The appliance dolly wasn't in the uhaul,I wasn't told that when I left,he said he thought he told me it was by the door,got to my destination and had to go back to get it,40 minuets wasted.miles added on,gas wasted,and I didn't even start my move yet.and I could only move in at the arranged times I set up.so it made things difficult and I had to add more time to put things into storage.the truck itself was great and easy to drive.Karen L V.

I had a very bad experience with U-Haul and would not recommend them to others. In fact, I would recommend any company except U-Haul. I got the UBox containers because the sales agent told me it was the best option as I could get them delivered. When it came time to schedule delivery, they told me they don't handle out of that location. I told the agent that is the only reason I got the boxes at that location. I had to rent a 15" box truck and drive them myself to my daughter's house. They charged an extra $200 for this. At every turn, I felt that U-Haul only cared about adding fees and not a good customer experience. We only had the UBoxes for less than a week. At no point did someone offer to refund the unused week or provide the 15' truck at no charge since UHaul was in the wrong and I feel defrauded me.Renee B.

I would never use uhaul again. I made my reservation a month before and then got a call the day before telling me that the location of my pickup didn't have my trailer so I had to drive a hour away. I thought that was very unprofessional especially with a reservation that was made a month in advance. Overall experience was very unprofessional.Anna G.

I did not know what he had to do when he delivered a team and the person who served me did not informed me. He only told me that he had to deliver the gas as it came out and nothing else. The staff on duty was so incredibly caring. They reserved a different accommodation for me at the end of the day, which saved me a considerable amount of money. I tried to offer them $40 in cash as a thanks, but both of them refused to accept it. I was going through s hard transition, because I just lost my job, and gave up my apartment to live with someone. The staff at this Uhaul location unknowingly made this difficult time in my life a little easier. I Wish so could remember their names. It was a woman, and a man at the end of the day shift. The truck I was given was not safe to drive. There were four major issues that I noticed. 1. There was no passenger seat belt clip. 2. There was a leak in the box that leaked water onto my sofa. 3. The truck swayed from side to side and was hard to control even at a slow speed. 4. The front tires were bald.Nathan H.

The employee who rented the vehicle to me was very kind and professional. She was very knowledgeable and helped me with another reservation. The only complaint I have is that the vehicle return process through the link took too long. It took me about 15 mins to do in the dark and pouring rain. I was not aware of the process so it caused me to so keep turning the truck off and on and then getting out and back in. I understand the need for this process but at almost 11pm in the dark and rain the process just took too long for me and I had no choice but to do it or be charged another $20 for someone else to verify the information. I did appreciate the clear directions on how to fix issues with my phone's locations. Overall I had a good experience.Donita J.

The truck I rented should have been retired a long time ago. It should not be on the road anymore. It was all beat up, ran terribly, was all over the road and difficult to maintain in a straight line. Awful suspension and handling. Super rattling noisy. Old gas-guzzler. The only thing that worked well was the a/c. Should no longer be considered safe to drive this truck. No fault of the staff at this U-haul location, they were excellent. Christian provided the best customer service ever. When my trailer was connected, the left turn signal was not working. Christian said "Don't worry, we will diagnose this and get you on the road". Sure enough. A few tests and a new fuse, I was ready to roll. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Honestly, one of the best customer service experiences in my 50 plus years. Needless to say, I am sure you are aware of him and his quality of work. However, most people only use these comment sections to complain. rience with u-haul was fine. One suggestion: while working on cleaning out our unit, the lights went off every ten minutes or so because they work on motion detection. That left us in the dark until someone walked to the end of the aisle to make the light come back on. Perhaps these lights could stay on a bit longer?pattie e. | Overall Experience

My only complaint is thanks to Covid-19 lockdowns this year, it took a lot longer to sell my home than expected, but throughout the whole process you guys were great and I was able to got back into storage to retrieve the books and crafting supplies that helped keep us sane when we couldn't go anywhere.john b. | Overall Experience
I had a reservation for a unit, the staff was very friendly her name was Ashley, however you didn't have a unit for me. All of the units in the building had locks on the first floor but we're not taken out of inventory so I had to scramble and find another location for storage. I never got to move in. I don't know that I would ever use U-haul again. I had a horrible experience getting my truck in South Carolina where you have a remote location that can't pick up GPS running a 24/7 pickup. I then had to drive 49 minutes to the next location to pick up a truck 20 miles outside of my way period then the owner hit the truck off of the gutter coming out to deliver the truck to me. I really think there needs to be more reliability during this time when you're not going to have people at a location on a Friday to hand you keys. I will never use your 24/7, or your online reservation service again. I was extremely disappointed being that I've used U-Haul several times for moving in my past. My entire schedule got messed up because of inconsistency within the U-Haul system. This is a no reflection of Ashley she was very personable and very professional. She even offered to call your Kingston location but by that point I had just about had it and was trying to keep my composure. The only negative comment that I have is after the WIlkes-Barre Twp facility was damaged by a tornado, being a former police officer in that town, I know there was damage. Trying to get information on my unit was very difficult. Nobody from uhaul reached out to me.
