I reserved online and attempted to follow the directions for a contactless pick up. It initially said the pick up location was East Grand Forks MN, but when I would drive to this location the pick up location would switch to Grand Forks ND. So I drove all the way there, and it changed the pick up location back to East Grand Forks. I found a way to change the pick up location to Grand Forks, and when I went to put in a phone number to verify the customer (myself and my fiancÃ©, I was paying he was driving) it wouldn't accept my phone number or his phone number because they were both already input online, which was garbage, so we had to input his mom from 1600 miles away and give her a heads up from a totally different time zone. Then we proceeded to the part where it says â€œpick up your keys in this black boxâ€ and was provided no code, no way to access it. Lucky for us, the store ended up being open by the time we were about the pull the hair from our head, 30 minutes late, and the guy at the counter took care of it no problem. Your online option was absolute hell, and I was cursing Uhaul's name until your associate saved the day.Justin T.

Nothing to do with either location, but when my drop off location was messed up on the contract (I had confirmed that the desired location on the contract was exactly where it was supposed to be, but customer service had said otherwise), I had to talk to seven different people from U-Haul over the phone, and it wasn't until I called the Palm Harbor location but I got actual results. When I had called customer service to remedy the issue, I was told that I would be charged double the amount.Athena S.

I rented 2 -U-Haul 26' trucks and 2-6x12 trailers at different times this summer from the Grand Forks U-Haul on Gateway. Both times on the 26' trucks they were not there on time I booked, one I had to settle for a 20' truck, the the next time I had to wait another day to pick it up. Jake at Grand Forks U-Haul did everything he could to make sure my moves were not turned into a nightmare with these hooked reservations. He deserves a raise for going way far beyond to make a bad situation not turn into a nightmare experience with these U-Haul reservations!FRANK N.

I had ordered 6 blankets plus the trailer. When I arrived the attendant stated he gave all the blankets away that morning. I explained that I ordered this 2 days prior and needed those blankets as I was hauling a baby grand piano. The attendant found three blankets at first. I pressed him for three more and suggested he give me some of the blankets you could buy. He states he couldn't do that. He left and found three more, thus completing my order. However because of this fiasco of a mess I was late picking up the piano by a half hour and this that much later getting to my house where I had men waiting for me to carry in the piano.
