Both times I had my pod delivered (both in NY to pack it up and in Tampa to unload at my final destination) the pod did not arrive on time. In NY, they did call me to let me know it would be late, but in Tampa, I was given a 9am-12pm drop off time. Did not hear anything from the driver or U-Haul, until I finally called at around 12 for an update. I was told they could not reach the driver of the truck, and once they do, they will call me. Another 2 hours passed and still did not hear anything. I called back 2 more times and finally at 3 pm, the driver called that they would be here in 30 minutes. When you pay for a service and you are given a THREE HOUR WINDOW, it is unacceptable for this to happen, especially twice with the same pod. I paid a ton of money for this service and was notnhappy

What is the point of asking how you want to pay? Unbelievable. Do better.

First and last time I use U-Haul that lady Norma that said she is the manager is the rudest , most condescending person I have met in a long time, don't understand how she is front office with the way she speaks down to customers. Next time I need to move going back to two men and a truck now those people know how to treat customers with a little decency. Renato D.The staff are too lazy. When I picked up the car this morning, the gas tank was almost empty, but the staff marked my information that the fuel tank was still a quarter left. I reminded her that the gas tank was almost empty and should mark my record according to the actual data. The lady didn't want to change my information,she told me it didn't matter, just take a picture of the gas gauge and odometer and show it to the staff at the destination when I drop off the car. But the truth is that the pictures are of no use at all, and when drop off the car they only look at the initially marked data to calculate the gas level. It took me 30 minutes to contact the pickup location, but the customer service call went unanswered. If someone here tells you to take a picture to prove how much gas is in your rental car, don't believe her, everything is based on paper work.

When we arrived, our car was there, but the keys were missing, so we had to change out our car for a different one, which slowed us down. We also never received a receipt with the exact mileage, so we had to estimate it before arriving and may have overpaid.

Christopher D.The cashier was very friendly, but there was a young guy with braids laughing about us at the parking lot, all of the suden the car we got smell like cigarettes smoke, though it was ok but it was bad and terrible, also had trash inside of it, a watter bottle and some boxes, terrible experience, when I come back same guy is at the receiving area staring and laughing, can't accusate since there is no evidence, but car was terrible dirty, we let the cashier know, is not the first time I have a issue at this location, last time left the tank full of gass, higher than expected and still got charged extra, had to call corporate, got refunded eventually, but its definitely something to deal with, will consider a different location next time if needed, but if terrible terrible experience, no shame on saying it

I asked for a larger cube and they accommodated me with a 5x10 cube. When I arrived to move in, I explained to the check in peeps in what transpired. They all acted stupid and denied having a 5x10 cube available (even though I I knew the number of the cube I was promised and it happened to be empty- and a 5x10...) I called the same number hoping to get the same guy, but got a lady. She told me there was no way for the previous guy to know what cubes were open. So- I figure the guy on the phone had a magical computer which gave him a special power to see available cubes. Or- I have ESP and hallucinated the whole experience to know what cube number was available and that it was a 5x10. Either way, Uhaul would not honor the promise or compromise with me on a larger cube. The girl on the phone actually asked if there was any thing 'else' she could help me with. She thinks she helped me???(Clearly she's in MENSA) In summary, my opinion is that if my dog smoked Crystal Meth, he would still be smarter and more organized than these people at this location. Since my stuff wouldn't fit in their aquarium-sized 5x5 unit, I had find other arrangements to store my stuff. Bravo people! Bravo...

When I arrive to pick up the truck and claim my unit I was told I had until 5 to access my unit that day because I could only access it during staffed hours. I went back home and loaded up the truck myself and then drove back over to the location to unload into my unit. I arrive around 4:46 and couldn’t find my unit so I went to the front door to ask for help and the door was locked before 5. I went around the back to see if I could find it and I saw a couple of employees that helped me in the right direction but for some reason wouldn’t tell me that I couldn’t use it because they were are leaving early. So I ended up calling the store manger 4 times because his number was a on a board and didn’t answer or even call me back after a voicemail. So I needed to bring the truck back to my house UNLOAD all my stuff myself and wait until the next day to then again RELOAD all my stuff. When I dropped off the truck the guy I spoke with accommodated me but I wanted to make you aware of the situation.

Inside building 3, there is a strong order of urine!
