It was convenient to our drop off place as it was about a block away. Drop off could not have been easier. It would be helpful if drop off places could recommend the closest gas station so one could fill up for the return.

Make it cheaper. Went to get the van at 4pm. Had to wait for guy who was helping another customer on the phone. Didn't get out of there fast enough. Brought it back, on time, but took a while returning it via phone. Was using data, but page got lost anyway and had to start over again on the return process.

The biggest issue was the truck that was guaranteed wasn't available so I had to go with another truck. I did not get the $50 reservation guarantee or a credit of some sort taken off the bill. Can you help with this and some sort of credit? Other than that. The two guys at the Uhual were very professional, friendly, and gave good customer service. Made everything easy.

Requested to rent blankets and hand truck. Service desk person stated they did not have any available. Truck had tire pressure message. Truck ran well. Returned that evening around 7:30. Store was open but service desk person no where around. Knocked On door to back room. We waited about 10 minutes and knocked on door to back room again. Finally able to wake him up so I could give him the keys and get out

Location is not properly staffed. Trucks have damage but nobody goes over truck with you. They do not guarantee your reservation at a specific location at all

I waited over an hour and 20 minutes to pick up my truck, I was 3rd in line when I got there. There was only one person doing everything, moving trucks, handling the front of the store, gathering blankets, attaching towing, it was pouring out and he was all over the place. It was the last weekend of the month and everyone was moving, there should have been more people on staff. In addition, my truck had the check engine light on the whole time, I was not going back into the store to talk about it because I only had the truck till 11:30am and my pickup time was 7:30, I got there at 7:15am, and I didn't get into the truck until 8:45am. I turned the truck off to load it at my house and when I went to turn it back on, it was completely dead, it didn't make a single noise when turning the key over. For over an hour I waited for someone to answer the phone, the automation kept saying “your wait will be more than 15 minutes”. I finally hung up and got a jump from a person driving by. So I paid for 4 hours but was only able to use the truck for 2. Horrible experience.

I made the original reservation at this location and the gentleman was extremely informative and helpful. Unfortunately the truck wasn't available and I was given 3 different locations to pick up the truck. The experience was absolutely horrible and it was not the vault of the location. It was the rude and ignorant people in the scheduling department who screwed up my entire move. These people need to be trained better on real customer service and they need to speak better to customers.

I requested to pick this truck up and drop off at another location. They told me I wasn't allowed to. I even tried to pay more. So after i moved, i had to turn around and drive all the way back to return the truck. I also asked to use a handtruck, and was given one with a broken strap so it was unable to be used. Very Very unhappy.

The truck wasn t super dirty but not real clean either. Wasn t sure if you sanitize after each use which is scary during the pandemic. Otherwise everything was great

I was not given the truck that I was promised. Originally wanted a 20 ft truck, was called and advised the biggest that they had was a 17 ft truck and when we went to pick it up I was given a 15 ft truck. I also ordered 2 dollies and only was provided with 1. When I called to extend the time i was given a bit of a hard time, even after explaining that i was given a significantly smaller truck. Staff was nice enough, but overall a bit of a disappointing experience

The individuals at the U-Haul where I picked up the van were not wearing masks when they encountered customers and did not observe social distancing. In fact, one of the staff members in the office touched me on the shoulder with his hand as I walked by him. I was handed the key. It was not possible to do a “touchless” pickup.

Uhaul's entire operation is beyond terrible. But you are one of the only games in town so you do nothing to actually live up to any promises you make. Trucks you advertise are not available ever. Missing equipment, poorly maintained, but you keep pushing that vehicle protection using scare tactics in your process. Change it or prepare to be sued.

Usually the guy that I work with in there, is pretty knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. I don't know who this knew guy is, but he needs to go back to sender. It's amazing how one bad experience can completely ruin your impression of something.

This whole experience was a nightmare and I have filed a complaint. When I make a reservation, I shouldn't have to have a nervous breakdown over whether or not there will actually BE a trailer available, the day BEFORE we are packed to move. However, I finally got a trailer in Crum Lynn. and got a uhaul with Amara, He was wonderful. He was pleasant, patient, and professional and working his butt off at that shop alone. He was the ONLY positive part of this rental experience from start to finish. Thank you Amara. U-haul, not so much.

There was only one person working Friday afternoon and many customers. I waited about 45 minutes to get my reserved rental. Several people left without being helped as the wait was so long. That said the person working did the best he could and was very helpful, but I would try another location next time.

Disgusted!!!!!!! I was scheduled to pick up a truck at 1pm at king of Prussia, I was told it was not there and at another location, I clicked on directions from the uhaul website, this took me to a location 30 minutes away from the proper location, there was a uhaul store, not far from the incorrect directions from the website. I went there, to be told it was the wrong location, I finally arrived to pick up the truck. I was in peak hour traffic and after leaving at 12.30,finally arrived back at my home at 4.30, this should have taken 15 minutes each way from the original scheduled pick up location, 4 hours later. I left Philadelphia to take my son to college in Pittsburgh, arrived to drop the truck of in Pittsburgh at 1pm, removed by belongings in the front cabin, however I did not realize that I had accidentally left my ear pods and charger, I checked my inside my luggage after checking into the hotel, after waiting and calling 6 times, I finally got hold of a operator at 3pm, I explained the situation and tracked my ear pods back to the location where I dropped the truck off. I was informed by the operator that she could not get in contact with anyone at the location, she emailed the general manager of the store explaining the situation, this was 3pm Saturday, he was to either email or call my cell phone, no contact at all from anyone It is now 7am on Sunday morning and I have leave to go back to Philadelphia, I am disgusted in the customer service from uhaul, I will never use this company again, I will also write as many bad reviews as possible explaining my terrible experience with this unprofessional company

I felt bad for the employee at the counter. The customer he had was rude, and gave the employee a hard time. The employee tried everything to accommodate. It was the customer's fault, they never finalized their reservation on line. I did mine on line and had no problem. Just wanted to let you know the employee was great under pressure and held himself very professional....kuddos to him

The check engine light was on in the truck I had. Maybe check that because the transmission felt weird. The agent i dealt with at the counter was great. His name was Kenneth Jenkins. He was super helpful & very friendly. He helped me when i returned the key before I didn't any of the photos to return the truck myself. He answered all of my questions and I had a lot! Lol! He remained professional but very friendly. We need more employees like Kenneth!

I guess this is the best U-Haul can do given the area is decaying. I would give a higher rating except when turning the trailer in , there was and issue with the unit number which the drop off location corrected.

I arrived at the Crum Lynne location to check out a 15' or 17' truck. There was only a 17' but it was reserved for a later time. The employee, who was helpful and nice said there was a 15' truck available for me at a nearby location. So I headed here but called before hand to make sure. When I called I was told there were no 15' available. So I went home and completed an online reservation for a 17' truck for 1:30pm. Just before my reservation time, I was emailed that a 10' truck was available at a location twenty minutes away. No where near what I requested location wise or equipment wise. So I called the 1-800 number and I reserved a 20' truck instead at my original Crum Lynne location. When I returned the truck I was confronted by a rude employee, David Tran. Since I did not have my phone on me he said I was going to receive a convenience fee because I couldn't perform the self return. He was giving me attitude like a teenage girl who wasn't getting what she wanted. I left and was surprised to see he charged me for a cleaning fee and 90 miles when I drove about 86 miles. He acted like a child. Overall, terrible experience from start to finish.
