Steve - I was provided your email from Mercedes at the Boynton Beach store located at 1319 N Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. I had an appointment today for a simple conversion from a 4-pin t a 7-pin tow hitch and an brake controller install. See attached receipt. Unfortunately they were not able to install the brake controller, mentioned some power issue (not exactly sure why). When I went to pickup my truck, the truck would now only turn on for about 1 second and shut down. Also, the check engine light was coming on. I mentioned that and the installer said it was already on, which is very frustrating and a COMPLETE lie. My truck was in great condition when I arrived, and now it would even power on. Your team's only solution for me was to have it towed and call the Claims Dept. at Repwest. This was extremely frustratstting as I brought I a perfectly working vehicle and over the course of two hours my truck would not even start. The installer had just left the site and didn't come back eventhough he know my truck was not working. So I had to have the truck towed to my mechanic. Hopefully it is just a fuse issue or the installer mixed up some wires. I hope he didn't fry and circuit board. I called Repwest and they had me on hold for 45 and then disconnected the call. I need you to call me to give me a solid solution on reimbursing me for the tow and any repairs needed. This was an absolute disaster of a day. I had to walk halfway home, cancel an appointment and wasted hours of my time. Your team offered no solution after disabling my vehicle. Just to tow it and call a Claims Dept.?? It is not a claim, they broke my vehicle. They should have towed it or had someone to fix the issues they created. Please call me as soon ass possible.BRIAN H.

I had to go farther out to get a truck because the 1st location I went to the truck I reserved wouldn't start. It cost me thirty minutes and the hand truck was already loose. I didn't check Inside the truck before I drove off.Cory J.
I had a bad experience overall. Had to go to 4 locations to return truck. Took 2hrs. Boyton actually helped. Make sure your location actually exists and is the correct address. I was given 2 incorrect addresses. 3rd address did not take my truck size. Nothing worse than filling truck up with gas and driving in circles with false addresses. Tired and hungry. Again did not receive my equipment and lengthy customer service holds of 30+ min not once but several times.Nan S.

The original drop off location had the incorrect address we had to Google the correct address drive all the way over there to find out that there's no other U-Hauls there had to call the 1-800 number and was able to find the location where I did drop it off and it was a big one around. So if I can have some kind of compensation for my time traveled and the over gas that I put in the truck would be great. Also I was just satisfied with if you look at my history I reserved a truck almost 4 years ago and I had a bad experience then and I called the 1-800 number and they promised that I would get a discount or free truck rental on my next purchase I told that I don't think I'd be running another truck but they said no problem they'll put the credit on and when I do rent my next truck I'll get it I didn't argue I just said okay well I happen to rent the truck 4 years later and they could not find the credit that is not fair. So I believe I should be reimbursed for some of the truck rental as part of the credit from 4 years ago the $40 in gas and the trouble we had to find the place not only was it us but our friends that were following had to waste their gas in time trying to help me drop off the truck. Please take this into close consideration because I believe I deserve some compensation thank you and have a great day.Erica H.
I ordered a 10' van and my email said 10' but when I got to the uhaul location they only had 15' truck. I was disappointed to say the least but took the 15' truck and they only charged me for the 10'. In the long run it worked out better as I did not need to rent the uhaul for 2 days as I was able to pack the truck in one load. The employees at this location are nice and if I needed to rent a uhaul again, I would use this location.Paula O.

I rented a dolly that was not in the truck. The mobile rent the truck service was awful. It kept kicking back to the 1st step everytime I completed a step. I couldn't check out either. Luckily it was during business hours as I needed help getting a dolly, getting the key (code didn't work), and checking out.Jami A.

Uhaul changed my appointment twice. Once without any communication and the other time with an email an hour before my appointment. Then, when dropping off my car, they entered the wrong phone number into the computer. I spent the whole day waiting for communication from the store. I called numerous times and their number directs you to the national number so I was unable to talk to someone at the site that could give me information about my car. Very frustrating experience!!! The quality of the trailer hitch and installation is TBD but I would give zero stars for communication.Paula C.

