The 26 ft truck broke down they told me they would tow it so I left drove 50 miles to my new home to be told that I had to come pick it up and return it after the new starter was installed. I want a refund and the staff at the facility was rude and not accommodating at all. I have rented from uhaul for years and this was the worse experience I have ever had. I want a resolution to this issue.

The new automated system with the cell phone is excellent. The only complaint is that I ordered a dolly and drove all the way home before finding out that the dolly was not placed into the unit.

items ordered were not available. Seems the software thinks a location has items that are not available. Truck had a leak that wet a number of our boxes and Also place rented told us gas was given to us at one level and then receiving location said it was different and so we were told we couldn’t do anything about the gas problem other than to tell the general Mgr by email. The lady at pick up location did write down problem with leak and said general manager would be good about reading leak problem. Printer at pick up location wasn’t working.

I was way over charged on miles. I moved a couple blocks and the store is down the street. I should have had no more than 10 miles yet I was charged for 73 miles. When I questioned it I was told too bad I should have checked the millage, which I did. It's possible I missed their mistake due to being in a hurry. Either way I was completely ripped off. I will never use uhaul again! Very poor business practices.

Tamara and Mercedes are great at the front counter, they were busy and efficient they made the transaction fast, they were dealing with clients who had not reserved equipment but were able to find something smaller, the gentleman outside very friendly and fast to process check outs. this location is really small.Not a lot of room to maneuver equipment around. Also they do not have parking on or off the street if you bring your own vehicle.

I saw many horrible reviews online and was nervous to give them a go, but I did because they were the closest to my location. The general manager was nice; however, I was really upset with the online system making me pay for part of my reservations and then them not having any clue that there was a purchase. I never even received an email notification that I gave them money. It was really strange and now I need to make sure to monitor my credit bill. Adding a driver was smooth and the truck was ready to go by time the paperwork was done. Checking out was smooth sailing. Great customer service from the gentleman that we worked with. Overall, give them a try. I think considering the circumstances they are doing the best they can!

The young lady who checked me in was eating fried chicken, licking her fingers as she handled my drivers license. I also drove 10 mile , put $2 gas in and she said it was not full enough. Exactly where it was when i picked up. I had to go and put 2 more dollars in.

The location is severely understaffed on weekends. I highly recommend you do mobile check-in and pickup your vehicle before they open up. I had a reservation for a vehicle, the store line was long, by the time I got to "pickup my RESERVED vehicle", they had none left. Don't even bother calling 800-UHAUL, they are unable to do anything other than give you another location to try get a vehicle.

Rented the motorcycle trailer, excellent ride, sized perfect, only negative would be that the bottom of my frame hits the part of the trailer where the gate attaches to the flat part. Needed to add a few boards to raise the gate. Friend of mine had the same issue and it sheared off kickstand spring. Will rent again .

They need more help during peek rush hours. The car trailer I rented should be in the junkyard. The 26 footer was dirty inside with food and drinks spilled and not cleaned. Only one computer was working. Management should be retrained by brian at the dropoff location.

I live in Boca Raton and recommend to get trailer in Deerifield which not have the equipment, then they send me to pick the trailer in Boynton Beach. U-Haul Store blocked the entrace of parking with trucks. Just 01 person attending on the parking lot (Not really friendly).I can not believe that a big company as yours did not have equipoment available in Boca Raton. Not Happy

Car carrier was defective with bad tire and broken brakes. also not all lights were working, this trailer was not safe and should never be rented again. It was very old and rusty had lots of weld patches to be considered a safety issue.

I always rent at this location. Carlos os great and most times staff is great. Yesterday after i again ordered on line and again the equipment was not registered, i went in office. The main thing is when i got back there was a line 5 deep (lines are usual and super slow) and i was told to drop off the keys. I did. Then i got a email w charges reflecting almost $50 in fuel charges. #1 i returned it exactly as it was #2 i refueled $15 for 27 miles on a 15ft 1/3 loaded #3 i am now looking at a gas expense of $60+ for $27 miles. Crazy Responded to email contesting charge Never heard back. Will wait a day then contest w CC :( Fyi i am not a usual complainer in gl. Just not ok w this experience

The tried giving me the wrong truck, then changed the paperwork to reflect the new one. Well, when I went to turn in the truck, they said I had driven it 45,000 miles. Hmmm... Although the problem was resolved after much work on the receiver's part, it could have been avoided in the first place.

