Staff-good. Storefront-ok; credit card reader barely functioned. Truck-clean but driver door was warped and had to be slammed to close completely, brakes squealed a ton. On one particular occasion, I used the uhaul restroom provided. At this time, I noticed a planter with artificial flowers on the floor in the corner with a clean roll of necessary toilet paper. As I reached down for the roll, the artificial flowers fell out of the planter. I saw something glossy in the bottom of the planter. It was a used crack pipe! After finishing in the bathroom, I and my fiancé showed the pipe to the uhaul rep on duty. The rep said he would throw it away. Answer the phone at the location. Like seriously takes hours to contact someone and then the person that helps is off site and doesn't truly know the inner workings of the day to day, preventing customers from efficient planning and logistics for their move/storage experience. I wasn't called the night before regarding my reservation, and then when I got to my location, there was not a truck available for me. I was directed to call my local scheduling person, who was able to find a smaller, in-town truck for me at the same pickup location, but when I got there someone else who had reserved the truck in person was given priority, even though the truck had been reserved for me first. I had to leave my number and hope that someone returned one of the smaller trucks early, which ended up happening. Was very disappointed that 1) didn't receive the confirmation phone call, even if it had been that there wouldn't be a truck available and 2) that I had to be put on a wait list a second time, even after my first truck was unavailable.Frances O.

their phones were down, could not call directly, supposedly from lightning strike and printer not working so could not get a printed receipt,estimates, nothing. Returned the truck but was not given a final bill amount. Told them 100 miles estimate but it was closer to 30. They billed me for 100. Never told me how much I would get back driving 70 less miles than estimate? But the 10 foot box truck took care of all my stuff and drove ok .Altho I fell out of the cab once cause I fergot about the BIG step down.Thomas V.

We rent Uhaul's quite frequently. We have been having a problem with placing our orders. It doesn't show you this location even when that is what was requested. It doesn't always allow you to return it to this location too. We rent a UHaul storage unit and refer this business to our customers frequently. It would be nice that we were given free rent on our storage unit a month a quarter. We get emails say that we receive a free month and are told that we don't qualify. Great location, always good customer service here. Only complaint today was the local pick up we rented was filthy inside. Dash, center console/armrest dirty and sticky, floor mats dirty. I would like to recommend that in the future the employees at this location show some kind of attention and respect to the customer. Then it would be beneficial if they would follow through with their promises. I was the only customer at pick up and the employees were at the counter but showed little interest in getting my going with my rental. On return there were 2 employees the same number, but not the same employees as at pickup, but did not put any effort into interacting with me once again. They promised to email a receipt and that did not happen either.JOSHUA D.

The crew allowed me time to chase down a bad ground wire. Then they suggested I check the trailering fuse of which there was not one. The manager gave me one from his personal parts. They made the entire experience easy. They also removed an enormous amount of the stress one may feel when doing an out-of-state move alone. They should be be recognized for their effort and professionalism that often non-existsent in today's service sector. I applaud them. They are the benchmark to which everyone sould aspire. The time it took to get in and out was ridiculous and every Sunday there's a huge line waiting for the door to be opened. One Sunday the worker was late and nobody else was there. The lack of manpower to keep things moving smoothly was definitely insufficient and poorly managed. As far as reservations on line and trying to get it all done without having all the stuff to deal with inside...... it would have been easier and faster by going in which says a lot considering they were lined up out the door almost! I will never use the online stuff anymore and if conditions don't get better inside then I'll go to budget.Corene T.

Had to sweep out the unit. Lots of leaf debris and some spider webs as would be expected for a drive up unit. Pallets and rodent trap were placed in the unit as standard, but the pallets were dirty and I was concerned about potential for bugs in them. When I moved them, spiders crawled out. I covered them with tarp and set them to the side which took up space. Pallets should be offered but not automatically placed. Timing prevented me from asking for removal.Lori W. | First Impressions

Need overhead lights installed. There is a light but when I ask for a light bulb I was told none of the units could be lit I would need to use my car headlights. Slide on door very hard to open. I asked for the lock-latch on my storage unit to be fixed. The local staff said the would have their "guy" come out and fix it. I'm very happy with the unit and my experience so far. One odd thing is the online reservation indicated if I booked immediately online a lock would be included free (and in the unit when I arrived.) It was not. I asked inside the office and the person at the desk told me that a lock was not included. My first interaction with UHAUL (after it bought out the storage company) was a threatening letter which stated that they were going to sell everything in my storage locker immediately - because my credit card number had changed and the automatic payment did not go through. More recently, when it was time to move out, I showed up at my locker one evening to find a second lock installed, with a note to go by the office to get the key for it. The office was already closed, so I could not access my things. I had not been notified that a new lock had been installed. Both my first and last interactions with this company were decidedly negative. I will never rent from UHAUL again if I can avoid it.ELINA R. | Overall Experience