The desk rep was rude. This is the 3rd time I've had problems at this location. But, They are the closest to my house. The first problem was in 2019 and I was charged for equipment I did use, last time, I was charged for having the truck for 8 days and only had it 4 hours, this time the girl at the desk was completely rude.Juanita C.
The parking lot is the only problem. It is crowded and difficult to get in and out of. Maybe some designated areas would help.Robert H.
I scheduled for a 7 am pick up. The place was locked up. I called your reservations department and they stated that they would send me instructions to get the truck. I informed her that the trucks were blocking the exit and a chain link fense surrounded the property. I did not get my truck until 8:30 from a different location. This put me way behind and it took longer and cost me additional funds. I would be very reluctant to use your services in the futurerandy U.

Upon return of the vehicle the agents/technicians wanted to argue about who was going to induct the vehicle. Additionally, the facility had no printer or manager on the location. I could not get an invoice printed, when I asked why they didn't hace a printer?? "It corporate, not us" was the comment from the agent/technician. Had an appointment at 8 am, left the car and was told that it will be ready in 1:30 hour, never got the call, call them an was told that ot will be another hour, call back and again another hour, call and told me in 20 minutes, got there and a very rude employee told me that it will be another 3 minutes, came back and had to wait another 20 minutes - total wait 4 hoursSebastian R.
This is a show stopper. You need to tell renters that a queen box and bed needs to be loaded in a van first so they can lay flat. Otherwise they won't fit. And that's false advertising. 5 stars to entire crew when I rented.Scott M.

The van was absolutely disgusting , it was not wiped or cleaned. There were burn marks and ash in the headliner from repeated cigarette smoking, the cup holders were sticky and had an unknown substance in them, and finally the worst of it all was there were German cockroaches in the van. I had no choice but to use the van bc I was on a very tight window of time (which is why I reserved it days in advance) and I have pictures of all the disgusting things that made the experience absolutely awful.Andrea D.
I made a reservation a week in advance, Uhaul changed my pick up location a couple of days before. Went to pick up from the new location to come to find out the pickup location was closed on the weekends. Hopped over to Boynton Uhaul and they were very accommodating. The issue was more with scheduling, but the operator at this location didn't really seem to care or try and provide any accommodations. After being transferred to this location last minute and downgraded from a 26' to 20' truck, they didn't have any furniture dollies which I had rented along with the 26' truck. Furthermore I was supposed to pick up the truck at 9pm Friday and we arrived to a closed location and nothing in the lockbox (online check in oh so helpfully said "in order to start your Truck Share 24/7 reservation please wait until the location has opened at 7am" which in my mind negates the entire purpose of having a 24/7 service. The woman in the morning just seemed to not care at all and told me what I was getting, which was the wrong truck and half of my reserved equipment. I guess it helps having a captive client. Thoroughly unimpressed with the service overall, and this location didn't help that experience. To improve it would be nice if you actually made available the trucks and equipment that was reserved weeks in advance rather than anything close to what happened to me this weekend.William P.

It took me 4 visit to get my hitched installed. The staff was friendly, but the manger was hard to deal with. He wouldn't answer my calls or texts. He would have he's staff to do all the hard work. I would definitely never go back to this location.Andrea Z.

I've used this U-Haul Location before and they're an amazing location. I was supposed to have a U-Haul ready for me at The Better Choice Mail Pack & Ship, 3469 W Boynton Beach Blvd Ste 2,Boynton Beach, FL 33436 and it was beyond horrible. The store sign and website said they opened at 9am. Nobody showed up until 9:55am and said he didn't have any reservations or U-Hauls for the day although I've spoken to him on the phone to confirm and he sent me the email reservation. He just smiled and laughed, had no regard for me as a customer or my time. I called U-Haul of Boynton Beach located on 1319 N Federal Hwy N Federal Hwy, drove over there and was in and out in 10 minutes maximumAdam F.
