Setting up the storage unit as well as renting a truck and moving in was all possible in 1 day. Perfect place for people in college to leave things over the summer and have more space outside of the dorms!!

Better water control over garage door,every time snow would start to melt or it was raining when I would open door i would get soaking wet. Other than that unit was fine.

Holly P. | First ImpressionsNo problems overall. Being a satilite facility it was no staffed and had to go to main office to talk with a person. There was a dead rat/mouse in a bait trap when moving into the unit. Again, no real problem as it was caught and dead, I just had to dispose of it. No lighting in the unit. There was a tear from a vehicle collision to the outer skin of the metal unit shell when I moved out that had been taped over with fabric tape. As this was not there on moving into the unit and was when I picked up my things, I assume it happened in the year I was renting. I was absent from Maine that entire year. I wasn't informed of the damage and paid by direct debit from out of State. As I said no staff on site so no monitoring I assume so that's a problem. Anyway, although not fully weather proof or totally secure no personal belongings got damaged so thank you for the storage space.

Then I decided to move to a facility within 10 minutes of my home. Had the lock not been frozen and I wasted nine hours plus of my time, I might still be there. Staff was friendly and helpful, except for the frozen lock.

Upon arrival after my three-hour journey, there was no lock not was there an onsite place to purchase a lock. I had to find a store that sold locks (thank goodness for mobile phones and decent cell service). I WAS able to purchase a lock at a local Reny's store and get my unit loaded up and locked. However, it was not cool to arrive and find no lock in the unit.

Since becoming a uhaul facility I have been dealing with a gentleman named Zac. He has been very polite and has answered all the questions i have had about the change over in ownership. He helped me get a new lock for my unit to make sure my valuables were safe. He even contacted me recently when there was a problem with my card on file and it didn't go through. I appreciate that level of observation. I really appreciate the time he takes and the level of patience he has to talk to me and explain everything out for me.
