Nothing I can think of. I believe it was a manager who helped me tremendously when I had difficulties getting the ball mount to fit into my hitch, and to get the locking hitch pin to work. It was cold and rainy and she far exceeded any expectations of assistance I had.

When I first moved in, I had a bit of a rocky start, but I think that was more on me than Uhaul. After getting sorted out, it was smooth sailing. I had easy access to my things for 2 years and never ran into any issues. When I moved out, Vanessa was really friendly and helpful too. If I ever need a storage unit again, UHaul will be my first choice.

They are charging me for a full tank when i didn’t receive the uhaul with a Full tank. I received it with 1/3 of a tank.

There’s always an issue here. Last time my rental was supposed to be ready at 6, but they didn’t open until 7am. This most recent timed the truck wasn’t checked in before I arrived for the rental so I had to wait for that. Also, the bathroom was disgusting.

I am very satisfied with the truck itself, but upset with the service, or rather with the incomprehensible transactions with my card. I was charged the same amount twice! The final amount written off does not match the invoice received. I was also upset that at the time of returning the truck no one talked to me, did not check the condition of the truck and its mileage, did not issue a final receipt... and then, after some time, I received strange write-offs

Our center storage unit on the 2nd floor could have been better lit. For some reason the center lighting did not turn on. And it was very hot in there during the winter months. But yes, overall it was a fantastic storage facility. Thank you!

UHaul's phne system is UNACCEPTABLE!! And the Customer Service unit that is central should be renamed Customer Serve ASS!! Those reps would not know the difference from their anus and a hole in the ground. I would fire those individuals I talked with for their unacceptable service! Trying to charge me for a full day when I was minutes late is a giant FYou! The guy in the branch definitely tried to make up for it. I will question when thinking of renting a UHaul vehicle.

Enclosed trailer was very dirty (mud, rocks, etc) and stunk like a rancid mildew odor. Trailer required a scissor jack to lift tongue onto hitch with only medium sized load; should have a tongue jack installed.

Convenient location for us. The representative who hooked up the trailer had a hard time doing so, and then the representative who unhooked it when we returned had a hard time unhooking it. Not sure if that was because the equipment wasn't working right or whether it was due to the cold weather.

Waited for 10 minute with no one in site so I called the main #. The associate had been working on a trailer outside, so we were glad someone was there to give us our keys. He repeated my price, but I asked why the screen showed something $80 more. Old system needs to be fixed.

The truck stalled at least 6 times and on the way back it died twice while driving around 45 mph. If possible I would like a full refund. That truck definitely needs to be looked at.

I've rented three times from this location. Two of them were this past week. Everything went smoothly with no surprises. The time you spend in the office answering questions and getting the keys is about 10 minutes, with no hidden fees. Highly recommend this place.

I almost didn't want to leave a review because then the secret is out.... This location rocks! The people are nice, patient and thoroughly explain the pick up and drop off process. The truck I had was spotless and well maintained. They actually had the truck they confirmed in my reservation which was not the case with 2 other locations I made reservations with that day. The whole process was convenient, easy and cheaper than I thought it was going to be. 100% recommend.

The vehicle I rented looked clean, but when I got inside, it clearly had be used to smoke marijuana in. It reeked of weed. I had to breathe in that smell for hours while I drove the car. It was very unpleasant and I had a headache when I was done with the rental.

9/23/23 1st employee didn’t show up until 7:15a. I don’t know the procedures like the staff does, my first time doing this. Explanations need to be slow and more thorough. It took too long for any of the three garage doors to open as the sensors didn’t open automatically with the truck in front of the garage. a week later the following Saturday, I came to empty the storage unit and borrow a second truck, and the gentleman wearing glasses was much more helpful than the week before. With the young lady I was working with.

Super clean, climate controlled building. Always felt safe as the parking lot is well lit. Easy check-in/out process. High availability of flat carts to move heavy items. There is an area in the lobby area where you can recycle items you no longer need or want and someone else can take them. And vice versa. Overall, the 3+ years we rented a unit at U-Haul couldn’t have gone better.

My locker alarms go off everytime I open the door. Restrooms are not cleaned enough nor resupplied regularly. Trash bins are always full. Toilets are always leaking, plugged up or filled with human waste. Handicap men's toilets are always out of service or unavailable. Ventilation is poor always freezing or NO circulation at all. Building exterior doors are regularly left unlocked. Recently on the upper floors there have been bugs as well as on first floor lots of ants. Sprinkler heads have been leaking on third floor for weeks in restroom. Restroom floor has been covered in water many times recently due to this leaking,toilets and occasionally sinks. Carpeting on 2/3 floors is a mess. Rarely cleaned. Large crack on third floor window,been that way for weeks.

I was given permission to have my UBoxes delivered to this facility and then learned on the day that the boxes were going to be delivered that the manager, Orran Arnold, vetoed this the night before and nobody gave me a heads up. After an hour and a half of talking to different customer service reps somebody was able to get a hold of Orran’s boss and override the last minute veto (shoutout to Vanetta, you deserve a raise). Not even 3 days later, I find out that Orran put a lock on my unit for “lack of payment” even though I have the credit card bill to prove that I absolutely paid my rent. I don’t know what’s happening over there, but this makes me very nervous about staying.

I have nothing but good things to say about your location! The keycard check-in and entry, climate control, the alarmed storage cubicle doors, the indoor loading bay... I wish you had been open here when I first had to store my crap. My old bicycle might not have gotten so trashed, but thanks to Public Storage and their indifference to the temperature extremes of Chicago's weather, I have to get rid of it.

Uhaul Moving and Storage of Woodfield is great! The location is really convenient to a multitude of highways. It’s super clean. Very secure. I love their loading and unloading area. You can pull you car or truck right in and get out of the weather. They have plenty of moving carts. The staff has always been very willing to help and answer questions. I was very happy with the service there. I would highly recommend this location!
