7AM on Saturday 8/21 and there was one woman working there. She is the hardest working woman I've ever seen. She was managing the entire facility on her own, hustling, and getting it all done with a professional attitude. Give this woman a promotion and a raise. She was very kind despite the overwhelming work load.

The correct size truck was not at the location when I arrived so I rented a smaller one. I think the company should give some type of discount for the mix up as I had to make two trips to move everything since it was a smaller truck. Especially since we are non-profit serving the same community of students and teachers that this location operates in. Margo, the person who handled the rental was excellent - competent, cheerful, efficient, helpful. Give her a raise!

She was extremely courteous and when I mentioned that I have hearing disabilities, she immediately adjusted he voice so I could hear her.
