Need more staff on weekends. 2 staff to deal with a line up out to the curb! I had a reservation but waited in line for over 40 mins to pick up a van for a 3 hour rental, leaving me with 2 hours to actually use the van. Mileage and gas tank readings were not what was on my rental sheet but I didn't want to go back into that huge line to argue it. No walk around inspection of the vehicle. I put extra gas in so I wouldn't get charged for the discrepancy with the paperwork for a short trip to take a mattress to the dump. That line was ridiculous. At least have one line for reservations and 1 for other rentals. There were also several customers waiting outside for propane but nobody to serve them. A guy was waiting outside for over half an hour and then told he had to get to the back of the rental line outside (over 20 people thick) if he wanted to be served for propane. Not a good way to run a business. I wouldn't go to this location again. I felt so bad for those staff members. So many angry customers and it wasn't their fault at all just way too understaffed. Clearly uhaul has the sales to warrant more staff.JULIE F.

Long wait lines. Truck didn't have a full tank of gas. Returning it with with the desired quantity of gas is a money grab. You either didn't fill up enough and have to pay extra, or you over fill it.Thiago F.

1. Train your staff properly. 2. Hire people who don't lie to the customer. 3. Have signs in Canada in CAD not USD on website and store for Canada customers. 4. Trash existing process and have an efficiency expert design the rental process. Some examples for staff training improvement: A. The individual in general manager t-shirt was moving around pretending to be busy not helping at all. B. One customer representative was on phone for over 90 minutes of the 120 minutes we were waiting at the counter chatting with another colleague discussing some other customers personal information. C. One representative was offering heavy discount to a customer because of a trailer goof up that was done by the staff there. D. One customer was being told that the prices online are us only and was provided different quotes than estimated.DEPIKA D.

I can sincerely say that there was not anything lacking in the service provided at my location. Customer service was courteous and the representative facilitated my transaction impeccably. Returning the truck was very feasible. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Gracias.Hassan I.
Waited 5-7 minutes inside for someone to come in. It was by chance as the person was surprised to see me. Did me a "favour" by changing my rental truck to one that was closer to the door since it was raining. The truck ended up being at the back of the lot. After leaving I noticed my invoice still had the original truck number (what a shocker). I did my business and returned the truck with a note to say it was not the truck on my invoice and I noted the mileage and I returned the fuel to the original level. I was still billed for the truck on my invoiced with 0 kilometres charged and the invoice was still $100. Charged me double for insurance ($30 instead of $15). Don't have an hour to waste trying to straighten it out with someone who doesn't care. The quality of service is a joke. Hopefully I never have to rent a truck again. If I do, it won't be with u-haul.Matthew T.

There was only 2 people working with about 25 people waiting in line for drop offs pick up and assistance. They were struggling. The original pick up I had at 3511 Wyandotte was terrible had no truck for me, and was useless at helping me. Told me to go to Dougal which then I was giving the wrong truckKEVINJAMESKEVAH B.

Poor customer service. Employee said it was in good working condition. I had my doubts, when we got to our location we double checked and noticed wire cut for turning signal. I am used to renting equipment & returning it with a "full" tank of gas, I did so on this order to learn that I had been given the unit with "less than a 1/2 tank when I rented & that gas is not "reenburseable"! I effectively gave your location almost $70 worth of gas unnecessarily. It wont happen again because I will not rent from Uhaul again.DAVIDD H.

Mitch and Kyle at the Dougall Ave. (Windsor) location were excellent to work with. They set us up with the best trailer to travel across Canada and all the way up to the Yukon. They helped with various products we would need for packing and suggestions about tying down the items. They took time to make sure we were set for a good experience. The trailer performed well with no issues and the drop off in Whitehorse was easy and seamless with the help of Josie. Overall we had a great experience with UHaul equipment and representatives. My only complained would be that my credit card number was taken over the phone and was not inputted into the computer at that time. My online booking said 24 hours rental, but when I showed up in the morning, I was told that they'll only provide 8 hours rental. I mentioned that I needed for 24 hours and they said take it or leave it. They also put $100 penalty on the new agreement if i don't return by 5pm on the same day. I wasn't able to finish all my moving and will now need to find other ways to move my stuff.Mohammad U.
I called 5 times over 2hrs phone was never answered, that being said they were incredibly busy. The employees were friendly and helpful the issue is with UHAUL computer systems. They were running so slow that it takes 10 times longer to service people. it took me over 35mins (20mins in line) 15mins to rent a truck. The staff is good it is the computers which is beyond their control and apparently happens all the time. They need to invest in better wifi and internet connection.This was the sole reason for the back-up. So please invest in a better computer system. Plus we rented a 10' cube truck we rented needs some shock, uncomfortable drive. All of that aside I will continue to rent from UHAUL as it is a good overall service.MICHAEL D.

Jacqueline at the Dougal U-Haul was awesome. With short staff she was checking people in and had to come out and hook up my trailer. It was getting really busy and we ran into issues with the hitch I brought. She help me get the hitch to work, and really saved my day. I hope U-Haul appreciate the extra work, and customer service she provided. Being short staffed and going the extra mile to help out a customer. She is a very valuable asset and U-Haul should make sure she is justly paid for her efforts.MICHAEL D.

I had mouse droppings in boxes that had been chewed open. Two monthly payments were taken out after I moved out in good standing and even rented the equipment from you to move out. It took 4 phone calls for me to resolve this matter and have the monies put back on my card along with numerous hours of cleaning everything after discovering the mouse droppings..