Appointment was rescheduled by Uhaul location to a week later than online reservation. At that time I had to wait 2 hours before the car was taken in for hitch installation. My first bad Uhaul experience

I had an 8am appointment for a hitch installation. I made the appt on 4/2/19 for 4/8/19, which was the earliest their online system would let me make it - - since the parts needed to be ordered and delivered. My appt was for a Monday morning at 8am. When I arrived, I couldn't even get my car into their facility since there were trucks (rental returns) parked everywhere. When I went in, I was told the installer wasn't there and wouldn't be all day. What????? I had an appointment! I made a new appt for this morning (Thursday). Since the guy told me I could come in on Tuesday at 5pm if I could, I called them Tuesday about 4 and said I'd like to..... that's when they told me the parts/hitch hadn't been delivered! Really????? They said they had another shipment coming in within an hour and would call me back, either way, to let me know if the parts were there. They didn't. I called again on Wednesday, apparently reaching Corporate since no one answered the phone. At any rate.... I went this morning for my 8am appointment and Sean got my hitch and wiring installed. He's a pleasant young man and it appears that he did a fine job. I'm rating this average because the Monday-Wednesday customer service was poor.... Today was great.

The location is a joke , to many vehicles and equipment. I pulled in off federal highway and could not drive thru i was greeted by a u haul employee who signaled to go back out I proceeded to back my vehicle out onto a very busy federal highway, I finally went inside, the same employee had a bad attitude. I needed the cargo trailer so I had to pull out onto federal highway agin then back down on the trailer, it’s an accident waiting to happen,shame on u haul for operating like this , i like U-Haul and rent equipment all the time but will totally avoid this location, untill they clean it up , the assistant manager Mr.Watley was very sympathetic, and accommodating, but No me = haul there anymore

I took the time to prepopulate all my pertinent information so that I could just pick up my rental at my scheduled 10 am time. That is not the case. Waste of time prepopulating system with info like drivers license # credit card address etc. The time you spend on line then having to provide all the things I already took time to prepopulate in your system is just a waste of time. I also ordered supplies on line to be picked up along with Van. That wasn't in the system either. Even though I have confirmation of both.

After a 15 hour notice, I had to drive an extra 18 miles (round trip) to pick up my truck. The compensation for that was a reduction of .30 per mile. Not really a compensation at all when came to the time wasted rescheduling the help needed nor drivetime to and from, I have used u haul many times and will continue to do so, In the future, please give more notice or a better compensation to ensure repeat business. The employee showed up at 7:45am so l sat there for 45 minutes. There is no place to park your car. The manager was there when I return the truck instead of apologizing he made it like it was a joke.

After a long drive from Houston, TX to Boynton Beach, FL, I was completely exhausted & ready to fall asleep.On Sat. March 23rd, I went to the U-Haul on Federal Rd. in Boynton Beach & there were 3 young gentleman at the counter. I asked if someone can please help me unhook the trailer from my car & they simply looked at each other & said "not it". I was a bit thrown off at first due to the fact that they were pointing at each other, while snacking on chips, saying "it's not my turn". Michael was the one who helped me in the end to take the trailer off, but that was absolutely ridiculous. I'm sorry, but if you are on break, you should not be eating or fooling around on the floor where customers can see you. In the end, these young men need to realize that they are working to provide customer service & that is the opposite of what I received.

Location and staff were great, however the truck that I rented had a bad starter and would not start 4 different times in which I had to climb under the vehicle and tap the starter to get it to turnover, also it smoked very badly out of the exhaust pipe smelling like burnt rubber until I added gas.

I was not happy because the place they told me to drop the truck at originally they did not let me leave the truck so I had to do all this extra work to drop the truck off to the new location. I was VERY upset about that!

I rent approximately 2- 3 times a month and this is the 2nd time they gave my reservation away and was forced to take a larger tralier then requried. This cost me more money for gas and ware n tear on my vehicle pluse the inconvenience of having to manipulate Parking a larger rental.

I appreciated being shown how to operate the lights and windshield wipers but we did not check the AC unit when I picked up the truck. The control knob was not operating properly because the knob was broken. I called in to report the broken knob. It would be a good idea to make sure the AC/heater knob is operating properly before the next person uses the truck. Thank you

I was charged for 8 extra miles which I only drove 4 miles, and they charged for 2 gallons of gas, which doesn't make any sense since I only drove 4 miles...does this trunk consumes 4 miles every gallon of gas???

Make sure to have all parts necessay to do the Job. Since it was schedule for over 2 weeks and confirm the day before to make sure all parts were received. That was not the case. Know i have to go another day for them to compllete the job.

We prepaid for a fast checkout and there was some problems with the software, it kept asking for our card, and then rejecting it, as there was no balance. The gentleman helping us was very persistent and helpful but it took over an hour to get the problem straightened out and put us behind. The location was fine, but I see nowhere else to complain about your prepay process.
