We had a hard time finding which truck was ours, and where to park it upon returning. Information on opening and closing the back would have been helpful but it wasn't that complicated once we figured it out.

Robert G.When I went to pick up my equipment, the store operators told me they had no appliance dolly in stock - they only had a display model. For a bit they were adamant that my contract does not guarantee equipment and that there was nothing they could do, but I insisted that a dolly was necessary to my move (It was! There's no way I was getting my washer/dryer on/off the truck without a dolly, not to mention other heavy boxes!) and eventually they sent me to another store to get a dolly. It was good of them to solve the problem, but it was also a problem of their creation, so... I guess everything worked out in the end. Also, I've moved twice this summer. Both time I've had the store make significant changes to my order. It is frustrating to have expectations and plan a move - especially out of state - show up and be told that my trucks a much bigger size (I am surprised the 26 foot trucks are legal to drive with a regular license) and, as mentioned above, a necessary moving tool would not be available. The first time was more frustrating, as the store operators at the Klamath branch told me that my discount was not possible to transfer over after switching truck sizes.

MICHAEL W.I rented the van with assurance that it would fit a large size queen bed then drove 90 miles to pick it up. The bed did not fit and the manager and assistant manager were dismissive, when 3 intelligent adults insisted that it did not fit. We could only get the mattress or the box springs in the van. Not both. I will never recommend this location to another person. I felt insulted. Do not say that it would ever fit a studio apartment when you can't even get a bed into it. I would have rented the small truck for the same price. Very unhappy with customer service.

Charat S.Nobody answers the phone at the Woodland location, it's impossible to get a hold of an on-site customer service at Woodland. The national number is not helpful in this instance. The moving help assigned/hired for me upon arrival, which I did not request, cancelled on me twice. I still ended up having to pay an extra delivery fee from U-haul which was unexpected and given the service I received I think inappropriate. I did ultimately get my U box on the guaranteed last date, but had it not been for a zillion phone calls and a lot of stress it wouldn't of happened. Poor communication all around. If you ever have issues getting your U box, try and get directly to the U-Box transportation department. They were very nice and much more helpful.

Enrico P.The staff seemed overwhelmed. Understandable, as it was a Saturday morning. One person at the counter, two hustling to get things done. The woman at the counter was pleasant, kept apologizing for the wait and offered people to use the app to streamline the process. I was able to complete my reservation while on line, so it was quick when I got to the counter. I've rented from this facility a lot, and always have clean equipment and nice folks. Expect a wait during busy times, but that is not unexpected! Kudos to the staff for working hard to provide great customer service.

I called to ask about the price difference and the guy that helped me was extremely helpful and broke everything down even more than asked in the sweetest way. Great customer service. I have used this location and the experience has been great! Friendly competent staff. Easy reservation experience. Trucks were clean and ready at rental time etc. I will use this location in the future for any of my truck rental needs and would recommend them to my friends as well.

John W.I live in Yuba city and first I went to U haul in yuba city I had to wait for 30 minutes because the guy was on lunch when he came back he told me that he can't rent me a trailer because hes the only one at the front desk. then I called the u haul in woodland ca some girl answered the phone and put me on hold and after 20 minutes the call dropped I called back and some guy answered and I asked him about the trailer he said he has the trailer but he can only rent it me if I bring it back to the same store I had no other choice so I said okay I'll bring it back to the same location
MUHAMMAD G.Someone should regulate their rental practice. I feel they duped me into huge post rental fee's. The rental price is $19.95 supposedly but Then they tuck you into insurance and some other things which is fine so it comes to $86 as you're still renting it pre-rental. And then they tell you how you the gas has to be at the same line which mine was damn close maybe a hair off when I brought it back and it was clean when I brought it back and and all that and I brought it back on the time that they told me and still they wanted to charge me another $113. I don't think that I should owe that because I didn't do anything wrong I brought it back with the gas in it and it was clean and everything works and nothing was broken so why would I owe any more money? It makes no sense to me no matter how they explain it it makes no sense to me. The only thing that was messed up is that I was renting it from the get-go I needed it for one day and maybe two So I went through two people one person started me another person finished me checking it out and after I left with the van I get a text saying it's supposed to be back in 4 hours Well how is it supposed to be back in 4 hours if I rented it for the whole day and possibly two So I spoke to someone that evening who said Well if you bring it back by 4:45 tomorrow we won't charge you. So I said okay I can do that had it back 4:45 with the gas it's clean nothing's wrong So how do I owe $113?. So I think definitely there's some cheating going on and they're all in on it They want to cheat the customer out of as much as they can. I mean if I would have known it was going to be like that I could have done it all with my car and would have most people would

katherine C.I should mention when I went to refill truck before returning the gas poured out underneath the truck. I paid $25 for gas. I took photos and reported to gas station. When I delivered truck I also teported to them. i have no idea why gas spilled out underneath, perhaps a leak.

Because the cost to get by is so expensive and schedules are so tight they can use everything dollar to get by. And if they leave early the unit is rentable to make money again right after the person leaves and you could be over lapping the rent charges.
