This was an hour and half drive for me to pick up. Which messed up my plans for moving what I was picking up. Do not understand how you can rent a truck and its not at the location you picked. If I wanted another location I would have picked that one.
Paula A.I am absolutely livid about the return policy and being misled about how the check in process absolutely has to be done at the site but that is not clearly indicated in the contract at the outset. I rented a truck for my daughter to move home but for some reason they wouldn't let me do the check in (on my dime) even though I had PROOF the truck was returned, because I wasn't AT THE LOCATION I couldn't return it through the website. This is basically lied about on the contract and I ended up paying for a full tank of gas AND ANOTHER $80 because I was not ALLOWED to upload the geotagged picture of the truck back in its spot because I was not there. ZERO STARS DO NOT RECOMMEND UHAUL AT ALL

Salvatore B.You Canceled my first reservation even though it was an after hours pick up. And you charged me $50 which I knew none of this till I came to pick up the van that you canceled. I had to reserve again. I left a message on the reservation that I would be running late for pick up and again you canceled. I dealt with the attending guy at the location and he was horrible and rude. I told him I had a message attached to the reservation and he said he doesn't even bother looking at them. I can honestly say I will most likely never rent from Uhaul again.
Mark S.Try cleaning the ashes out of the cup holder and actually taking care of your vehicles so I don't have to return them halfway through my move due to lack of driveability and then making it impossible to get a refund after a major inconvenience
benjamin B.I dropped off the truck but it wasn't recorded as returned so I had to return the next day to get them to record the return. I went through huge hassle to pick up the truck in CT (all Kinds of online verification) yet dropping off the truck had no checks and balances.

Bob R.Had an issue with the equipment in Iowa on our way back to NY. We contacted the Roadside assistance and they were able to get us to a U-Haul location in Iowa that was able to put in new rivets on the door latch since the original ones broke and the door wouldn't stay closed. Service was very good and we finished the trip on time.

JOHN S.The first location in Elbridge was terrible. This location was closer to where we had to pick things up. Going to the Auburn location caused us to go over on our mileage. We also had to wait to get a truck for an hour and a half at the new location. We had driven over 3 hours and had to drive back. The Elbridge location did not leave the key for the truck in the lock box. The customer service rep was helpful on the phone to find us the Auburn location.

STEPHEN H.I have rented a number of trucks from you in the past. This truck, by far was the worst I ever rented. The tire pressure lights were on the entire time, the truck itself was making a weird noise and the cargo bed was filthy and filled with debris. This truck needs some TLC.

I was charged a $20 after hours charge even though I tried to use the share url at the store and it failed then I went back to my office and used it on my computer and it seemed to hang up at the location finder stage. As well I put $15 in pas before dropping it off bring it to the 3/4 mark I was told to be at but was still charged $21,88. I'm not happy at all.
James L.Not OVERCHARGE someone 30$ the NEXT day,, without telling them. Then when the custo.er calls you say you can't do anything. And the back of the truck was so FULL of sawdust.

I asked if they could only credit back my 1 day rental of about $25.00 since I did not use it, and they refused to. I actually bought 1 of your used trucks, and refer a lot of my clients to you for rent trucks from you, and I will no longer do that. Just think, you just lost a customer over $25.00!!
Joseph C.Ripped off on fuel and return fee. When rented truck was not full. Returned very close to original amount, but charged $30. Asked employee he said 12mpg, as it wasn't full I needed to calculate. 74 miles so i put back 6.5 gallons. But still charged $30. Told him i would return late Sunday, he said just put keys in box. Charged $20 for not online checking it back in. He never mentioned that step. Custom service would not help and rude saying i signed contract.

Gerald N.I know there is no level check on windshield washer fluid, but I ran out on my 2nd try..had to buy a gallon. Dealers could top the fluid reservoir off.
Steven C.Original dates were supposed to be 12/26 drop off to movers and 12/30 unload to me. Continuously had to follow up as no updates were given to me. Had to speak with multiple people each time because of poor communication between locations as well as movers. Questions I had were unable to be answered by both Uhaul staff and movers. Was not able to confirm delivery until 12/5, at 6 pm the night before delivery, a whole week later than originally anticipated. Items were damaged and dinged up. For the excessive time it took, poor customer service and quality of care, I will not be using this service again.
