The guy who helped me with the check-in was amazing. Truly someone who went above and beyond any expectations I had for picking up the trailer.

MICHAEL DLock latch was not operational. The U-Hail trucker drivers had to install a new latch that was not as secure at the pickup location. The staff was prepared for this type of thing happening.

DONALD CThe 15' truck I had was a hunk of junk. It had 171000 miles on it,The steering was loose,wind and road noise were deafening and the gas mileage was very poor. The vehicle should be retired from service or at the very least only rented out for very short trips.

LEON M | First ImpressionsMy experience was troublesome from all angles! 1. reserving; no one in the store Monday Feb 24th at 315pm. I called out and no response. Waited another 5 minutes. I went home and reserved online. 2. Picking up van; long line with 1 attendant. She was overwhelmed with telephone calls and customers. Amanda kept her composure and was polite, but clearly needed help on a Sunday morning. 3. Paying for my reservation; 30 minutes into my wait (I arrived on time for my 930 pickup) the checkout process was adding on additional fees. I had to spend another 15 minutes on the phone with a customer service representative, who had the same problem. Liz was as helpful as she could be, but there was clearly a systemic problem. 4. The truck; the one I got had an empty fuel tank, and it was the only one on the lot. I'm already 45-50 minutes into this, and to leave the lot I had to take photos of the truck to proceed. I had a crew of workers on the clock waiting on me, and now I have to go fuel up the truck. Very clever that they had my truck in the lot with an expected pick-up, but didn't care to fill the temp at least above the empty line. 5. Returning the truck; Again a long line and I just needed to return the keys. Overall, the store is poorly managed, and clearly the owners and management do not care to take pride in their store operations. I will choose another rental company in the future.
JULIE SOverall they seemed short staffed, as I had to wait for someone to get to the desk to pick up my rental. Then, no one came out to the truck upon return. Then they checked me out after I left and charged me for gas even though it appeared to have the exact same amount as when I rented it (although the charge was at least reasonable).

patricia LWe had rented a car hauler. When we got to the location to pick up the car….the wheel tie down on the drivers side was too short to tie down the tire. Once we started looking at it, you could tell it had been cut. Thankfully we were at a truck stop, so we were able to buy additional straps to tie the car down and get it home. We did report this when we returned car hauler and were given a discount. Overall we were happy.

JENNIFER WOrdered a pickup truck and trailer, then 3 hours later called and changed location. Then instead of a pick up truck was given a 10' box truck. So between the distance from the original and vehicle difference significant mileage and fuel cost occurred.

CHARLENE PI left with the unit and realized part of the truck was loose. I had to tire turn for them to fix it.
ROBERT HMake sure the truck windows were a little cleaner and clearer for operator safety.
MARK KWhoever checks the trucks back in, needs to know how to read a gas gauge! I brought it back with the exact same amount of gas in it, so I don't understand why I'm getting charged for it!

SCOT YThis is a revised report. When I picked up the truck the milage to E was 117Miles, wheen I dropped off the vehicle it was 118Miles to E and yet I was cahrged $10.52 for gas. I don't see why when it read more available milage than when I picked up the truck

ANDREW LThe equipment was clean, but not well maintained. The trailer dog tracked to the left. Went back to the location after picking up the trailer within 10 minutes and could not find anyone to help, so was forced to take the trailer as it was. It was an additional drag on the truck and also increased the gas usage radically. Reported it to the person at the store when it was returned and he could have cared less.
timothy cYou need to put on your website that no virtual banking is accepted like cashapp, Paypal, etc. I had to walk to pick up the vehicle to begin with but then I get down there and find out they don't accept any of these forms of payment so I then had to walk to the nearest bank to transfer funds. I call uhaul before I head back down there to make sure they are going to take my debit card from the local bank and he tells me he can't say for sure but to put another $50 on it to be sure! Because they'll definitely accept it then for a ridiculous fee of almost $50! It would also be helpful to know to have the app downloaded prior to returning the vehicle and be prepared to spend a good 10 minutes taking pictures of it. I thought an employee got paid to check the vehicle over when it was returned,but I guess you do it if it's after hours.
CARI HOverall I did not have a good experience and will not be renting from this location in the future. I was told I'd receive a refund for the storage unit for all the inconvenience and never received it. I got tired of calling and leaving messages with other staff. There was so much confusion and wasted time/ money.

