It's was hard to close back door and the van made weird noise when you shift. The van was clean except for a fish fella wrapper under passenger seat. This is just minor things . Last time I rented was good. Only suggested is have the vans at least 3/4 full it's a pai going g back I to wait and tell them it not at the mark they said it supposed to be at. Customers should have a ten minute limit on renting a vehicle. Signs should be posted. When I was there there was a lineup to the street because two people could not get their act together at the desk. Saturday morning there should be more than two people on rental duty. Chairs available to sit down would be nice. This is not a reflection on the staff. They were doing their best. I had a reservation for a vehicle but still had to wait a long time. Should be a desk for reserved clients. What is the point of reserving a vehicle if you have to wait anyway?DAVIDJ M.

You need to improve the system regarding how much gas is in the truck when we are taking the truck and when we are returning it. For example I had to relief the tank 3 different time to get the correct amount of gas needed. My suggestion is to link it with MPG Mile/Gallon ( Km/ Litter. It means if you fixed the stander that if you drive 10 miles then you need to fill the 1 Gallon ( according to Vehicle type).. in that eaNADEEM M.

When we went to drop off the truck at 12:03 am after a very exhausting day of moving, the drop-off still was not the correct Dougall Avenue location, and therefore, we couldn't drop the truck off. We had to wait over 15 minutes on the phone for the very nice customer service rep to answer, and then change the location so we could drop the truck off...then we had to take pictures....and all of that if we didn't want you guys to charge us another $20...and THEN you charge us $6.51 for us going to Amherstburg to drop off some of the furniture instead of straight from London to Windsor. Really u-haul? Both of these charges feel so much like nickel and dime-ing. And after an exhausting day of moving, was soooooo stressful. Not sure why getting a little more money from us is worth us leaving with the feeling that you don't value your customers and want to try to trick or inconvenience us just to get some more coin. Anyway, that's my feedback. The truck worked well for us, but we don't have a good feeling about dealing with u-haul.IANM B.
You need more staff. Always waiting there. Why would the same people who were waiting on customers in front be receiving vehicles when they are returned while people are standing in line. I ordered online. I asked for a 15 foot truck for 8 hours. I input all my info online. When I got there I waited 10 minutes to get service and then had to repeat all my information. Then she gave me a 10 foot truck for 5.5 hours.CARLYP L.

I ordered a 26' truck on the phone with Uhual phone centre. A regional coordinator called back and confirmed the availability with us for a truck to picked up in amherstburg. When we went to pick up the truck it was a 15' and totally useless. I had to drive 40 minutes and wait for Dougal location to open with men sitting and waiting for 2 hours to load. Then the best you had was a 20. My 2 day move became a 3 day move. Not impressed at all.Ty C.

The staff was amazing hard working and very accommodating. I called this location first fr a trailer said they did have one for the day I needed it. So I called Forest glade location they didn't have one but they located one in Essex great booked it . Got to Essex to pickup and they did not have the one I need they found me one back at Dougall location the kid in Essex went out of his way for .was not impressed with all the driving I did to finally get the trailer. No staff. There was 6 people in line waiting. I waited a total of 47 minutes to return my trailer. There was a 20 foot truck parked in the entrance of this location when I arrived, blocking traffic, when I left almost an hour later, it was still there parked in the entrance. When I complained to the agent, she said they are understaffed. You're about to lose a lot of business from me. Location and staff were ok, but when we rented a 26" truck and were told we could only get a 15 foot truck the day before we needed it, the person really didn't seem concerned about how this would impact our move. I was told there were no 26" trucks and they don't rent them for out of town, yet the system let me book one. There was one in the yard when I went to pick up my truck, after speaking with the person who was there renting it, I learned he booked his rental earlier that week. Uhaul was not very accommodating causing many extra hours of time, and doubling the labour cost of the people I hired to help with the move. Won't be renting from Uhaul again.David F.

I rented on a Monday. Hired a truck to move my stuff on Thursday, got there and your lock had not been removed. I payed 100 to have my stuff stored ok this truck until I could get your lock off.Ron M. | First Impressions
