Vanessa and two other gentleman that worked this morning.... they reminded me that humanity isn’t all lost.. there are still some great people in this world ... these 3 folks... they beyond did a good job at “work” they did an amazing job for the human condition, at a time when it’s suffering everywhere. I hope that they are shown great appreciation by your company because the company itself has a lot of controversy as I have been reading, your employees... are the only reason I do business with uhaul

The van I rented was dirty and the interior smelled of cigarette smoke. The side door did not open when I tried to open it. When I returned the van and told the employee the issues, he said I will mark that down. Very disappointed

I called customer service and asked if i could bring the truck back an hour past my return time of 10:15 without having to pay for a days rental fee. This location had about 15 vans available so i dont think inventory was a problem. I was surprised that i was turned down for a one hour extension..

Everything was excellent!! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I had to change the date a couple of time due to closing date . They accommodated me very well. Will definitely rent again from here

Staff was very friendly. Windshield and mirrors were not clean. Before returning the truck, I put 5 gallons of gas in the tank. The gauge read 7/8 full which fulfilled my contract obligation.. My final bill indicated that they added 2 more gallons. Frivolous.

Vanessa was by far the best customer service rep I have ever talked to. I initially dealt with the rolling meadows location who double booked my trailer then I called the Des Plaines location and Vanessa was unbelievably helpful and made me feel very comfortable that I had a guaranteed reserved trailer. She is just an amazing human overall.

I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I had a trailer reserved and at the last minute I was informed that I was going to have to go to Chicago to pick up my trailer, which was totally not going to work. I was supposed to pick up my trailer in Arlington Heights, but the guys there went out of their way to find a trailer for me at the Des plaines location! Then the folks there were very nice and accommodating to the time table I needed. And every one there was extremely nice and very helpful. I would strongly recommend them! For a minute I thought I was in Utah not illinois, (Sorry illinois, too many unpleasant experiences with poor customer service, and I grew up there so…), all of the people there were really friendly and polite! Unfortunately sometime in the future I will have to rent another truck or trailer to move mom and I will seek them out again gladly!

You can verify whether or not someone renting a vehicle from you gives you a true Alternate Contact name next time. I did not use your service on 11-29-19. The person who rented the Econoline Van from you used my contact information as an Alternate contact and I have NO idea who this person is. The Equipment contract was e-mailed to me. So, this is how I know that they did this. I have contacted the local authorities and it will be investigated as to why this person used my contact information when asked by your associate for such information.

Customer service was excellent. Honest, friendly, and understanding in a way willing to work with you. The truck was perfect for our needs, though I did experience a little trouble with accelerating and pull. Nothing that impacted our move day and I would recommend this service.

I never got my check out paperwork. I returned the truck in less than the expected time by hours and was under the mileage. When i checked out they told me I could leave the truck and they'd email me my receipt. I'm still waiting for it and that was yesterday around 1:30

I had a serious concern with the fuel charge and the way the agent at the location handled this. I was required to put in over 7 gallons of fuel for a trip of 9 miles. When I questioned the agent how the truck could only be getting a little over 1 mile per gallon I was told to either put the fuel in or pay the refueling charge. Please call me regarding this

Return on a Saturday was very lengthly due to the fact that Saturday is probably very bu, as was the case, and only one person working returns and one working with people for storage lockers.. The morning service for pickup was excellent!!!! Very nice counter person! Return way to long a wait!!!!!

A U-Haul employee assaulted our delivery driver, and only sent them with with one of our two boxes. I tried to call the location 9 times over 4 days and never got a reply. I'll never use U-Haul again.
