The truck was very old and time to be taken out of commission very dirty inside from old age lots of wear and tear steering seemed a little loose too much play couldn't figure out how to keep the interior light on in the truck so I could see when I'm moving the stuff in and outMatthew B.

There was a mount for the wire port that was not in stock. So now I have an incomplete job with a loose wire. The installer said I can come back in a couple weeks. That does not work for me.Greg M.
I paid for a utility dolly ($7) which was not provided, so I would recommend you check the order and requests to make sure everything that was paid for is included.Cheryl P.

Guys in east islip are great. The call center sucks. I would rather wait and or call back than deal with the national call center. They have wasted my time and energy too many times. The guys at the east islip location are first class.Keith F.

I rented a cargo van to move my daughter into a NYC apartment, and the owner was very helpful with information about what bridges and highways I could drive the UHaul on in Queens and NYC!Patricia B.

The location was fine. The poor rating is from the very poor customer service experienced from the corporate side. The rental was originally supposed to be at a more convenient location, when it was wrong, over an hour of waiting on the phone and getting nowhere was a source of frustration and the limited way the employees could help themselves was also frustrating. The trailer had defective tail lights that had to be fixed before leaving which added an additional half an hour wait and overall the entire experience was unacceptable. An additional 30 minutes waiting on the phone finally connected us to a customer service rep who was very helpful but I would be hesitant to use uhaul again after this.michael C.

Manager is rude & condescending. Truck was dirty/smelled & had no oil. Staff was pleasant. Manager lead you to believe it was your fault for "them" not servicing their vehicle for 5.5 months! This was a one way rental. The mishaps just kept on coming. Horrible service, will never use again.BARBARAJEAN G.

Service was great no complaints but they would not rent me a trailer because I had a soft top on my jeep wrangler. The crazy thing is I could have rented the same trailer with my Toyota Prius. Zero logic there. The other complaint is the 5' wide trailer is only 53" wall to wall inside.Gavin M.

I originally had made an online trailer install confirmed appointment at Farmingdale location. Upon arrival I was told the hitch was not in stock. 8 days after making my appt no one called to tell me. I contacted corporate and they checked at West Babylon store, and in stock. Got a call from Adam the Mgr who confirmed in stock but his installer had just quit. Adam on his own called the East Islip store who had an installer. Adam then drove the part to E> Islip on his way home and confirmed for me an appt for the next day. Andrew the E Islip Mgr then personally installed our new hitch. Adam and Andrew were complete professionals and couldn't do more to help. Carlyle, the Farmingdale Mgr and his staff seemed to not care less. They never offered to call around and in fact told me the part was weeks out. Even after I had a confirmed online appt. they never called to alert me that the part wasn't in. Kudos to Adam and Andrew. Can't say the same for Farmingdale locationTerry M.

Overall experience just ok, mileage price is extremely high, unfortunately I needed the truck for moving. Also I purchased the smaller boxes I believe a bundle was like 23 dollars , I used 3 of them and all 3 handles just broke off. One of them holding 2 heirlooms passed down from my deceased mother ( which were 2 small glass snow globes about 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide) . And I know they were not heavy, the entire box must have weighed about 17 pounds total. I'm very upset about all 9f this!!!!!!!JAIMEALBERTO C.
