We got in and out pretty quickly both picking up and dropping off the truck. The truck drove fine and worked for our dump run of large items from our backyard. I will say the cab smelled like body odor and since we had just showered we know it wasn't us :). Not sure what could be done about it, but maybe a spritz of air freshener would be helpful.

Nothing to do with the location, but the online return process was messy. The system kept failing and it took me 4 attempts, 2 different browsers, and 40 minutes to complete.

Everything was fine except the app to check in. Great idea, but when I got to the DL photos and it asked for you to upload a file it did not present the opportunity to do so. You had to take the photo. The the app requires you to open and acknowledge the 2 documents ... but the link didn't work and you can't check the box if the link doesn't work

I had a horrible experience, I was told I couldn't rent the van I had reserved because my debit card was not a major credit card. The employee didn't make any suggestions, I left then came back and asked if I could rent a box truck and she sighed and said yes. She told me that none of the box trucks had gas so if I would add gas I would get the rental for free. The attendant outside did not inspect the truck with me, just pointed to it and walked off. When I turned it on the gas light came on. I only needed the vehicle to pick up a couch three blocks from this location and then drop it off at my house which was another three blocks away. I put $10 in the tank and picked up the couch, dropped it at my house, then retuned it within 35 minutes. Then I was told I would get no discount because I didn't fill it to 1/4 of a tank. I told the attendant who was inspecting the vehicle “it's fine, I don't care if I have to pay.” He said “I don't deal with upset customers, you go in there and talk to her.” I said again I was fine with the amount because I didn't want to argue, I just felt like the service was horrible and my business was not appreciated.

The lady and gentlemen working were great. The issue lately with uhaul is the website doesn't work sometimes. I had issues with the online stuff but not the in person stuff. I couldn't change my reservation because I couldn't get past the captcha, so I had to cancel it and redo it. When I returned my equipment after hours I couldn't use the website to return it. It got stuck on step 2. I tried multiple times and it didn't work. I called and the wait time was over an hour.

It's not the staff - they were great, but the security, the gas hose to the tank was cut because people are stealing gas from vehicles at this location. There is a nearby homeless encampment. There could have been a major accident with fire, and we were lucky.

I am 77. I have a good credit history. You wouldn't rent the equipment to me until I gave you the phone number of a friend or relative. I understand the reason, but that's ridiculous.

The fees were very misleading. Paid over $300 for the Uhaul, really misleading.. The person working the front desk told me I wasn't supposed to drop off the Uhaul at that location, when I told her that the gentleman I picked up from told me I could her response was, “well he lied” and called him an idiot. Overall very poor customer service and the pricing was way to expensive.

The online check in is cumbersome. When I'm renting a trailer, I don't need to be presented with a half dozen options for packing, storage, etc. Also, I find even when I've input all my information, including a photo of my driver license, I still get hung up at the counter. And if there are a few people ahead of me, it can take FOREVER to get out of there. It should be easier, especially when you've got an online account that's been used many times.

Also was my first time using U-Haul which I made clear to employees. Yet had to walk around for 5-10 minutes trying different U-Haul to see which one was my assigned truck while no one could help or answer questions. Finally after receiving help I trekked out to fill up on gas. Long story short, the truck's gas pipe was messed up and I ended up spilling gasoline all over my shoes as the gas went straight from the hose to my shoes as it leaked through the gas pipe to the tank. Safe to say I had to bring this truck back. Got my 2nd truck, an hour after I had gotten there to pickup my truck, no problems. Move went smoothly and dropped the truck off an hour before my due time. Office was closed but I had no idea what check-in entailed. There was an employee there but they locked the doors and it was only a cleaning lady. I tried asking her for advice but she was not trying to have me talk to her and didn't really answer just told me to do it online in a snarky way. Of course there was a problem accessing my order through the text link they sent so I panicked and asked the cleaning employee again to no avail and more snark and telling me I better figure it out or I get a bunch of extra charges. Gee I wonder why I was asking you for help then? . Luckily, another group returned their U-Haul same time as me and guided me through the steps to take but my order still wasn't found on the safari portal. Left to get my car and downloaded the stupid U-Haul app to check it in after leaving the U-Haul storefront only to find out I had to physically be there in my location to cHeck it in. So after a day of moving, tiredness, and STILL returning my truck an hour before due time, I had to hustle in my car to get back to the U-Haul pickup spot to have my location register and check in so I wasn't late and having to pay extra. Dealing with this was honestly more stressful than the move and I regret having this U-Haul place be the closest place to my current apartment should I ever need to move again. Maybe it's worth paying the extra $1.29+ in miles to avoid having to deal with this again. Maybe since I'm more familiar with the process next time it'll go more smoothly but I did not enjoy my experience with this place one bit.

horrible customer service in the morning.. The customer service agent literally acted like I was annoying her because I was asking her simple questions. When I went out to the truck to check the gas the gas had been safe and out of it and she acted like she didn't even care rolled her eyes at me the worst customer service did not even come out to look at the truck or the mileage or the gas cap that was already twisted off.

I have not rented anything in over eight years it always used to be that the person on duty would come out check the truck with me check the odometer check the fuel and sign off now when I get back there's not a half tank in there truck they say people are siphoning off gas and now I had to spend $60 extra to put fuel that was stolen before I even took off blamed it on me that I did not take pictures of everything before I left I'm sorry that people are stealing your fuel but that's not my responsibility I will not rent again

We went to this location because we were offered 50 miles free to rent from that place. The truck we were to use had a hole in the gas tank therefore we couldn't use it. So we were charged full price and had to go out of our way as well. I-haul asked us to do us to inconvenience ourselves at your request and got nothing for it. I will say the girl working the office was helpful and professional. Over all I disappointed.

Truck was dirty on the outside. I was also afraid the truck wasn't going to make it the 100 miles I needed to drive. Customer service picking up was not friendly. Overall, the truck did the trick though.

Although everyone was very nice, the young woman that took care of me was very helpful and patient with all my questions. My rating for location is for the business itself and staff, not where it's located. That area of town does have issues. I would not leave personal vehicle overnight or after hours.

The van was clean in inside, sooo dirty on outside I almost took it through a car wash before using. Employees are efficient, but so dirty (physically). It only takes a minute to wash your hands. Woman that checked the vehicle on return used foul language.

The young lady that helped me in the office was very nice and professional and the young man that hooked up the trailer was very nice, professional and personable. I had an excellent experience.
