Insure the contract reflects the gas gauge accurately on the contract at the time it goes out. With most of the activity being done online it's easy to get disconnected information and you don't notice until after leaving the facility and email arrives.

Over charged and reprimanded over the phone for items I did not receive. I reserved a truck and a furniture dolly online. I confirmed I needed both the truck and dolly when I arrived to the pick up location and after payment they said they would bring the reserved items out front for me to take. Outside while waiting, they told me they didn't have any furniture dolly's available and that they could not take it off of my bill since the agreement was already signed but that a note was put in my file about the dolly not being available so I wasn't too worried about this. After dropping off the truck at my designated location I received missed calls but no voicemails, and texts inquiring about the missing dolly which I never received. I called the drop off location and spoke to Tony who reprimanded me over the phone saying that they wouldn't have put it on my bill if they didn't have it available and that he called me 3 times and texted so he “did his best” to get in touch and wasn't able to help me because he was on the phone with somebody else, but he did tell me he would have his manager call me back for further help, to which I accepted but never received a phone call back. I then received a receipt from uhaul with a $75 missing item fee attached to it. In addition to the charges from the receipt I received there was an addition $175.25 charge to my card on file from uhaul with no receipt. I then called the customer service line and spoke with a very helpful agent, Stormy, who also didn't know why I would be charged twice with two very different amounts. This issue has been escalated and I am currently awaiting response. Moving is an extremely stressful and expensive process and this has made it even harder on myself and my family.

The roof of our trailer had a whole on it that we did not realize until it rained and a ton of our personal belongings got wet. It looked like they tried to fix the whole with packing tape or something. Our blankets got wet our mattress got soaked picture frames got wet.

I scheduled a 26' truck & reserved it. Only to be notified the day before I was scheduled to pick it up, that it was no longer available. First off that upset me since we had our utilities scheduled to be turned off on the same date. Then the next day it was up to me to track down another truck the seze we needed. When I did find one it wouldn't be available for 2 days. Then I had to find transportation to go approximately 25 miles to pick up the truck. It was a fiasco the entire rental procedure. I will be using Penske or Budget from now on & recommend my family & friends do the same.

I had no issues at the pick up location. However, during my trip I experienced a blow out on my trailer tire. I spent about an hour on the side of a highway, in the middle of nowhere, till help arrived. I understand sometimes things like this can not be prevented, but tire and equipment checks may have caught an issue before this happened. I don't know if they inspected it before I arrived but the tires appeared to be old. I noticed after the blow out. This was my first time towing. I didn't know what to look for or expect.

Probably advise clients on more realistic time frames for delivery and where boxes wi actually arrive. I could have ordered a 4th box if I knew it would only take 3 days for delivery and I was quoted 8 to 9 days. I had to throw out and leave lots of stuff behind because of this.

Went up on the cost with a very short notice. Access doors to unit were rarely opened. Mice had been in my unit and chewed up certain plastic containers. Front desk staff weren't very attentive and seemed to have attitudes often. My rental truck was cancelled because I was 20 minutes late. I did not receive notice or phone call.

This location was far superior to the pick up location although once again my location was changed requiring me to drive 10+ miles out of my way to drop off the truck. My recommendation is to only give pick up and drop off locations as options on the website that are truly available!

I made reservations to pick up at 1 location and drop off at another. My pick up location changed my drop off location changed they changed the truck 3 times they changed the trailer twice.. Then when I tried to return the truck in trailer I could not do it through the app and it was after hours because they had changed the equipment so many times.. Nobody informed me of this beforehand so I spent an hour on the phone with various people trying to figure out what was going on. Then when I returned the truck in trailer it was at a storage unit with a gate when I hold in the gate was wide open when I went to leave the gate was closed I had no gay code to get out so I had to wait for somebody else to come in and open the gate so I could leave not a very good experience with uhaul

Trailer lights worked intermittently. Hub, axel or E brake was sticking causing it to feel like brakes were locked up every 100 yards. Tires would skip and smoke on occasion.

My issue is not with this location. The staff here were very friendly and helpful and the storage unit was clean. The issue is when I first called Uhaul they issued me the wrong storage unit twice and it involved me driving out of my way. Also the uhaul I was issued from the St Pete location was very dirty. I was such in a rush to load my personal belongings that when I off loaded them into storage they were very dirty and dusty. Also the dolley handle in the back of the uhaul was damaged. On the side wall of the back of the uhaul there were brownish bloodish stains. So disgusting. Throughout this whole ordeal I constantly called customer service to complain but was put on extremely long holds and was even told we would be contacted back within 72 hours from a manager. That has yet to happen.

