Replace the manager, Liam (sp). I immediately went in there and he/she told me there was nothing that could be done about the AC going out. So i pulled the truck under the awning as instructed by Liam. The worker then informed me that the manager has the authority to request a refund from the area manager. Needless to say Liam and I had another conversation. So much for being customer centric. Thank you to the Area Manager who authorized an $85 partial refund. Front desk was very professional and courteous. All of the rules about what items were prohibited from being stored was explained to me. Other staff were friendly and welcoming. Facility was very clean. Staff went above and beyond to help me transition from my items being in a UBox to one of the first level, drive up storage units. This was my first time at this particular location. Sylvester was very helpful and he walked me through the entire process. Not once did he make me feel unappreciated. I asked plethora of questions and Sylvester addressed each one with expertise that only comes from years in the business. Jennifer and John were excellent in explaining the check in and check out process as well. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I'd definitely rent from this location again in the future. They did nothing for the multiple issues we had from the equipment including delays due to the straps on the trailers not working properly and having to adjust every 50-60 miles along with faulty wiper blades that made it difficult to drive through the storms.Susan F.

They charged me because I had a hair less in gas. What was irritating was that one guy told me to put more gas in it so I left and came back, and then apparently it was a fraction off so I still got charged 14 for what was probably one gallon. Before heading back I looked for information on how much gas I needed to put back into it,but I could not find it. The last time i rented a uhaul they sent me an email with a document that told me exactly how much gas to put it, but I did not get that this time which was frustratingGregory O.

The reps at this location informed me that they do not honor military discount which is confusing because I rented a 15 Foot truck at another location on 05/30/22 & they honored my Military Discount! With that said as you can see in your records I returned the 10 foot truck 05/31/22 11:30pm & sadly I did everything under the sun too self checkout & the app wasn't working after taking the gas & mileage pictures had to call customer service & was on hold for a hour & a half with my 2 little daughters just in limbo until finally speaking to the repâ€¦ While waiting so long in the worst area in Fort Worth at least 3 panhandlers came banging on the window scaring me & my kinds is enough to never again will I use your service & recommend anyone your service!!!!! UHAUL I'm very disappointed & dissatisfiedâ€¦David H.

The truck was clean but it seriously required some effort to drive. Firstly, the drivers door did not properly close unless slammed, and even doing that, it still came open. Couldn't get the truck to go over 60 mph. I know they aren't racecars but you'd think it'd at least do the speed limit without shaking and feeling like it's going to fall apart. The people at the rental location were great. I can't say the same for the truck I rented.John M.

I understand I arrived to drop off trailer right at 5pm when you close. But I had 4 employees walk by me and did not even acknowledge I was there. It was obvious I wasn't sure what I had to do or where to park the trailer. At the very least they could have said hello, and let me know that I had to do online drop off and where to park. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with Uhaul. I was given an access code written on paperwork at the time I purchased my unit. Two hours later, after I retrieved my belongings, I came to the storage facility at approximately 6:30pm. I entered the access code on the page, including the * and # on the front and back, and was denied a total of 8 times from accessing the gate. I tried calling customer services and was told I could not be helped. This is the second time in THREE MONTHS I have has this problem trying to access a unit after store hours. You all as a company have GOT to do better. Especially in a time where people are moving at higher rates than ever before. I have yet to receive a refund for the unit I was charged a full month for and not able to access on Rufe Snow Blvd, and have called about that three times, with no indication from a property manager when I would get my money back. I will be reporting this matter to the better business bureau as well, my Harry Hines storage unit has been changing in price without my consent sporadically over the last several months. I need to be reimbursed for the day that I was charged yesterday to move into the storage unit, because I was not able to access it. I need to be reimbursed for the cost of extending my trailer rental, due to not being able to access my unit or the property manager. I also need to be reimbursed for the unit on rufe snow I was not able to access due to their elevators being broken. As a customer, I'm completely shocked at the terrible service I've received from Uhaul. From property managers to customer service representatives: The stress and frustration of not being able to access these units, as well as the time and money it's cost me is absolutely disgusting. I was a day late on my reservation for a large unit. I drove half way across the US and had a issue which caused that delay and when I arrives at the facility I was told that my unit was given away. First of Ll that makes no sense. If I booked a hotel room for a month and was a day late it would not matter, I would simply have one less day. This has forever changed my opinion of uhaul and realize it's just another evil corporation. The salesperson at the desk was rude about it and offered no solution for me. I had to ask him, "how can you help me now" because he offered no options...until I asked. I was given a tiny unit that made I had to pack completely which made it nearly impossible to ever get anything I needed without unpacking all the boxes each time I needed to find something. Not to mention the smell of toxic poison was so strong that I would lose my sense of taste after being inside for more than 10 minutes. I NEVER moved into the unit. I've emailed 3 times explaining I never ever located the unit bc I have to have a drive up unit, because I have a bad back. I did reserve & did use a storage facility the UHaul customer service lady reserved for me. I rented 2 different moving trucks that I never used because I became very sick & wasn't able to do anything but rest. I just wished I would get a reply from the storage communications the same day I signed for the unit & again a few days later. My daughter did the booking of the storage and U-Haul online. Unbeknownst to the both of us we rented a locker as well as a small storage truck. The small storage truck was able to move all of her belongings from a one bedroom apartment the problem came in when we realized at 8 o'clock at night that she rented a locker instead of an actual storage room! Young lady who gave me the keys told me to look for the number on top of the truck and pretty much nothing else I drove around in circles trying to figure where 1546 was 26 and after driving around three circles I figured out that it was in the inside yet so knowing that I had to keep the hall for a longer time and speak to you are represented online who was very helpful and saved my impression for the storage facility the managers I spoke to secondly was very helpful as well but there was a customer service rep or cashier named Liam a young girl not very helpful At all her service was very very unserviceable it was as if I was bothering her she spoke very low and didn't greet me when I came in like when I came in the second time and was greeted upon arrival.Leah H. | Online Move In

I didnt catch the name of the young man who helped us but he was top notch. We had to transfer a storage unit and he was helpful and knew how to do all the paperwork confidently. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and it was so much easier than we expected. Eatman helped me after being chided By a woman about not having a mask on. My family has a medical exemption and they were not honoring it. However, after explaining the law to Eatman, and offering to step outside to do the transaction, he kindly offered to help. Please update your staff on the laws. People with medical conditions aren't required to wear a mask. You also shouldn't have every employee asking a customer about a mask. It becomes bullying at that point. I chose deliberately not to go on autopay because I hoped to stop needing the storage unit sooner. Paying month by month was far more stressful that it need be because of being able to make the payment on only a single day--impossible to pay on receipt of the reminder.