My brother in law was receiving money from his mother (my mother in law) to pay the bill. He pocketed and we were unaware. Once we found out and went there with cash to pay it and remove all her items that day they wouldn't even work with us. Her important paperwork was in there. Pictures of her family. I can't imagine that container sold for very much and it was probably less than what we try to pay. I think your employees should remember that the people who rent those are human just like them. Things happen in life that we have no control over. I know the person in charge could of worked with us but instead chose to embarrass us in front of their staff and other customers when we came in. For that reason I will never use or recommend UHaul ever again in my life. If anyone ever wants to try and make right of this please call me 814-853-6230

The main facility was told aug 3 we were clear of the units. Yet they continue to charge me I have been charged 750.00+ dollars even after addressing the issue. Lazy people and don't want to take care of anything. I'm accused of having a lock on the unit it wasn't there when we left yet no one knows where it came from I've told them continuously I have both locks and sets of keys yet they still accuse me. I have been clear since Aug 3. The facility is aware I will go to everything and everyone to get this taken care of. This is getting ridiculous. It's Christmas nothing has been done in all the time I contacted them (which I have all the names, times,dates and run down of conversations when I talk to uhaul about this. It's 750.00 dollars!!!! SOMEONE NEEDA TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF YESTERDAY. ILL NEVER RENT HERE AGAIN

I received the codes on line but it wasn't clear which box I was supposed the enter the *_____# code; so, I tried it on the wrong building first. Then on the right one but received a you have to set up your code message. I came in the next day and the two young men at the front counter were very helpful and I was squared away.

The reservation was lost. Then it was found and was totally different than what I was told. It was specifically what I didn't want. The worst part is that my phone call and hold time was over an hour. Long over an hour. Then I inquired about renting a truck. I was told there were trucks for my move available over the weekend. I decided to go to the store and check in and sign papers like I was told.. and they couldn't find my reservation for the unit and then found I was charged, checked in and wasted a trip for the wrong unit anyway. Then.. I asked about the truck rental and figured I'd take care of that while I was there and I was told there's nothing and they were overbooked! This was only few hours after I wasted time on the telephone. I was upset about the multiple set backs and being inconvenienced more than once. The storage unit is clean however there are gaps in the broken cealing cover and I can see above the unit. I'm not sure what the problems are but I have been happy. It's uhaul in the past. This time I was very disappointed. I don't have time to hold an hour trying to file a complaint. It obviously isn't going to help my situation if there's nothing available. I can't afford to waste money in the middle of a move

robert B | First ImpressionsOur furniture was in this climate controlled facility for 21 months with zero issues. The unit was as clean as it was the day we put the furniture in the unit. The furniture was not covered and never got dusty! Amazing! We never entered the unit until we opened the door to remove the furniture and the floor was very clean. No bugs or rodent sightings. I highly recommend this Uhaul and would rent here again.

MARY G | Overall ExperienceI had a storage unit for my landscaping trailer and landscape equipment. Every time I tried to access my unit, it was blocked by Uhaul trucks. EVERY time. In order to get my trailer out, I had to go to the office (if it was open), ask them to move their trucks, wait for someone to move 2-4 trucks, and then gain access. This procedure had to be repeated when I returned to put my trailer back. I asked the office people to please not use the entrances to the storage units for a parking lot but was told that's where they had to park them. I emailed a manager more than once about this problem but nothing changed. I was paying more than 240.00 per month for a unit I couldn't get anything out of without the hassle I just mentioned. In order to get my trailer out, I had to go to the office (if it was open), ask them to move their trucks, wait for someone to move 2-4 trucks, and then gain access. This procedure had to be repeated when I returned to put my trailer back. I asked the office people to please not use the entrances to the storage units for a parking lot but was told that's where they had to park them. I emailed a manager more than once about this problem but nothing changed. I was paying more than 240.00 per month for a unit I couldn't get anything out of without the hassle I just mentioned. Justin (Asst Mgr) moved me into a 5'x5' space which actually was 4'x41/4', which he verified. He offered to rent me a bigger spaced for a 20% discount at $57.95, I interpreted this as an at least 5'x5' or a bit larger space. (I'd moved out of another space in a different state so I knew how my items should fit in that size space. That space cost only $62.90/mo., including insurance, much less than $82.50.) Also, the electronic card/keypad code didn't work on move-in day (6/14/2020 or for a few days following, setting off the deafening alarm. Then Justin (Asst. Mgr.) & Matt Driscoll (Gen Mgr.) offered me a larger space with a 20% discount, but didn't clarify this would be at my expense. There was an additional unexpected unauthorized billing 5 days later for $13.19 on June 19, 2020 for a total of over $95 for June, 2020. After a discussion with Justin, there was a credit of , then another unauthorized billing to my credit card for $98.48, then another billing for $113.48 July 18, 2020. I have had to contact my credit card bank for assistance. I felt I had to move-out immediately after discovering these unauthorized charges on my credit card, which seemed to get worse with on-site efforts to clarify the price per month. I have moved out. I rented at the same location in the past with a different manager. There were no billing problems. There were problems with break-ins, especially over a snowy, icy winter with the front gate inoperable for a period of time. A U-Haul lock from a previous location also got stuck at the June, 2020 rental, which I replaced with another disc lock I purchased elsewhere. I mentioned this to Matt Driscoll. There seem to have been some other issues causing tension which I don't understand.

Probably when management was not around. The process to get someone to answer the buzzer and come to open the door took as long as 15 minutes. I deducted two stars because of poor access on weekend.
