Location is very well run with accomidating staff. Not every location helps with trailer hook ups. This location gets it done befor and after everytime!

The worker that showed the unit and explained how to use the keypad, etc was fantastic! He was helpful and showed step by step how to access it, updated my passcode to make it easier for me, showed all the amenities (restroom , push carts, garage drop off, and share pile). I did not expect such great service and the worker was extremely kind.

This was 26 miles from my preferred pick-up location. When I arrived, the attendant had to do a quick clean of the windshield since the truck had not been properly checked in from the last rental. The app for reviewing the truck's condition would not work on my phone and I was not able to upload pictures of damage I discovered. During my own pre-trip inspection, I discovered the driver front tire looked low. When the attendant checked it, it only had 60 psi, when it should have had 110 psi. As a commercially licensed driver, I thoroughly inspect trucks before taking on the road, and since the unit had not been properly checked in, and the tire was not in the proper condition for an out of state trip, I decided to check the engine oil, and found it to be low. I notified the attendant and he added oil. Overall it took an hour from my scheduled pick-up time until I was on the road with the unit. Perhaps if the unit had been properly checked in my experience would have been better and I would have said yes to recommending to a friend, however the attendant that took care of me was very helpful in getting things taken care of. It just ate up an extra hour on top of an extra 45 drive due to the location being 26 miles out of my way.

I had stopped by this location earlier in the week and spoke to Patrick the manager. he was very thorough and explained how the rentals worked and promotions with 1 free rent on a storage unit. He took great care and informed me of how picking up in a location and dropping off at another worked before i rented it. Then when we dropped off Zak helped us and he was also excellent. I even stopped back by to ask some questions when I got the charges on credit card and he wa very thorough. We will be utilizing this in the future and think we will stick to picking up and dropping off at u haul facilities. There people are way more professional and informative. thanks again for this service

Deodorizing and vacuuming the seats would be appropriate after each use. This particular cargo van I rented clearly had a smelly dog in it at some point as there was dog hair on the passenger seat and a strong dirty dog smell. Despite this, the guys at the Woodstock facility are pleasant. I also have a storage unit I use for my business. The lady who keeps the place clean I always see busy and she is very nice. She also does a great job keeping the facility clean.

Your tech is excellent and the set messages worked well, but a bit more human contact, high touch, would make your service excellent. How about a courtesy phone call a couple of days before pickup, just to alleviate nerves?

Trick I rented was not there for rental. There was no option to rent a larger truck offered due to space confinement of a tiny driveway behind a house. Apparently the prior renting party did not return the vehicle I reserved. Things happen but if given a phone call I could have gone to a different location. I ended up with too small a truck, movers waiting, and having to take a couple hours more of movers hourly time at $150/hr to do a double move

The communication and follow up are not so great. Also, reaching out to the correct U-Haul representative is very difficult. There was an unnecessary wait/delay after it was taken from my location. Moving help did not work well. Overall this is an Ok experience. I expected better moving experience.

There were many errors with scheduling between the website & the locally contracted company. Thankfully the discrepancies were able to be worked out & no issues came up, but I can imagine that not always being the case.

Wouldn't work with me after i did get a job to pay off my past balance. Then tried 3 or more times to charge my co signors credit card WITHOUT any verbal permission from either one of us. Patrick said my stuff wasn't going to get auctioned off...then i get an email my stuff will get auctioned. I hate you guys and will never use you ever again. Have a great day!!!!

This guy was great. He was starting to give me a bit of hassle for the worn tires and the spilled paint on the sides , but backed off when I told him it was the only one the rental place had that would fit the motorcycle that O was hauling .

Through my own fault, I had to wait for a 5x5 storage unit as they go fast. I have one now and Patrick was so friendly and helpful! He explained all the particulars of the unit so I know my way around now. It is going to be so helpful “staging” for a cross country move in the near future. Thanks for the great facility!

FIX YOUR APP I TEND TO RETURN AFTER HOURS LAST FEW TIME IT TOOK OVER 45 MINUETS TO DO THE RETURN PROCESS. Never said it was confirmed returned had to double check by calling the 1800 number but sucks when the 1800 number is closed and can get a confirmation.

No one at the Woodstock location could give me a straight answer regarding the shipment of my U-Boxes and scheduling the shipment. I attempted multiple times to schedule shipping in order to lock in the quote I was given by U-Haul to ship my pods and was repeatedly told by the employees and GM here that it wasn't possible to schedule shipping until both of my U-Boxes were fully loaded and returned to the warehouse. After spending over an hour on the phone with a U-Haul U-Box specialist, the specialist told me the information I was receiving from Woodstock U-Haul is 100% inaccurate, and that shipping CAN be arranged ahead of time! It was a very frustrating process, especially since the rates jumped over $300 from what U-Haul initially quoted me, to what my Woodstock location wanted to charge once both U-Boxes were back in their possession because they never allowed me to schedule shipping ahead of time!

Made a reservation online for a storage locker that was available, 10x5 and when I went in to get it and sign said it was not available and someone rented it out even though I had a reservation on it. Guy also said reservation don’t mean nothing and it’s first com first serve. Made me upset. But I told him that’s wrong and I had get the 5x10 instead.

Great storage, was a little worried by the roach trap(?) in my room when I moved in but all my stuff seems uninfested. I have plenty of storage in my new place so I don't need to rent space anymore. When I moved out there seemed to be some things breaking down. there had been a standing pool in the loading bay for a month. And the air conditioner made a large clanging sound when I was putting boxes in my car. These didn't influence my decision to move out but they will influence my decision to recommend this storage to others.

Need to consider a discount for customers already renting and no other unit available. Red Dot Storage is almost half the rate and staff unwilling to accept competitor price matching. Now in paying $49 for a 5x8 and $119 for a 8x10 which seems quite costly when I've been a customer for over a year. I don't have the option to change over to Red Dot because I'm injured and can't lift. Not good customer service.

The only thing I think should change is if you move out early there should be a prorated refund . I switched from one unit to another and it was prorated . The facility was convenient and a great place to store my stuff for the short time I needed.

Well maintained facility, easy contacless setup was very good during pandemic. After accessing my new storage unit, I did later stop by the office and the staff was great, very helpful. Best Uhaul experience and best storage facility experience I've had and I've been using Uhaul and other moving/storage services all around the country for over twenty years. The Eastwood Drive Woodstock, IL team does a great job!

I was surprised at how clean the facility is. I also like the temp controlled environment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive with others in the area. Very secure. I highly recommend this storage facility.

The only negative comment that I would make is when we first rented our units a few months back most of the employees were not wearing masks in the office or storage areas. Given that these areas are enclosed, I feel that your facility should follow the same mask mandates that other businesses are required to follow.

When I was there closing out my locker and yes it's during the pandemic time wear masks should be worn there was an employee there which I did not deal with but just noticed he was not wearing a mask. The guy I didn't work with soon as I walked into the office area he put his on which I appreciated. I've heard bad experiences about storage units but this one I had an excellent experience it was well cleaned and they were always helpful