Cancelled my truck reservation. Wrong time was recorded by associate. I've always used UHaul and I've never had any problems until 3/27/22. It totally ruined my move in day for today. The associate had an "Oh Well not her fault" demeanor. I won't be returning to the West Hillsborough (Tampa) location ever again. The Gandy Location (Tampa) helped me out with a truck not the same size but I could work with it.

There is no proration for storage units which is not correct for customers! Especially since it was turned in (freed/move out) 3 weeks before the next due date and there was no credit given (returned credit or in house credit) which I personally think is wrong, they will lock up your unit if you don't pay ( not my case, I always paid before my due date) but you can't get reimbursed or credited for future use!!! This is very wrong to the consumers!

I rented a 5x5 cube. Realized it was too small after checking in, and during my move. I called Uhaul- same number I've been calling. I asked for a larger cube and they accommodated me with a 5x10 cube. When I arrived to move in, I explained to the check in peeps in what transpired. They all acted stupid and denied having a 5x10 cube available (even though I I knew the number of the cube I was promised and it happened to be empty- and a 5x10...) I called the same number hoping to get the same guy, but got a lady. She told me there was no way for the previous guy to know what cubes were open. So- I figure the guy on the phone had a magical computer which gave him a special power to see available cubes. Or- I have ESP and hallucinated the whole experience to know what cube number was available and that it was a 5x10. Either way, Uhaul would not honor the promise or compromise with me on a larger cube. The girl on the phone actually asked if there was any thing 'else' she could help me with. She thinks she helped me???(Clearly she's in MENSA) In summary, my opinion is that if my dog smoked Crystal Meth, he would still be smarter and more organized than these people at this location. Since my stuff wouldn't fit in their aquarium-sized 5x5 unit, I had find other arrangements to store my stuff. Bravo people! Bravo...

I was rented storage on a second floor, this was not disclosed until AFTER payment had already been processed. Also, iT IS IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of someone over the phone!! I literally called at all times of the day and NEVER got a response. I had to call another U Haul facility to get assistance. Customer Service is non existent. Clean house, and start over!

I would give 5 star rating it wasn't for Trucks parked in back. No parking at all. Two spaces available and people waiting in line to drop off or pick up from their units. Otherwise, there was no problem. Unit was clean! Great staff!

Norma was wonderful and extremely helpful. Also the gentleman with the broken arm that worked in the shop went above and beyond to assist us with parking and access to the unloading dock. Facility was clean. Seriously needs a larger unloading area though!!

I rented a pickup truck and a storage unit same day. When I arrive to pick up the truck and claim my unit I was told I had until 5 to access my unit that day because I could only access it during staffed hours. I went back home and loaded up the truck myself and then drove back over to the location to unload into my unit. I arrive around 4:46 and couldn't find my unit so I went to the front door to ask for help and the door was locked before 5. I went around the back to see if I could find it and I saw a couple of employees that helped me in the right direction but for some reason wouldn't tell me that I couldn't use it because they were are leaving early. So I ended up calling the store manger 4 times because his number was a on a board and didn't answer or even call me back after a voicemail. So I needed to bring the truck back to my house UNLOAD all my stuff myself and wait until the next day to then again RELOAD all my stuff. When I dropped off the truck the guy I spoke with accommodated me but I wanted to make you aware of the situation.

The cars was very small, u can not load it and the most incredible thing Only one elevator at the corner of the begging of all the units and is very unfair. They give me my unit in the other side of the elevator so far far far from my unit. Is very frustrating and hard to move all your stuff. Need two more elevator for the convenience other customers. Very disappointed 

This location will try to overcharge you. Their management and workers are so unprofessional. I moved out of a storage before the next due date and they knew it but still tried to charge me. They are pulling some type of illegal scam. U-Haul corporate need to investigate this location ASAP!!!"

Everything was great until I asked to close my storage-I took my picture, sent in the close out procedure-it took almost a month and 2 phone calls and an email to get them to close it after I also received a late notice and a late fee (which I didn't owe them a dime)...but after the final phone call..all was taken care of!
