Have a truck available when a customer comes in to pick it up. I was told a truck was not available at my reservation location. I was sent to another location which upon arrival did not have my truck either. I waited a half hour as they tried to locate a truck and then they sent me back to my original reservation location. When I got there they said they did not have a truck only local trucks. There were about 25 trucks in the parking lot all reserved for local moves sitting idle not making any money while customers do not have a truck. Then they told me they located the truck about 50 minutes away from me. I went home to my house before leaving for that location and then when I left to go up to the new location they contacted me and said that they had a truck at my original location. Basically I was going in circles For two hours trying to get a truck that I reserved and in the end I still didn't get the truck I reserved and was put into a bigger truck which cost me more in gas on my 500 mile trip. And on top of that I was renting a A car trailer and had to split my reservation up. This caused two transactions. When I looked at both receipt upon leaving I found that the trailer had to be returned in one location and the truck in a separate location. When I return to the store and ask the attendant he said don't worry about it just bring it back to one location. Upon doing so I was charged an extra fee for not dropping it off at the location stated on my reservation.Kenneth S.

The particular vehicle was on its last leg. Could barely get up any hills even with nothing in it. Barely ran. Thank goodness only had about 10 miles to move. I have used this location before and always received a well maintained vehicle.Greg D.

Streamline interoffice communications! Change software if needed! I received MANY calls and emails from MANY different people after the arrangements were made. The left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. The wait to contact the Woodstock office and or a company representative who could not make a decision or help you could take up to one half an hour or more! The actual service was great! First off- uhaul decided to switch my pickup location WITHOUT telling me. No email. No call. That set us back over an hour on our move. Finally we arrive to pick up the uhaul at the new location and they tell me they don't have the two dollies that I bought. That's a joke. Set us back MORE time since we didn't have the proper equipment. THIRD and MOST irritating is that as soon as we start to drive away the truck says it needs oil!!!!!! So guess who had to spend the money on oil so the engine didn't blow up mid trip!!??? ME! This was a horrible experience and I will not be recommending it to anyone.Douglas K.

check in and facility and lot all excellent. truck interior: a go box of food was found from a previous rental behind the seat. center seat was sticky, dash was dirty/ no worries, i had wipes and took care of it. uhaul is getting better and better though, and the price was about 1/3rd of other quotes. i am pretty satisfied!David H.

This was the worst experience I ever had moving. I has to wait 5 days to get my money back they charged me for a bad charge. Thus caused me to loose some of my belongings because I had to get a smaller truck. If I ever move again I will not use uhaul. The Georgia braches are all messed up like everything else in Georgia. This location in Woodstock had everything available including the ability to connect to insure the wiring on my old truck was able to connect to the lights on the trailer I rented. The Owner/Manager helped me and took excellent care of me. I would highly recommend this location for not only trailer needs but it appears they have storage facilities too.mike R.

I understand why your facility is leanly staffed in our current tight job market, it is the same with my workplace. I found your employees to be hardworking and courteous. However, the pickup I rented was filthy, smelly and had numerous damages. A lot has changed since I last rented a U-Haul vehicle 6 years ago. There is no longer a personnel to assist with vehicle inspection when leaving the facility. I only realized that I was supposed to inspect the vehicle myself and text my findings via a texted link after the fact. Which is fine, had I been informed to do so by a human, specifically the one who handed the keys, rental contract and told me the location of said vehicle. The link is time sensitive and had expired by the time I discovered it. When I called customer service, they were courteous, professional and concerned. They offered to send another link, but given that I'm in my 60's and not tech savvy, I opted to return to the rental center to interact with a person. All of the issues I experienced could have been resolved had I received the same level of customer service I received 6 yrs. ago. A person doing a quick physical inspection of the rental vehicle, logging all the existing damages and giving me a quick instructions on operating the vehicle. I've been a loyal U-Haul customer for 25 yrs., however, after this last experience, I may consider taking my business elsewhere. U-Haul used to be better.Lilani E.

My truck was not ready and they closed the location even though I chose a none contact option for 9am. It took me almost 3 hours on the phone. By the time i got to my apartment my movers charged me extra because they had to wait 3 more hours. I ended up having to do stuff myself. The truck had a bunch of cigarettes inside. During thr trip i turned on the AC and it smelled so much like cigarettes that I started having an asthma attack and had to stop to use my inhaler. This was such a bad service I will never use uhaul again. I rented my truck 2 weeks prior to not have any issues getting a truck, but it seemed to have made it worstâ€¦Juan S.

The reason I selected No on equipment is that I rented a motorcycle trailer and the ramp was short. My sport bike bottomed out where ramp attached to trailer. If my sport bike bottomed out, a cruiser like a big Harley or Indian would incur serious damage. The battered condition of the edgo of trailer indicates I'm far from the first to encounter this problem.Allen S.

The truck was old and needs maintenance. The steering was difficult and made a loud squealing noise when you made turns. The brakes were very worn and you had to press down very hard and hold it for the truck to stop.mechla B.

He was belittling to his coworkers and when we returned the vehicle he refused to help us, scoffed that we didn't know the check in process, and directed us to a check in lane where no one would come help us. We just returned our vehicles trailer to this location but both people that we worked with were very helpful. The one person inside help my wife with a slight problem with being charged for not returning to a specific location. We never put in a specific location when setting up the U-haul because we were moving to a unknown area so we didn't know were there best place was to return our equipment. She was very helpful at getting the issue resolved and getting us a refund for the extra charges. The gentleman that helped me move the trailer into position during return even back up the trailer because I hadn't had any experience backing up trailers before. We had our dog with us inside the front cabin and he had no problem just getting in the truck with him to get me taken care of. The back up camera in the rear view mirror is horrible hard to gauge distance. Other that that it was an awesome rental especially when Home Depot rental canceled on me. I will never go back to them for a rental. Oh and btw I bought garnet boxes from Home Depot that fell apart on me, I repurchased more from Uhaul MUCH better quality and held up. Home Depot will be getting back the crap torn boxes I tried to use.Stephanie T.

My box was lost, I was charged an extra $1400 on accident, I repeatedly asked for other cards to be removed from the account, they weren't removed and they were charged again, I closed my account and was still charged again (on one of the cards I have asked to be removed countless times, as it is not my card). I have had multiple problems in three different states with three different U-Haul and each time was disappointing and honestly, I could put together a lawsuit for all the mismanagement of my account and belongings, as well as emotional distress. I will never recommend any U-Haul facility to anyone I know. In fact, I will go out of my way to make sure everyone knows about the experiences I have had over the past two years. Customer service was good but sometimes it was hard to get someone on the phone and the wait time when going into the facility was long as there was never anybody up front. They were always in back. Also, I cleaned out my storage unit on 8/21/21. I turned in my card and took my lock I purchased off the door. The manager was not there so I was told that they would handle the closing of my agreement. A week later I received an email stating I was behind on my payment (8/22/21). I responded to the email that I had cleared out my storage unit a week earlier. This survey says I cleared it out on 8/26/21 which is untrue. I am reporting this just in case I'm charged for days that I didn't use. Other than that, this facility was clean and convenient. The employees were nice and knowledgeable.
